What does the Umbler Talk Make integration do?
The Umbler Talk Make integration lets a Make scenario, the automation you build as a chain of modules, work inside your Umbler Talk account: create or update a contact, open a conversation, tag it, send a message. Every one of its 21 modules is an action, so something else has to start the scenario: another app, or the schedule you set in Make.
Welcome every new lead. A sales team collects leads through a web form. The form app starts the scenario, Criar Contato adds the person to Umbler Talk, and Enviar Mensagem Modelo sends the first message from a saved model, so nobody copies text by hand.
Keep your inbox sorted. Support leads often want conversations labeled by topic. Criar Marcador creates a tag once, then Adicionar ou Excluir Marcador de uma Conversa puts it on the right conversation or takes it off when the case is closed.

How do you connect Umbler Talk to Make?

Copy your API token
In Umbler Talk, open your profile page. The API token is displayed there: copy it. You need an active Umbler Talk account for this, and the token is what lets Make act on your behalf.

Add a module and open the connection
In Make, add any Umbler Talk module to your scenario and click Create a connection. A connection is your Umbler Talk account linked to Make once, then reused by every Umbler Talk module you add later.

Name it and paste the token
The Connection name field is optional, but a clear name helps when you run several accounts. Paste the token you copied, or follow the on-screen instructions, then save. Make can now read your Umbler Talk data.

Click the + on the right of the first module, search for Umbler Talk and pick Criar Contato. Choose your connection, then map the lead details that the first app sends into the fields Make shows you.
