Responses that reach your team. Watch New Responses picks up each answer submitted to a form, and the next module in your scenario can pass it to a spreadsheet, a CRM or a chat tool you already use in Make.

Forms created from another tool. When a new client or project appears elsewhere, Create a Form and Create a Field can prepare a matching form, and Create a Workspace can give that client a separate space. Update a Form changes an existing one when details move.

Anything the list leaves out. Make an API Call reaches the rest of the Yay! Forms API with the same connection, for the cases the 5 other modules do not cover.

How do you connect Yay! Forms to Make?

    Generate your API token

    In Yay! Forms, click your username in the upper right corner, choose Profile, then click Generate API Token in the Integrations section. Copy the token that appears, since Make will ask for it.

    Open the connection window

    In your scenario, add any Yay! Forms module and click Create a connection. A connection is your Yay! Forms account linked to Make once, then reused by every Yay! Forms module you add later.

    Paste the token and save

    Give the connection a clear name in the Connection name field if you like, it is optional. Paste the API token you copied, or follow the instructions shown on screen, and confirm.

Your first scenario with Yay! Forms

    Create the scenario

    Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + to add the first module. Pick the app where your new clients appear, such as your CRM, and its trigger.

    Add Create a Form

    Click the + on the right of that first module, search for Yay! Forms and pick Create a Form. Click Create a connection and paste your API token.

    Map the client data

    Fill the module with data from the first module: the client name, for example, can become part of the form title. Make shows what the previous module returned so you can click it in.

    Add Create a Field

    Click the + again and choose Create a Field. Map the form created by the previous step so the new field lands in the right place, then fill what the module asks for.

    Test with Run once

    Click Run once to run the scenario a single time. Open each module to read the bundles it received; a bundle is one item passed along, here one client and one form.

    Schedule and switch it on

    Open Scheduling on the first module. A new scenario runs every 15 minutes by default, and 15 minutes is also the shortest interval on the Free plan. Then switch the scenario on.

01Is the Yay! Forms Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. Yay! Forms is a standard app, so it works on the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a shortest interval of 15 minutes between scheduled runs, up to 5 minutes per execution, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) bring the interval down to 1 minute, remove the cap on active scenarios and count usage in credits each month. You still need an active Yay! Forms account, whose price is set by Yay! Forms.
02What does the Yay! Forms Make integration need to connect?
You need an active Yay! Forms account and an API token. To get the token, click your username in the upper right corner of Yay! Forms, open Profile, and click Generate API Token in the Integrations section. In Make, add any Yay! Forms module, click Create a connection, optionally name it, and paste the token. That single connection then serves every Yay! Forms module in all your scenarios, so there is nothing else to set up later.
