What you can automate

What does the Invoicing.plus Make integration do?

The Invoicing.plus Make integration lets a Make scenario (the automation you build, a chain of steps) add a customer to your Invoicing.plus account for you. The customer details come from another app, so nobody retypes them before the first invoice goes out.

A signed deal becomes a billable customer. When your CRM marks a deal as won, the scenario passes the client's details to Create a Customer. Your account is ready before anyone opens the invoicing screen.

A web form feeds your customer list. A client fills in an onboarding form built with another app, for example the 123FormBuilder Make integration, and Make copies the answers into Invoicing.plus.

A spreadsheet import without the copy and paste. Each row of a sheet becomes one bundle (one item passed from step to step), and Create a Customer runs once per row.

Know the limits before you start. This app offers a single module, an action: no trigger, no search, no update. The official Make documentation also says it is limited, because little public information exists about Invoicing.plus. Something always has to start the scenario from outside, and anything beyond adding a customer stays manual. If you also weigh another tool, the n8n vs Make comparison lays out the criteria, and the Make training covers the editor from the ground up.

Connect

How do you connect Invoicing.plus to Make?

  1. 01

    Add the module

In your scenario, click the +, search for Invoicing.plus and pick Create a Customer. Make then asks for a connection: your Invoicing.plus account linked to Make once, reused by every module of the app.

  2. 02

    Open the connection window

Click Create a connection. You can give it a name, which helps when you run several Invoicing.plus accounts, say one per company you bill from.

  3. 03

    Authorize and save

Depending on what the app asks, either approve access on the Invoicing.plus page that opens, or paste the key Invoicing.plus gives you. Then click Save and the connection shows up in the module.

First scenario

Your first scenario with Invoicing.plus

GoalWhen a new client lands in another app, Make creates that customer in Invoicing.plus.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + to add the first module. Since Invoicing.plus has no trigger, this first spot goes to the app where your clients appear.

  2. 02

    Pick the starting app

Choose the trigger of your CRM, form tool or spreadsheet, click Create a connection for that app and fill its fields. Make lists what it can read once the account is linked.

  3. 03

    Add Create a Customer

Click the + on the right of the first module, search Invoicing.plus and pick Create a Customer. Connect your account, then map each field from the data the first module sends.

  4. 04

    Test with Run once

Click Run once to execute the scenario a single time. Open the bubble above each module to read the bundles it received, then check that the customer really appears in Invoicing.plus.

  5. 05

    Schedule and switch on

Set the clock on the first module (a new scenario checks every 15 minutes by default, 15 is also the Free plan minimum) and switch the scenario on. From now on it runs without you.

Modules

What Invoicing.plus can do in Make

Invoicing.plus gives you 1 module. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Invoicing.plus1

Create a Customer

ActionIn the docs only

This action adds a new customer record to Invoicing.plus from data another module hands over, so billing starts from a clean, complete entry instead of a hurried manual one.

When to use it
right after the moment a client becomes real for you, such as a won deal, a submitted onboarding form or a new spreadsheet row.
Watch out
it only creates, it has no search to check for an existing record, so place a filter or a lookup in another app first to avoid duplicates.

FAQ

Invoicing.plus and Make: common questions

01Is the Invoicing.plus Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. Invoicing.plus is a standard app, so it works on the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a 15 minute minimum between scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. Make counts each operation, meaning one run of one module on one bundle, against your monthly credits. Your Invoicing.plus subscription is a separate matter this page does not cover.
02What do you need to connect Invoicing.plus to Make?
An Invoicing.plus account and a Make account. The Make documentation lists no prerequisite for this app. You add the Create a Customer module, click Create a connection, optionally name it, then either approve access on the Invoicing.plus page or paste the key the app provides, and click Save. The connection is stored once and reused by the module in every scenario. If the window asks for a key you cannot find, the answer lives in your Invoicing.plus settings, since the Make documentation for this app is limited.
03Does the Invoicing.plus integration react in real time?
It depends on the app that starts the scenario, because Invoicing.plus has no trigger of its own. Its only module is an action, so it waits for a first module from another app. If that first module is an instant trigger, the source app calls Make through a webhook as soon as something happens and the customer is created right away. If it is a scheduled trigger, Make checks on the scenario's schedule, every 15 minutes by default, down to 1 minute on paid plans. You can also start the scenario from a schedule alone.
04What if the Invoicing.plus module you need is missing?
Then Make cannot do it for this app today. Invoicing.plus offers only Create a Customer, and it has no Make an API Call module to reach other features. The official documentation is limited too. Two routes remain: handle the missing step in another app that the scenario already uses, or ask the Hack'celeration team to look at your case and suggest a workaround. Updating or deleting customers, for example, stays a manual task in Invoicing.plus for now.
05Make or n8n for Invoicing.plus?
It depends on what your other automations already run on. On Make, Invoicing.plus brings one module, Create a Customer, available on the Free plan and simple to wire behind a form, a CRM or a sheet. Whether an n8n node exists for this app is not something this page can confirm, so check the n8n side before you choose. Neither tool is ranked here: the n8n vs Make comparison on this site sets out the criteria side by side, which helps more than a verdict.
