Aunoa Zapier integrationAutomate Aunoa with Zapier.
The Aunoa Zapier integration has 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. It does one job: another app starts the Zap, and Aunoa sends a WhatsApp template to the person concerned. Nothing in Aunoa can start a Zap on its own.

What the Aunoa Zapier integration is for
Aunoa runs AI chatbots that handle customer conversations, and it can reach out first on WhatsApp with pre-written templates. On Zapier, that outbound side is the whole story: an event in some other tool fires the Zap, and Aunoa sends the template you picked to the right contact, with no one opening a dashboard.
Here is what teams typically get out of it. A booking confirmation: a new appointment lands in your calendar tool and Send Whatsapp Template pushes the confirmation message straight away. A follow-up after a form: someone fills in your contact form, and the template thanking them goes out on WhatsApp instead of sitting in an inbox. An order update: a status changes in your shop, and the customer gets the matching template.
The limits are just as clear. Aunoa offers no trigger on Zapier, so a reply, a new chat or a bot event in Aunoa cannot start anything. There is no search either: a Zap cannot look up a contact or a past conversation in Aunoa before sending. And the action only sends templates. A free-form message, an edit to a template or a change to the bot are all out of reach from Zapier.
If your stack leans elsewhere, the Aunoa Make integration covers the same app on Make, and the Make vs Zapier comparison puts the two platforms side by side.
The Zapier words you will meet here
A handful of terms keep coming back. Each one, in a sentence.
- Zap
- An automation on Zapier: a starting event, then one or more steps that run automatically each time that event happens again.
- Trigger
- The event that starts a Zap. Aunoa has none, so with this app the trigger always comes from another tool you use.
- Action
- The step that does the work once the Zap has started. For Aunoa, the only action is sending a WhatsApp template.
- Task
- What Zapier bills you for: one action that went through. Your monthly allowance is counted in tasks, nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger gets checked at a set interval; an instant one is pushed by its app at once. It depends on your other app.
- Filter
- A step that stops the Zap unless the incoming data matches a rule you set, so the template only goes to the right people.
- Connection
- Your Aunoa account linked to Zapier one time, then picked again by every Zap step that sends through Aunoa.
How much an Aunoa Zap costs to run
Aunoa is open to every Zapier plan, the free one included. Each template that actually goes out is where the count moves.
- Paid plan requiredNo, Free is enough for two steps
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- One template sent1 task
- Adding a filterMulti-step Zap, paid plan
Every successful send is one task. A send that fails is not counted, and the trigger from your other app is free no matter how often Zapier looks for new data. On the free plan you get 100 tasks a month and as many Zaps as you like, each with two steps only: a trigger plus this one action. Put a filter in between, to message only some contacts, and the Zap turns multi-step, which takes a paid plan. If the trigger in front polls, it checks every 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, and 1 on Team or Enterprise.
Link your Aunoa account in three steps
- 01
Start from Apps
Open Apps in your Zapier account and hit + Add connection. You only do this one time; every later Zap that sends through Aunoa reuses that same connection.
- 02
Find Aunoa in the list
In the dialog, search for Aunoa, select it and click Add connection. Zapier then opens a separate tab where Aunoa asks you to identify yourself with your usual login.
- 03
Log in and approve
Sign in with your Aunoa account in that tab and let Zapier access it. If the workspace belongs to someone else, ask for the rights needed to send from it first.
Build a first Zap that sends a WhatsApp template
GoalWhen a new lead arrives in your spreadsheet, send them a welcome template on WhatsApp, but only if a phone number is present.
- 01
Pick the starting event
Create a Zap and choose the app that holds your leads as the trigger. Aunoa cannot start a Zap, so this first step always belongs to another tool.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the trigger test. Zapier pulls the three latest items from that account, so the mapping later on uses a real lead instead of an empty sample.
- 03
Add a filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, and set the rule on the phone field. This makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Set up the Aunoa action
Add Aunoa, choose
Send Whatsapp Template, select your connection, then pick the Template Name and map the contact data from the trigger. - 05
Test, then publish
Send one test and check that the message arrived as expected. Then click Publish: from now on, each lead that passes the filter costs one task.
The Aunoa action
Aunoa gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Send Whatsapp Template
ActionIn Zapier“Sends Whatsapp templates to users”
Pushes one of your ready-made WhatsApp templates from Aunoa to a contact, at the exact moment the event in your other app happens. The customer gets a proper message without anyone on your team typing it.
Where an Aunoa Zap tends to go wrong
Zapier attaches no help article to Aunoa and lists no rate limit for it. What follows are the general traps of any Zap, seen through this app.
When a template does not go out, the cause is usually upstream, in the trigger, or in the Zap design. For anything not covered here, the Zapier troubleshooting page lists the common fixes.
Past contacts get no message
A Zap reacts only to events after it is published. Leads already in your spreadsheet will not receive the template; sending to that backlog is a separate project. The template list is empty
Send Whatsapp Template needs a Template Name. If no template exists in your Aunoa account yet, the field has nothing to offer and the action has no template to send.A bulk import floods the Zap
Import hundreds of rows at once and the trigger returns a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can then hold that batch back before any template goes out.A loop sends the same template
If the Zap also writes back to the sheet its trigger watches, each write can start it again. Every loop burns a task and pings the same customer.
