3Sigma CRM Zapier integrationAutomate 3Sigma CRM with Zapier.
The 3Sigma CRM Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. That single action, Save Lead, files a new lead in your 3Sigma CRM each time another app hands one over. Here is what it costs, how to connect it, and where it breaks.

What the 3Sigma CRM Zapier integration actually does
3Sigma CRM is a CRM built for small businesses and designed to be used from a phone. Connected to Zapier, it does one thing: it receives leads. A Zap (the automation you build on Zapier) starts in another app, then hands the lead to 3Sigma CRM, which saves it in its database without anyone retyping a name or a phone number.
One action means a narrow tool, and that is fine if your problem is narrow. Three typical results, all built on Save Lead:
A lead list that fills itself. Someone adds a row to the sheet your team shares for prospects, and the same person shows up in 3Sigma CRM without a copy and paste. Form replies that become contacts. A contact form on your site starts the Zap, and each reply is saved as a lead your sales rep can call from the mobile app. One CRM fed by several sources. Two or three Zaps, each starting in a different tool, all end on the same Save Lead step, so the CRM becomes the one place where leads arrive.
Now the honest part. Zapier cannot start a Zap from 3Sigma CRM: the app has no trigger, so nothing that happens inside your CRM (a new lead, a status change, a closed deal) can push data out to another tool. It cannot look a lead up either, since there is no search, so Zapier has no way of checking whether the person is already in your database before saving them. And it cannot update or delete a lead. If you need traffic in both directions, the comparisons Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier help you weigh the other platforms on what they can reach, not on hype.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English, once, so the rest reads easily.
- Zap
- The automation itself: one trigger, followed by one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier sits and waits for that event.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Save Lead is one.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills you on: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant trigger
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer for new items. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it everywhere else.
- Connection
- Your 3Sigma CRM account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and every Zap that writes into it.
What it really costs you
Good news first: 3Sigma CRM is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so it works on the free plan.
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Save Lead1 task per lead saved
- Trigger checks0 tasks
The trigger costs nothing, however often Zapier checks for new items. Each time Save Lead goes through, that is one task, and an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month, as many Zaps as you like, and polling every 15 minutes. The catch nobody puts on the pricing page: free Zaps stop at two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
Connect 3Sigma CRM to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your apps page
Sign in to Zapier and go to the Apps page of your account. Click + Add connection, type 3Sigma CRM in the search box of the dialog, and pick it from the list.
- 02
Sign in to 3Sigma CRM
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on the 3Sigma CRM sign-in screen. Use the account whose database should receive the leads, since every Zap built on this connection will write there.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection then appears in your list, and any Zap you build later picks it from a menu instead of asking you to sign in again.
Your first Zap: from a spreadsheet row to a saved lead
GoalEvery new prospect added to the team sheet becomes a lead in 3Sigma CRM, but only when a phone number is there.
- 01
Pick what starts the Zap
Create a Zap and choose the app and the event that start it. 3Sigma CRM has no trigger, so the start lives elsewhere: here, a new row in the sheet where prospects are listed.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real prospect rather than on an empty template.
- 03
Add a filter if you need one
From the plus icon, add a Filter and let only rows with a phone number through. It saves tasks, but it makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Save Lead
Pick 3Sigma CRM as the action app and Save Lead as the event, choose your connection, then map each column of the row to the lead details 3Sigma CRM asks for.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run the action once and open 3Sigma CRM on your phone to see the test lead. When it looks right, publish the Zap to switch it on. Only rows added after that moment will count.
The 3Sigma CRM action
3Sigma CRM gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Save Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Saves a Lead in 3Sigma database, whenever a new lead is created in connected app”
Writes a new lead into your 3Sigma CRM database with the details passed on by the step before it, so the contact is waiting in the app when your rep opens it.
When it breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to 3Sigma CRM, so the failures below are the ones every Zap meets.
None of them is specific to this CRM, yet each one can leave you with missing leads or a drained task count. When a Zap fails in a way you cannot read, our Zapier troubleshooting page walks through the usual checks.
Your old leads stay where they are
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Prospects already sitting in your sheet or form are not sent over; moving that backlog is a separate job.The Zap that feeds itself
If a later step writes back into the very place the trigger watches, the Zap sets itself off again and again and burns through your monthly tasks fast.A bulk import gets held back
When the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back instead of saving them all.Duplicates do not come from the trigger
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so one row never starts the Zap twice. A duplicate lead means the source sent the person twice.
