LaunchList Zapier integrationAutomate LaunchList with Zapier.
The LaunchList Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers, 0 actions and no search step. Both triggers are instant: a new waitlist submission or a verified email reaches your other tools the moment it happens, even on the free plan.

What the LaunchList Zapier integration does
LaunchList runs prelaunch waitlist campaigns you can customize, with a referral program built in, so people who sign up can bring in others. Connected to Zapier, it works in one direction only: it tells your other tools when someone joins the list and when someone confirms their email address.
Two triggers, and two results. First, every signup copied where you work: New Submission starts a Zap the moment someone submits your waitlist form, so the entry can land in a spreadsheet, a mailing tool or a team chat. Second, a list of confirmed addresses only: Email Verified fires when a person confirms their email, which lets you send onward only the addresses someone has confirmed.
The detail that matters most: both triggers are instant. LaunchList warns Zapier itself, so the plan interval never delays anything, and the free plan reacts as fast as the paid ones.
What Zapier does not do for LaunchList is just as important. There is no action at all: no Zap can add someone to your waitlist, change an entry or remove one. There is no search step either. LaunchList is always the starting point of the Zap, and the work happens in the other apps you plug in after it. If you are still choosing a tool for this, see our n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier comparisons.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words cover the rest of the page. Explained once here, they come back without a reminder.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan allowance counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself as the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LaunchList account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every LaunchList trigger in every Zap you build.
What a LaunchList Zap really costs
LaunchList is not a premium app: it works from the free plan. Zapier bills in tasks, and only actions that succeed are counted.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Zap length on Free2 steps: one trigger, one action
- Trigger0 task
- LaunchList triggers2 instant, 0 polling
Here, the LaunchList side is free: the trigger never costs a task, however many people sign up. What you pay for is the action that follows in the other app, one task each time it succeeds, and nothing when it fails. A Zap that copies each signup into two different tools uses two tasks per signup. The free plan stops at two steps, one trigger and one action; a second action or a filter makes it a multi-step Zap on a paid plan. The grid below concerns polling triggers only. Both LaunchList triggers are instant, so it never applies.
Connect your LaunchList account in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In Zapier, open Apps and click + Add connection. You need a LaunchList account, plus access to any waitlist you do not own but want one of your Zaps to watch.
- 02
Pick LaunchList
Type LaunchList in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab then opens on the LaunchList side, where you sign in.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to LaunchList in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. The connection is stored once, and every LaunchList trigger of every Zap you build reuses it.
Your first LaunchList Zap
GoalWhen someone joins your waitlist, send the signup to another app, but only when it meets your condition.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, choose LaunchList as the app that starts it and New Submission as the event, then select your LaunchList connection.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent submissions so you work on a real one. No signup yet means nothing to map, so submit one first.
- 03
Add a filter
Add a Filter step from the plus icon and set the field, the rule and the value. Pick a text rule for text and a number rule for numbers, or it never passes.
- 04
Add the action
Add the app that should receive the signup, pick its action and map the LaunchList fields into it. This step is the one that costs a task.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once and read what came back, then click Publish. With a filter this is a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.
The 2 LaunchList triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in LaunchList, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Email Verified
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when user verifies their email.”
Starts the Zap when a person on your waitlist confirms their email address. Only people who went through that confirmation reach the next steps, which keeps unconfirmed addresses out of your other tools.
New Submission
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when there's a new submission.”
Fires each time your LaunchList waitlist receives a new submission. It is the fastest way to see a signup land in your other apps.
When a LaunchList Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article and no rate limit specific to LaunchList. What breaks is what breaks on every Zap, starting with the history.
Check these three cases before you publish. If a Zap already misbehaves, see our Zapier troubleshooting page.
Nothing from before the Zap
A Zap only reacts to signups made after it is switched on. The people already on the waitlist never come through, and moving them is a separate job.A launch day rush held back
A trigger that suddenly sends a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, can be held back by Zapier's flood protection.A filter that never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Pick the wrong type and the signup never gets past the filter.
