LeadLander Zapier integrationAutomate LeadLander with Zapier.
The LeadLander Zapier integration gives you 5 triggers, 0 actions and 0 searches. LeadLander spots the companies and people browsing your site, and Zapier passes each visit on to the rest of your tools, without anyone copying it by hand.

What the LeadLander Zapier integration actually does
It is a bridge that only runs one way. LeadLander watches who lands on your website and puts a name on the visiting company, sometimes on the person. Zapier, the automation service, picks up those visits and hands them to another app you already use. LeadLander starts the work. It never receives anything back.
Three results come up again and again. First, a running list of new companies: New Company Visit fires on a first-time visitor, and each one becomes a row in the tool of your choice. Second, a heads-up when an account comes back: Repeat Company Visit catches a company that has been there before, which is often the moment worth a follow-up. Third, a signal tied to intent: Specific Page Visit watches one URL you pick, and Visit Pages Count waits until a visit has gone through a set number of pages.
Now the part the app page does not spell out. Zapier cannot do anything inside LeadLander. There is no action to create, edit or delete a record there, and no search to look one up. Every Zap built with this integration starts in LeadLander and ends somewhere else. If the plan was to push data into LeadLander, this integration will not do it.
All five triggers work by polling, so nothing here is instant: on the free plan, a visit can sit up to 15 minutes before the Zap sees it. If you are weighing other automation tools for the same job, see our n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier comparisons.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap. Here it is always a LeadLander visit. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in another app here.
- Task
- What Zapier bills you for: one action that completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is a count of these.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer, and Zapier keeps only the new items. An instant one is reported by the app as it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it quietly otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LeadLander account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap and every step that needs LeadLander.
What it really costs
LeadLander is not a premium app, so it works on the free Zapier plan. The bill depends on what happens after the trigger.
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- TriggerCosts nothing
- Each successful actionOne task
The LeadLander trigger never uses a task, however often Zapier checks for new visits. Each action that succeeds counts as one task, and an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps only: one trigger, one action. Add a second action, a filter or a search step and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Nothing in this cost grid depends on LeadLander itself.
Connect LeadLander to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your connections
Log in to Zapier and go to the Apps page of your account. You need a LeadLander account first, with access to the site you want to watch. Then click + Add connection.
- 02
Pick LeadLander
In the dialog that opens, type LeadLander in the search box and select it. Confirm with Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the LeadLander side.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Sign in to LeadLander in that tab, then grant Zapier access to the account. The connection now shows on the Apps page, and every Zap you build can reuse it.
Your first Zap: log every company that reads a key page
GoalEach time a visit reaches the page you chose in LeadLander, a new row lands in your spreadsheet.
- 01
Build the trigger
Create a Zap, pick LeadLander as the app and Specific Page Visit as the event. Choose your connection, then fill in the Page URL of the page you care about.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from your account, so you map the next steps on a real visit rather than a guess.
- 03
Add a filter if needed
From the plus icon, add a Filter step and set the field, the rule and the value. Keep in mind that a filter makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the action
Pick the app that should receive the visit and the action that creates the row. Map the LeadLander fields into it, then test this step once and read what came back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, Zapier checks LeadLander at your plan's interval and only visits that happen after publishing are picked up.
The 5 LeadLander triggers
5 events start a Zap when something happens in LeadLander. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Company Visit
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new company is identified by LeadLander that has not visited before”
Starts the Zap when LeadLander puts a name on a company that has never been on your site before. It is the cleanest way to grow a list of fresh accounts without going back to LeadLander to check who came by.
New Person Visit
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new person is identified visiting the website”
Here the unit is a person, not a company: the Zap runs when LeadLander identifies someone new browsing the website. That makes it the most personal of the five triggers.
Repeat Company Visit
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new company is identified by LeadLander that has visited before”
The mirror of the first trigger. This one waits for a company LeadLander has already seen and fires when it shows up again. A return visit is often the signal that interest is real, which is why this trigger is worth a Zap of its own.
Specific Page Visit
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a specific page is visited on a LeadLander customer's website”
You point it at one page of your site and it reacts only when that page gets viewed. Everything else on the site is ignored, which keeps the Zap focused on the pages that say the most about intent.
Visit Pages Count
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a specified number of pages have been viewed for a visit.”
Instead of a page or a visitor, this trigger counts depth. It fires once a single visit has gone through the number of pages you set, so a quick bounce never reaches your other tools.
When it breaks
Zapier links no help article to LeadLander, and no rate limit specific to the app is documented. What breaks is the general Zapier behavior.
Four situations explain most surprises with this integration. None of them is an error message: the Zap simply does less than you expected. When a Zap still refuses to behave, see our Zapier troubleshooting page.
Past visits are never picked up
A Zap only reacts to visits that happen after you publish it. Everything LeadLander recorded before stays where it is, and moving that backlog is a separate job.A sudden flood gets held back
If a trigger suddenly returns a very large batch at once, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back instead of running the Zap on each of them. The same visit never runs twice
Zapier remembers what it has already seen on a polling trigger. A visit that came through once will not start the Zap again, even if you expected a second run.A filter that never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Pick the wrong type and the filter stops every single visit.
