The Agilix Dawn Zapier integration gives you 3 triggers, all instant, 2 actions and 0 searches. Enough to react the second a learner signs up, enrolls or earns a certification, and to create users or enrollments without opening the admin screens.

What the Agilix Dawn Zapier integration actually does
It links your Agilix Dawn learning platform to Zapier, a tool that runs automations between apps without code. Agilix Dawn reports three events to Zapier (a new user, a new enrollment, a new certification), and Zapier can write two things back into it: a user and an enrollment. Everything on this page sits inside that small, precise perimeter.
A certificate that unlocks the next step. A learner finishes a mastery path and New Certification fires. A training coordinator can use that moment to push the learner into the advanced module with Create Enrollment, instead of reading reports and enrolling people by hand.
Accounts created from the sign-up sheet you already run. A continuing-education provider collecting registrations elsewhere can feed each one into Create User. The learner gets an Agilix Dawn account with the verification method you pick, without anyone retyping names and emails.
Enrollment alerts for the people who need them. New Enrollment fires whether the learner enrolled themselves or an administrator did it. That makes it the right starting point for a Zap that warns a mentor, logs the enrollment in a tracking sheet, or opens a coaching follow-up.
What Zapier does not do here: it cannot read your course catalog, look up a user, update or delete anything in Agilix Dawn. There is no search step for this app, so a Zap cannot fetch a learner's ID on its own. That ID has to come from an earlier step, typically a New User trigger. Tools like n8n or Make take a different approach to the same problem; to weigh them, open the n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier comparisons.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier sits and waits for that event.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or creates something for you in an app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One action completed successfully equals one task, and your plan counts those.
- Instant vs polling trigger
- An instant trigger is pushed by the app the moment the event happens. A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Agilix Dawn account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that talks to Agilix Dawn.
What an Agilix Dawn Zap really costs
Agilix Dawn is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The bill depends on actions, never on triggers.
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Trigger cost0 tasks
- Agilix Dawn triggers3 instant, 0 polling
A trigger never costs a task, and neither does waiting for one. Each action that succeeds counts once, so a Zap that creates a user and then an enrollment uses two tasks per run. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and only two-step Zaps: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and it becomes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Since all three Agilix Dawn triggers are instant, the polling grid below never slows them down.
Connect Agilix Dawn to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open the connections page
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need an Agilix Dawn account first, with access to the users and courses the Zap will touch.
- 02
Pick Agilix Dawn
Type Agilix Dawn in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Agilix Dawn side, ready for your login.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Agilix Dawn in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection is then saved and every Agilix Dawn step of every Zap reuses it.
Your first Agilix Dawn Zap: enroll every new learner automatically
GoalEach new Agilix Dawn user from a chosen group gets enrolled in the onboarding course, with no admin clicking.
- 01
Build: start with the trigger
Create a Zap, choose Agilix Dawn as the app and
New Useras the event. Select your connection. It is instant, so no interval applies. - 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent users of the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real person rather than a placeholder.
- 03
Add a filter
Click the plus icon, pick Filter, then set the field to look at, the rule and the value. Only matching users continue. This makes the Zap multi-step, so a paid plan.
- 04
Add Create Enrollment
Add Agilix Dawn with
Create Enrollment. Map the User ID from the trigger, then enter the Course ID of the onboarding course. - 05
Test, then publish
Test the action once and check the enrollment appears in Agilix Dawn. Then click Publish to switch the Zap on. Only users created after that moment are picked up.
Agilix Dawn triggers
3 events start a Zap when something happens in Agilix Dawn, and 3 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Certification
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a learner achieves certification.”
Starts your Zap when a learner earns a certification in Agilix Dawn. It is the natural end-of-path signal: the moment mastery is confirmed, you can hand the learner to the next stage of the program, tell a manager, or record the achievement somewhere your team already looks.
New Enrollment
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new enrollment is created. This can be when a learner self enrolls or when an administrator enrolls a learner.”
Fires each time an enrollment is created, and it does not care who created it. A learner enrolling on their own and an administrator enrolling someone both count. That makes it a reliable single source for anything that should follow a course registration.
New User
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new users is created.”
Kicks off as soon as a new user account exists in Agilix Dawn. It is the only place a Zap can pick up a fresh user ID, which is exactly what Create Enrollment later asks for, so most onboarding Zaps for this app begin here.
Agilix Dawn actions
Agilix Dawn gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Enrollment
ActionIn Zapier“Create a new enrollment for a learner.”
Places an existing learner into a course. The step needs two identifiers: the User ID that Agilix Dawn assigned when the account was created, and the Course ID of the target course.
Create User
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new user.”
Opens an Agilix Dawn account for someone, using the given name, last name and email address you map from an earlier step. You also choose how the person gets verified.
When an Agilix Dawn Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to Agilix Dawn, so the known failure points are the general ones below. They hit this app in very concrete ways.
Most broken Agilix Dawn Zaps come from four situations, all tied to learners, enrollments or filters. Read them before you publish. When something still looks wrong, start from the Zapier troubleshooting page.
The past is never picked up
A Zap reacts only to users, enrollments and certifications created after you publish it. Learners already in Agilix Dawn need a separate one-off migration.Enrollment loop
A Zap triggered by New Enrollment that also runs Create Enrollment fires itself again with each enrollment it creates, and your task count drains quickly.Bulk imports held back
Importing a whole cohort of users at once can return a huge batch to Zapier. Its flood protection may pause those runs instead of processing them all.Wrong rule type in the filter
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Picking the wrong one is why a filter never lets anyone through.
