AffiliateFox Zapier integrationAutomate AffiliateFox with Zapier.
The AffiliateFox Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. It watches one thing: a new affiliate joining a company in AffiliateFox. Zapier picks that partner up on its next check and passes them on to your other tools.

What the AffiliateFox Zapier integration actually does
AffiliateFox helps online stores and creators run an affiliate program: tracking the traffic partners send and paying them out. Linked to Zapier, it reports each new affiliate added to a company, so another app can welcome, log or count that partner. AffiliateFox only starts automations here.
Three outcomes come up again and again. A partnerships alert: the person running a skincare brand's affiliate program gets a chat message from New Affiliate Registered whenever someone joins, and can reach out the same day. A partner roster outside the tool: a marketing lead keeps a shared sheet of every new affiliate, so finance and sales see the program grow without logging in. A CRM record per partner: an agency managing several influencer programs creates a contact for each newcomer, ready for onboarding.
What Zapier does not do here is just as clear. AffiliateFox offers no action and no search on Zapier: a Zap cannot add an affiliate, trigger a payout or look anyone up inside AffiliateFox. Data leaves AffiliateFox; nothing goes back in. And because the trigger is checked on a timer, a new partner can wait up to one interval before the Zap reacts.
Which platform fits is a separate call. Weighing another tool? Open n8n vs Zapier. Staying on Zapier and new to it? The Zapier training is the place to begin.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words carry this page. Here they are without the jargon.
- Zap
- The automation you set up on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that kicks off the Zap. With the Zap switched on, Zapier keeps waiting for that event.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- What Zapier bills you for: one action the Zap completes successfully. Your plan counts these and only these.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier at a fixed interval. An instant trigger is pushed by the app itself as soon as the event occurs.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you picked, and halts it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your AffiliateFox account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and every Zap that uses AffiliateFox.
What an AffiliateFox Zap really costs
AffiliateFox is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. What you pay for is what happens after a new affiliate shows up.
- Free plan100 tasks per month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan Zap sizeTwo steps: one trigger, one action
- AffiliateFox triggerPolling, checked every 15 minutes on Free
Every 15 minutes on the free plan, Zapier looks in AffiliateFox for new affiliates, and none of those checks costs a task, nor does the trigger itself. Each action that succeeds counts once; a failed action does not. Three actions in a Zap use three times what one does. On the free plan a Zap stops at two steps, one trigger and one action: a filter, a search or a second action makes it multi-step, and that needs a paid plan. Some apps take more than one task per action.
Connect AffiliateFox to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Go to your connections
In Zapier, open Apps and click + Add connection. You need an AffiliateFox account first, with access to the company whose affiliates you want to follow.
- 02
Find AffiliateFox
Search for AffiliateFox in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the AffiliateFox side, waiting for you to sign in with your AffiliateFox account.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to AffiliateFox in that tab and let Zapier reach the account. The connection then appears in your list, and every AffiliateFox step you build later reuses it.
Your first Zap: new affiliates into Slack
GoalEach new affiliate added to the chosen company triggers a message in the partnerships team's Slack channel.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap in the editor. Pick AffiliateFox as the app and New Affiliate Registered as the event, then choose your AffiliateFox connection.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier returns the three most recent affiliates of the connected account. Choose one so the next steps are mapped on a real partner, not an empty record.
- 03
Add a filter
Insert a filter so only the company you care about gets through. A filter turns this into a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the Slack message
Add the Slack step and map what the trigger test returned into the message text, so the team knows who just joined. Check the preview before moving on.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once and check what came back. Then click Publish: the Zap goes live and Zapier starts checking AffiliateFox on your plan's interval.
The AffiliateFox trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in AffiliateFox. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Affiliate Registered
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new affiliate is added into a particular company”
Whenever a new affiliate is added to one of your companies in AffiliateFox, this starts the Zap with that partner's record, so a chat, a sheet or a CRM can take it from there without anyone copying it over.
When an AffiliateFox Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to AffiliateFox and no app-specific limit is documented. The failures below are the ones any Zap can hit.
A polling trigger fails quietly: the Zap stays on, and partners simply do not reach the other side. Here are the four cases to rule out first, in the order they usually bite. The Zapier troubleshooting guide helps when a Zap stops outright.
Existing affiliates never show up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Partners who joined earlier stay out; moving that list is a separate job.A loop drains the task count
Point the Zap's action back at the same AffiliateFox company it watches and each run sets off the next, eating the month's tasks in a spiral.A bulk import gets held back
Adding dozens of affiliates at once, say after moving a program over, can trip Zapier's flood protection, which holds the batch back rather than firing on all of it.No duplicates, by design
Zapier remembers which affiliates it has already seen on a polling trigger, so the same partner never starts the Zap twice, even across many checks.
