What you can automate

What does the Yunique Make integration do?

The Yunique Make integration links your Yunique account to Make, a visual tool where you build a scenario (the automation itself, a chain of bricks called modules). Its 16 modules are all actions: they fetch contacts, conversations and call records, or they send and create something in Yunique when another step asks them to.

Reply on WhatsApp without typing. A lead fills in a form in another app, Busca Contato pelo Telefone finds that person in Yunique, and Send a Whatsapp Template sends your approved message. Sales teams get the first touch out while the lead is still warm.

Keep a record of every call. A support manager can pull Busca histórico de ligações em format CSV and drop the file into a shared drive, so the team reviews calls in a spreadsheet instead of inside Yunique.

Feed a dashboard. Métricas de Conversas hands conversation figures to the next module, which can write them into a sheet your manager already reads.

Two limits to know. Yunique has no trigger in Make, so a scenario starts from another app or from a schedule. And Make itself warns that its Yunique documentation is limited, so test each module with Run once before you trust it. The Make troubleshooting guide helps when a run fails, and the Make training covers the editor from scratch. Weighing another tool? Read n8n vs Make.

Connect

How do you connect Yunique to Make?

  1. 01

    Add a Yunique module

In your scenario, click the +, search for Yunique and pick any of its modules. The connection (your Yunique account linked to Make once, then reused by every Yunique module) starts from there: click Create a connection.

  2. 02

    Name it and authorize

Give the connection a name you will recognize later, which is optional but handy with several accounts. Then either approve Make on the Yunique page that opens, or paste the key Yunique gives you, depending on what the window asks for.

  3. 03

    Save and check

Click Save. Make now lists this connection in every Yunique module you add, so you only do this once. Fill a simple lookup module and press Run once to confirm the account answers.

First scenario

Your first scenario with Yunique

GoalWhen a new lead lands in another app, Make finds the contact in Yunique and sends a WhatsApp template.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Since Yunique has no trigger, start with the app where your leads arrive, such as a form or a CRM.

  2. 02

    Find the contact

Click the + on the right of that first module and add Busca Contato pelo Telefone. Choose your Yunique connection, then map the phone number from the previous module into it.

  3. 03

    Send the template

Add Send a Whatsapp Template after the lookup. Fill its fields with data from the two earlier modules; each bundle (one item passed from module to module) carries one lead.

  4. 04

    Test with Run once

Click Run once and create a test lead. Open the bubble above each module to read the bundles it received, and check that the message reached a phone you control.

  5. 05

    Schedule and switch on

Set the clock on the first module: a new scenario runs every 15 minutes by default, and the Free plan cannot go below that. Then switch the scenario on.

Modules

What each Yunique module does

Yunique gives you 16 modules. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Yunique1

Busca Contato pelo ID

ActionIn the docs only

Going by its name, it fetches the Yunique contact behind an ID you already hold, so later modules can use it. The Portuguese name reads "find contact by ID", and Make lists it as an action.

When to use it
another module handed you a contact ID and you need the person's record before writing to a CRM.
Watch out
without the ID there is nothing to look up; pick the phone lookup instead.
Yunique2

Busca Contato pelo Telefone

ActionIn the docs only

Turn a phone number into a Yunique contact, which is usually the first link between a form or CRM and your chat tool. Its name means "find contact by phone".

When to use it
a lead arrives with only a phone number and you want to know whether Yunique already knows them.
Watch out
the doc does not describe the expected number format, so test with Run once on a real number first.
Yunique3

Busca Membros de uma Conversa

ActionIn the docs only

See who took part in a conversation, which helps when a chat moved between agents. The name translates as "find members of a conversation".

When to use it
you log a finished chat in a ticketing app and want the people involved attached to it.
Watch out
a conversation can have several members, so read the bundles in Run once before mapping them.
Yunique4

Busca histórico de conversas em formato CSV

ActionIn the docs only

Export your conversation history as a CSV file that any spreadsheet opens. The Portuguese label means "get conversation history in CSV format".

When to use it
a manager wants chats reviewed outside Yunique, so you send the file to a shared folder.
Watch out
on the Free plan Make handles files up to 5 MB, so check the file size in Run once before you plan anything bigger.
Yunique5

Busca histórico de ligações em format CSV

ActionIn the docs only

Pull your call log out of Yunique as a CSV file, ready for a sheet or an archive. Its name reads "get call history in CSV format".

When to use it
your phone team needs a call report in a spreadsheet tool rather than inside Yunique.
Watch out
this covers calls, not chats; the conversation export is a separate module, so pick the one that matches the report.
Yunique6

Busca histórico de uma ligação

ActionIn the docs only

Zoom in on a single call and bring back its history, one call at a time. The name means "get the history of one call", unlike the CSV export that covers many.

When to use it
a call ended and you want its record copied into the matching CRM deal.
Watch out
you need to know which call you want; this module does not list them for you.
Yunique7

Busca o conteúdo de uma conversa

ActionIn the docs only

Judging by its name, it brings a conversation's content into your scenario, so it can travel to another app. The Portuguese label reads "get the content of a conversation".

When to use it
a closed chat should be pasted into a support ticket or summarized by another module.
Watch out
Make says its Yunique documentation is limited, so check the returned text with Run once before mapping it anywhere important.
Yunique8

Busca um usuário pelo ID

ActionIn the docs only

Find out which Yunique user sits behind an ID, so you know which teammate handled a chat. The name means "find a user by ID".

When to use it
a conversation record shows only the agent's ID and your team wants to know who that agent is.
Watch out
a user here is someone on your team, not a customer; for customers, use a contact lookup.
Yunique9

Busca uma lista de Conversas

ActionIn the docs only

Gather several conversations in one step, so later modules can work through them. Its name translates as "get a list of conversations".

When to use it
a scheduled scenario collects conversations to copy into a sheet or a helpdesk.
Watch out
each module after it may run once per conversation, and every run counts as an operation (one execution Make bills on your plan).
Yunique10

Create a Chat Room - Initiate a chat

ActionIn the docs only

Open a new chat in Yunique from outside, so the conversation starts without an agent clicking anything. This is one of the few modules with an English name.

When to use it
a booking or order in another app should open a conversation with that customer.
Watch out
every run opens a new chat, so run it on a test contact first to avoid duplicate rooms.
Yunique11

Criar uma Atividade

ActionIn the docs only

Add an activity in Yunique, leaving a trace of something that happened elsewhere. The Portuguese name simply means "create an activity".

When to use it
a payment or a signed quote in another tool should appear on the customer's timeline for your agents.
Watch out
Make gives no detail on the fields this module takes, so fill it once by hand and check the result in Yunique.
Yunique12

Make an API Call

ActionIn the docs only

Reach any part of the Yunique API that the other 15 modules skip, while reusing the same connection. It is the fallback when a listed module does not fit.

When to use it
you need a Yunique feature with no dedicated module and you have the API reference at hand.
Watch out
you write the request yourself, so a wrong path or body fails; test it alone with Run once.
Yunique13

Métricas de Conversas

ActionIn the docs only

Collect conversation metrics and pass them on, turning Yunique figures into a report elsewhere. The label means "conversation metrics".

When to use it
a dashboard or a sheet should show chat figures without anyone exporting them by hand.
Watch out
the doc does not say which figures come back, so read the bundle from Run once before building the report around it.
Yunique14

Recebendo Eventos de Chat

ActionIn the docs only

Despite a name that reads "receiving chat events", Make lists this module as an action, not a trigger, so it runs only when an earlier step reaches it.

When to use it
you want chat events inside a scenario that another app or a schedule already starts.
Watch out
do not count on it to start a scenario the moment a chat happens; Make does not type it as instant.
Yunique15

Recebendo Notificações de Ligações

ActionIn the docs only

Bring call notifications into your scenario as it runs. The name means "receiving call notifications", yet Make classes the module as an action.

When to use it
a scheduled scenario should pick up call notices and forward them to a team channel.
Watch out
as an action it will not wake the scenario up by itself; set a schedule or start from another app.
Yunique16

Send a Whatsapp Template

ActionIn the docs only

Send a ready-made WhatsApp template through Yunique, so a customer gets a message the moment your scenario reaches this step.

When to use it
a new lead, an order or a booking in another app deserves a quick, consistent reply.
Watch out
treat each send as final and test on your own number with Run once before switching the scenario on.

FAQ

Yunique and Make: common questions

01Is the Yunique Make integration free?
Yes, Yunique is a standard app in Make, so it works from the Free plan. That plan has limits: 2 active scenarios, at least 15 minutes between two scheduled runs, 5 minutes per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) drop the interval to 1 minute, remove the cap on active scenarios and count usage in credits each month. This page gives no price for Yunique itself; check that with Yunique.
02What do you need to connect Yunique to Make?
A Yunique account and access to its authorization. Make's documentation lists no prerequisite and no official connection steps for Yunique, so the usual Make path applies: add a Yunique module, click Create a connection, optionally name it, approve Make on the Yunique page or paste the key Yunique gives you, then click Save. The connection is then reused by all 16 Yunique modules, so you set it up only once.
03Can Yunique start a Make scenario in real time?
No, not on its own. Yunique has no trigger in Make: all 16 modules are actions, including the two whose names mention receiving events. A scenario therefore starts from another app's trigger, for example a form or a CRM, or from a schedule on the first module. A new scenario runs every 15 minutes by default; paid plans can go down to 1 minute. Make webhooks can also start a scenario when another system calls them.
04What if a Yunique module is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. This module can reach any endpoint of the Yunique API with the same connection, so it covers what the other 15 modules do not. You will need the Yunique API reference to write the request. Keep in mind that Make describes its Yunique documentation as limited, with no official descriptions for the modules, so test each step with Run once and read the bundles before you rely on a scenario.
05Should you use Make or n8n for Yunique?
It depends on criteria, not on a winner. In Make, Yunique offers 16 modules plus Make an API Call, a visual editor and a Free plan to test with. Whether n8n has a node for Yunique is not covered by this guide, so check it before comparing. A fair way to decide is to look at where your other automations already run and which editor your team finds easier to maintain. The comparison page linked above sets the two side by side.
