What the Membroz Zapier integration does for you
The Membroz Zapier integration links your member CRM to the rest of your tools. Membroz reports four events to Zapier on its own (a new member, prospect, appointment or support ticket), and Zapier can create a lead, a member or a sales invoice in Membroz.
A welcome that goes out without anyone pressing send. New Member fires when a member is created. The Zap adds that person to your email tool, so the first message leaves while the signup is still fresh.
Support tickets that reach the team where it talks. New Ticket starts a Zap for every new support ticket. Post it in your team chat and nobody has to keep Membroz open to notice it.
Invoices raised from payments made elsewhere. When your payment tool records a sale, Create Sales Invoice writes the matching invoice in Membroz, and your books stay in one place.
What Zapier doesn't do here. There is no search, so a Zap can't look up an existing member, lead or invoice. There is no update action either: the three actions only create. And Zapier offers nothing to delete or archive in Membroz.

Zapier words, in plain English
Eight words carry this page. Below, each one is used exactly as defined here.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Membroz offers four.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in an app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan is a count of these.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself, the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a check. All four Membroz triggers work this way.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval. Membroz has none of these.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What Membroz costs you in Zapier tasks
A Membroz trigger never costs a task. Only an action that completes is billed: each lead, member or sales invoice created counts as one task, and an action that fails isn't counted.
- Membroz trigger0 tasks
- Create Lead, Create Member or Create Sales Invoice, successful1 task each
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
Membroz isn't a premium app, so it works on the free plan: 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, two steps each. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below is the polling one of Zapier: it does not apply to Membroz, whose four triggers are all instant and fire straight away on any plan. A few apps and actions take more than one task, so read the count after your first test.
Connect Membroz to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open Apps and add a connection
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A dialog with a search box opens: type Membroz and pick it from the list of results.
- 02
Sign in to Membroz
Click Add connection. Membroz opens in a new tab: sign in with the account the Zaps should use. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access to anything you don't own yourself.
- 03
Grant access
Sign in to Membroz in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once; every Membroz step in every Zap then picks it from a list.
Your first Zap: welcome each new member by email
GoalWhen a member is created in Membroz, add them to your email tool, with a filter that lets through only the members you pick.
- 01
Create the Zap on New Member
Create a Zap, pick Membroz as the trigger app and New Member as the event. The connection you set up earlier appears in the account list.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent members of the connected account, so the mapping is done on a real member, not on an empty example.
- 03
Add the filter
From the plus icon, add a filter and fill its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. Use a text rule on text. The filter makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the email step
Pick your email tool and its action to add a subscriber. Map the member details coming from Membroz, checking in the test result which values really arrive.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the action and look for the new subscriber. Then publish the Zap to switch it on. Members created before that moment are not picked up.
The 4 Membroz triggers
4 events start a Zap when something happens in Membroz, and 4 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Appointment
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new appointment is created.”
Starts your Zap each time an appointment is created in Membroz, so a booked slot can reach a calendar, a reminder tool or the person who runs the session.
New Member
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new member is created.”
Fires on every member created in Membroz. It is the natural start for anything that should follow a signup: a welcome, an invoice, a record in another tool.
New Prospect
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new prospect is created.”
Reports each prospect created in Membroz, so the interest someone shows becomes an event your other tools can work with.
New Ticket
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new support ticket is created.”
Catches every new support ticket created in Membroz and hands it to the Zap, so requests don't wait inside the CRM for someone to look.
The 3 Membroz actions
Membroz gives you 3 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a Lead in the system”

Create Member
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a Member in the system”
Creates a member in Membroz, the record your services and engagement are built around.
Create Sales Invoice
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a Sales Invoice in the system.”
Writes a sales invoice in Membroz, so a sale recorded elsewhere also shows up in the system that holds your members.
When a Membroz Zap breaks
Zapier documents no rate limit or error message specific to Membroz. What goes wrong comes from the general rules of Zapier, which apply here like everywhere else.
Four cases to know before switching a Zap on: two about what Zapier picks up, two about what it does with it.
Nothing from before the Zap
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Members created earlier are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and burn through tasks. Keep the trigger and the target apart.Bulk imports held back
A trigger that suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, can be held back by the flood protection of Zapier. Two steps on the free plan
The free plan builds Zaps of one trigger and one action. Adding a filter or a second action to a Membroz Zap needs a paid plan.
