Claude Turkish Airlines connectorWhat Claude checks on Turkish Airlines flights and bookings.
The Claude Turkish Airlines connector exposes 8 tools: 8 read, 0 write, 0 undocumented. They search bookable flights and return legs, check live status for a flight or a route, read a booking and its baggage allowance from a PNR, and fetch city guides and promotions.

What changes when Claude can query Turkish Airlines
With this connector, you ask Claude about a Turkish Airlines trip in plain language and it calls the airline's own tools while it answers: flight search with prices, live flight status, booking details and baggage allowance, city guides and promotions, all in the same conversation.
Fares for a route. search_flights returns bookable Turkish Airlines options with prices for your route, dates and passengers; on an international round trip, search_inbound_flights then brings the return legs once you pick the outbound.
A flight followed live. flight-status gives departure and arrival times, gate, terminal and whether it is on time, delayed or landed.
A booking read back. From a PNR or e-ticket number, get_booking_details returns passengers, segments and status, and get_booking_baggage_allowance tells you what bags the ticket includes.
What it will not do: none of the eight tools on the directory sheet is described as booking, paying, changing or cancelling a flight. They search and read. Nothing runs by itself either: Claude does not watch your flight in the background, it checks the status when you ask. If you want an alert sent on a schedule, that is a job for an automation platform; our Integrations hub lists the ones we document.
Five words before you start
Claude's vocabulary around this connector, in one minute.
- Connector
- The link you set up once between Claude and an outside service, so Claude can call it while it answers you.
- Tool
- One named capability a connector gives Claude. Claude decides which to call; the directory sheet lists each one by name.
- Authorization
- A service's own sign-in or consent screen, where you grant the access Claude will use. Given once per person, and revocable.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for before it changes something in an account for you, shown in the chat at that moment.
- MCP
- The shared standard behind connectors: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as an airline.
Connect Turkish Airlines to Claude in three steps
- 01
Find Turkish Airlines in your settings
Open Claude's settings, go to Customize, then Connectors, and search for Turkish Airlines. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner must enable it for the organization before members connect.
- 02
Start the connection
Click Connect on its row and follow the window that opens. If the connection breaks later, Disconnect it and connect it again, which is the documented repair.
- 03
Read any consent screen
If a sign-in or consent screen appears, read it before you accept: it is the service's screen, not Claude's, and it sets what the access covers. No source describes a Turkish Airlines account step for this connector.
The 8 tools, sorted by what they do
Turkish Airlines gives Claude 8 tools: 8 that read your account, 0 that change something in it.
All eight read. Turkish Airlines describes each one in the tool list its service publishes, and the names stay exactly as Claude shows them, dashes included.
- 8 read
What Claude reads (8)
8 toolsEight tools that search fares, follow flights and read bookings without altering them.
flight-status
Pulls real-time status information for a flight: departure and arrival times, gate, terminal, and whether it is on time, delayed or has landed.
flight-status-by-route
Shows the status of the flights already scheduled or in the air on a given route, rather than one flight at a time.
search_flights
Searches Turkish Airlines flights and returns the available options with their prices, so Claude can lay them out for you in the conversation.
search_inbound_flights
Brings the inbound options of a round trip, with the combined round-trip price, once you have picked an outbound option from the previous search.
get_city_guide
Fetches a travel guide for a destination city: what to see, where to go, transportation information, the weather and more.
get_airline_promotions
Looks up Turkish Airlines promotions from two inputs, a country and airports, and brings what it finds back into the conversation.
get_booking_details
Retrieves a reservation from its PNR or e-ticket number and returns the passenger details, flight segments and status.
get_booking_baggage_allowance
Returns the detailed baggage information attached to a booking. The airline's description points to it for questions on baggage allowance, baggage limits or extra baggage.
What Claude asks before acting
Claude's default is to pause and ask before any action it takes on an account for you. The eight tools listed on the directory sheet search or read, so in normal use there is nothing to confirm.
On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let some actions through without a new prompt, and they can restrict what a connector does for the whole organization, keeping reads open and closing writes, for example. Nobody overrides that from a personal account. Claude works with the rights of the person who connected it, never more. The official per-tool read or write label only shows inside a connected account's settings.
Which plans include it
None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows availability by plan. Connector by connector, that answer is not published anywhere.
What is published is the general rule: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner turns a connector on for the organization before members can connect it. For this connector's current state, open its sheet in the official directory, the only place that shows it.
Where the Claude Turkish Airlines connector stops
A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you; nothing fires when a flight is delayed or a gate moves.
A tool list made only of reads is an observed floor, not a guarantee: an admin can open actions that no public sheet shows. The directory's verification badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not decide a publisher's tools. Only Turkish Airlines documents this connector, through the tool descriptions its service publishes; no Claude help article or Anthropic developer page covers it.
