What you can automate

What can the SolarMarket Make integration do for you?

The SolarMarket Make integration links your SolarMarket account to Make, a no-code tool where you build a scenario (the automation itself, a chain of steps). Each step is a module, one brick that does one job. SolarMarket brings 14 of them, all actions, to create, update and search clients, projects and custom fields.

A lead that becomes a project without copy and paste. A contact fills in a form in another app, Criar Cliente adds the client to SolarMarket and Criar Projeto opens the project right after. Your sales team starts the day with the record already there.

Project data that follows the deal. When a site visit is booked elsewhere, Pesquisar Projeto finds the matching project and Atualizar Valor de Campo Customizado do Projeto writes the new value into the custom field your team tracks.

Reports built from live records. Pesquisar Proposta Ativa and Pesquisar Funil pull the current proposal and the funnel, so you can send them to a spreadsheet or a chat tool your managers already read.

One limit to know: SolarMarket has no trigger in Make, so it cannot start a scenario by itself. Another app or the scenario schedule has to kick things off. The module names are in Portuguese, and the official documentation warns that its own text is AI-generated and should be checked with SolarMarket. Before choosing a tool, the n8n vs Make comparison lays out the criteria, the Make pricing page explains how operations are counted, and the Make training walks you through the editor.

Connect

How do you connect SolarMarket to Make?

  1. 01

    Copy your API token

In SolarMarket, click your name or profile picture in the top right corner, then choose Token API in the menu. Copy the token shown on screen. You need an active SolarMarket account for this entry to exist.

  2. 02

    Open the connection window

In your Make scenario, add any SolarMarket module and click Create a connection. A connection is your SolarMarket account linked to Make once, then reused by every SolarMarket module you add later.

  3. 03

    Paste the token and save

Give the connection a clear label in Connection name if you like, it is optional. Paste the token you copied, confirm, and Make can now read and write your SolarMarket clients and projects.

First scenario

Your first scenario: turn a new lead into a SolarMarket project

GoalWhen a new lead arrives in another app, Make creates the client in SolarMarket and opens a project for it.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Pick the app where your leads land first, since SolarMarket has no trigger of its own to start the flow.

  2. 02

    Add Criar Cliente

Click the + to the right of that first module, search for SolarMarket and choose Criar Cliente. Select your connection, then map the lead details coming from the first module into the client fields.

  3. 03

    Chain Criar Projeto

Add Criar Projeto after the client. Map what the new project needs from the modules before it. Make shows the data each earlier module returned, so you pick it from a list instead of typing.

  4. 04

    Test with Run once

Click Run once and create a test lead. Open each module to read the bundle it received, a bundle being one item passed along. Then check that the client and project appear in SolarMarket.

  5. 05

    Schedule and switch on

Set the clock on the first module (every 15 minutes by default for a new scenario) and turn the scenario on. Each module run on one bundle counts as one operation on your plan.

Modules

What the SolarMarket modules do

SolarMarket gives you 14 modules. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

SolarMarket1

Atualizar Cliente

ActionIn the docs only

Your client records stay current without a trip into SolarMarket. The name means Update Client, so this module edits a client that already exists instead of adding one.

When to use it
a customer sends new contact details through your form tool and the sales team should see them in SolarMarket.
Watch out
the module has to know which client to change, so put Pesquisar Cliente in front of it when your source does not hold the SolarMarket record.
SolarMarket2

Atualizar Projeto

ActionIn the docs only

You get a project that reflects what happened elsewhere, without anyone editing it by hand. The name translates to Update Project: it changes a project that already lives in SolarMarket.

When to use it
a technical visit is confirmed in your calendar app and the project should carry that news.
Watch out
custom fields have their own module, Atualizar Valor de Campo Customizado do Projeto, so pick that one when the value you want to change is a custom field.
SolarMarket3

Atualizar Valor de Campo Customizado do Projeto

ActionIn the docs only

This one writes a single value into a custom field of a project, which is how you keep your own tracking columns filled. The long Portuguese name reads as Update Project Custom Field Value.

When to use it
your team tracks something SolarMarket does not cover by default, such as a financing status, and another tool knows the answer first.
Watch out
look up the right field first with Pesquisar Campos Customizados Associados a um Projeto so you do not write into the wrong one.
SolarMarket4

Criar Cliente

ActionIn the docs only

New prospects land in SolarMarket as clients the moment your scenario runs, with no copy and paste. Criar Cliente means Create Client and adds a fresh record.

When to use it
leads arrive through a web form, an ad platform or a chat app and should become SolarMarket clients.
Watch out
running it twice for the same person gives you two clients. Place Pesquisar Cliente before it and only create when the search comes back empty.
SolarMarket5

Criar Projeto

ActionIn the docs only

A project opens in SolarMarket without anyone creating it by hand, ready for the sales and engineering work that follows. The name stands for Create Project.

When to use it
right after Criar Cliente, or when a qualified lead in your CRM reaches the stage where a quote gets prepared.
Watch out
the documentation does not list what the module asks for, so open it in Make after connecting and check which inputs it requires before mapping.
SolarMarket6

Make an API Call

ActionIn the docs only

When none of the ready-made modules does what you need, this one lets you call any endpoint of the SolarMarket API with the same connection. You keep one account link and gain the whole API.

When to use it
you need an action none of the listed SolarMarket modules offers.
Watch out
you write the request yourself, so check with SolarMarket what the call expects and test with Run once before switching the scenario on.
SolarMarket7

Pesquisar Campos Customizados Associados a um Projeto

ActionIn the docs only

Here you see which custom fields are attached to a given project, so the rest of the scenario can use them. The name means Search Custom Fields Linked to a Project.

When to use it
before updating a custom field, to find the exact field that belongs to the project in front of you.
Watch out
Make lists it as an action, but the name says search, so expect it may hand back several bundles, and each one runs the following modules once, which adds operations.
SolarMarket8

Pesquisar Campos Customizados da Conta

ActionIn the docs only

You get the full list of custom fields defined across your SolarMarket account, not just one project. The name reads as Search Account Custom Fields.

When to use it
you are designing a scenario and want to know which custom fields exist before deciding what to fill.
Watch out
this is the account-wide view. If the question is about one project, the project-level search next to it is the better pick.
SolarMarket9

Pesquisar Cliente

ActionIn the docs only

Finding an existing client first saves you from duplicates and gives later modules the record to work on. Pesquisar Cliente means Search Client.

When to use it
at the start of any flow that creates or updates clients, to check whether the person is already in SolarMarket.
Watch out
the search may return nothing. Add a filter after it so Criar Cliente only runs when no client came back.
SolarMarket10

Pesquisar Funil

ActionIn the docs only

Your sales funnel becomes data you can reuse in other tools, instead of a screen you check by hand. The name translates to Search Funnel.

When to use it
you want to send funnel information to a reporting sheet or a message for your managers.
Watch out
this looks at funnels in general. To see the funnels a single project belongs to, use Pesquisar Funis Associados a um Projeto.
SolarMarket11

Pesquisar Funis Associados a um Projeto

ActionIn the docs only

Knowing which funnels a project sits in tells the scenario where that deal stands. The name means Search Funnels Linked to a Project.

When to use it
a notification should go out only for projects in a given funnel, and you need to check that first.
Watch out
one project can come back with several funnels, so add a filter or an aggregator if the next step expects a single answer.
SolarMarket12

Pesquisar Projeto

ActionIn the docs only

Pulling up the right project is usually the first move before changing it. Pesquisar Projeto, or Search Project, finds projects so later modules can act on them.

When to use it
an outside event, such as a signed document, must be tied back to its SolarMarket project before Atualizar Projeto runs.
Watch out
a loose search can match more projects than you expect. Run once and read the bundles before you let an update follow it.
SolarMarket13

Pesquisar Proposta Ativa

ActionIn the docs only

The proposal currently in play for a deal becomes available to your scenario. The name means Search Active Proposal: it fetches the proposal currently in force on a project.

When to use it
you want to share the live proposal with an accounting tool or a signature app once the client says yes.
Watch out
the documentation gives no detail on what the module returns, so read the bundle after Run once before mapping it further.
SolarMarket14

Pesquisar Usuários

ActionIn the docs only

With the users of your SolarMarket account in hand, the scenario can route work to the right salesperson. Pesquisar Usuários means Search Users.

When to use it
a new project must be assigned to someone, or a message should reach the owner of a deal.
Watch out
this lists people in your SolarMarket account, not your clients. For customers, Pesquisar Cliente is the module to reach for.

FAQ

SolarMarket and Make: common questions

01Is the SolarMarket Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. SolarMarket is a standard app, so its modules work from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, runs a scheduled scenario at most every 15 minutes, stops each run after 5 minutes and moves up to 512 MB of data. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. You still need your own SolarMarket subscription, which Make does not cover.
02What do you need to connect SolarMarket to Make?
Two things: an active SolarMarket account and its API token. You find the token by clicking your name or profile picture in SolarMarket and choosing Token API. In Make, add a SolarMarket module, click Create a connection, optionally name it, then paste the token. That connection is saved once and every SolarMarket module in your scenarios reuses it, so you never paste the token again for the same account. Naming the connection helps if you link more than one account.
03Can the SolarMarket Make integration react in real time?
Not by itself. SolarMarket has no trigger in Make, which means no module that starts a scenario when something changes in SolarMarket. You start the flow another way. Put a trigger from another app first, for example the form or ad tool where leads appear, or let the scenario run on its schedule, every 15 minutes by default. The SolarMarket modules then do their work each time the scenario runs.
04What if a SolarMarket module is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. It is part of the 14 SolarMarket modules and lets you call any endpoint of the SolarMarket API with the connection you already set up, so you are not stuck with the ready-made list. You do write the request yourself, so check with SolarMarket what each call expects. Also keep in mind that the official Make page for this app is AI-generated, so confirm important details with SolarMarket.
05Should you use Make or n8n for SolarMarket?
It depends on the tool you already run. On Make, SolarMarket comes with 14 modules covering clients, projects, custom fields, funnels, proposals and users, plus an API call module for the rest, and you build everything in a visual editor. Many apps also have an n8n node, so check whether one exists for SolarMarket before deciding. Pick the platform where your other automations already live, since keeping them together is easier to maintain.
