Launch Cart Zapier integrationAutomate Launch Cart with Zapier.
Launch Cart Zapier integration: 2 triggers, 0 actions, 0 searches. Your Launch Cart store tells Zapier about every new order and every new newsletter signup the moment it happens, and the rest of your tools take it from there. Zapier cannot write anything back into the store.

What the Launch Cart Zapier integration does for a small store
The integration lets a Zap (an automation that runs a set of steps every time something happens in an app) react to what happens in your Launch Cart shop. It works one way only: Launch Cart sends orders and newsletter signups out to other tools, and nothing comes back into the store.
Three results small sellers actually get. An order log you did not type: New Order adds each sale to a spreadsheet or your bookkeeping tool, so the end-of-month reconciliation starts from a complete list. A packing alert for the person who ships: the same trigger can post the order in your team chat or send an email to whoever prepares parcels, before they even open the dashboard. Subscribers who reach your email tool: New Newsletter Subscription passes each signup to the platform that sends your campaigns, so the welcome sequence starts while the visitor still remembers you.
Both triggers are instant. Launch Cart warns Zapier itself, so the polling interval of your plan does not slow anything down, even on the free plan.
What Zapier does not do for Launch Cart. There is no action and no search: a Zap cannot create a product, change stock, update an order status or look up a customer in the store. Everything it does happens in the apps that come after the trigger. If you are weighing platforms, see our Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier comparisons.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every Zapier screen. Here they are in plain language.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run each time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap, like a new order in Launch Cart. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something in another app. Launch Cart offers none of its own.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action the Zap completes successfully. Your plan's monthly allowance counts those and nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself, which is how both Launch Cart triggers work.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when the incoming data meets your rule, for example an order above a set amount.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What it really costs
Launch Cart is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. Zapier bills in tasks, and only completed actions count.
- Launch Cart trigger0 tasks, instant on every plan
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Premium appNo
The Launch Cart trigger never costs a task: an order or a signup reaching Zapier is free. What you pay for is what happens next, one task per successful action in the other apps. Send each order to a sheet and to a chat channel, and every sale uses two tasks. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month, but only two-step Zaps, so that two-action Zap already needs a paid plan. The interval grid below applies to polling triggers in other apps, never to Launch Cart.
Connect Launch Cart to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. All your connections live on this page, so Launch Cart is set up once and reused by every Zap.
- 02
Pick Launch Cart
Type Launch Cart in the search box of the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Launch Cart side to finish linking the two accounts.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to your Launch Cart store in that tab and allow Zapier to access it. Use the account that owns the store, or one with access to its orders and subscribers.
Your first Zap: Launch Cart orders into a fulfillment sheet
GoalEvery new order from the store becomes a row the person who ships can work from.
- 01
Create the Zap and pick Launch Cart
Start a new Zap, choose Launch Cart as the trigger app and
New Orderas the event, then select the connection you set up for your store. - 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent orders of the connected store. Pick a real one, so the fields you map next match what a true order contains.
- 03
Add the sheet action
Add your spreadsheet app as the action, choose the file and the tab, then map the order fields you need into the matching columns of the sheet.
- 04
Test the action
Run the action once and open the sheet to check that the row arrived with the right values in the right columns before going any further.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, each new order reaches the sheet right after it is created, and this two-step Zap stays on the free plan.
Launch Cart triggers in Zapier
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Launch Cart, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Newsletter Subscription
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when there's a new newsletter subscription.”
Starts your Zap each time a visitor signs up to your store's newsletter, and passes that subscriber on to the steps that follow, so your mailing platform or your CRM gets the contact without an export.
New Order
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new order is created.”
Fires as soon as a customer places an order in your Launch Cart store and hands its details to the next steps, which can log it, announce it or pass it to whoever handles shipping.
When the Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Launch Cart and lists no limit specific to it. What goes wrong comes from how Zaps behave in general, and a store feels it on busy days.
Read the four cases below before switching the Zap on, and check its run history whenever an order is missing from the sheet. For repairs, see our Zapier troubleshooting page.
Past orders never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is published. Earlier orders and subscribers stay out, and moving that backlog is a separate job.A big sale gets held back
A flash sale or an import that creates a huge batch at once can trip Zapier's flood protection, and those orders wait instead of flowing through.A filter turns the Zap paid
Keeping only orders above a threshold needs a filter, and a filter makes the Zap multi-step. On the free plan, it cannot be published.Tasks run out mid-month
Each successful action counts on its own. Three actions per order use three tasks, and the 100 of the free plan go fast in a busy week.
