Leapify Zapier integrationAutomate Leapify with Zapier.
The Leapify Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. One move, then: Create Lead, which drops a new contact into the Leapify CRM whenever something happens in another app. Here is what it does, what it costs and where it breaks.

What the Leapify Zapier integration actually does
Leapify is a CRM for business owners: leads, sales, invoices and calendars in one place. Connected to Zapier, it does exactly one thing: it creates a lead. Something happens in another app, and a new contact appears in Leapify with an email address, a first name and a mobile number, without anyone typing it.
Three results you can get out of that single action. A lead file that fills itself: every new entry on a web form becomes a Leapify lead through Create Lead, so nobody copies contacts by hand at the end of the day. A spreadsheet that turns into a CRM: a new row in a sheet your team already uses becomes a lead, and the sheet stays the place where people paste contacts. A single inbox for every source: several Zaps, each starting from a different app, all end on the same Create Lead step, so Leapify becomes the one list your sales follow-up reads.
Now what Zapier does not do for Leapify, and it matters. There is no trigger: Leapify never starts a Zap, so nothing that happens inside the CRM (a lead won, an invoice paid, a meeting booked) can be pushed to another app this way. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot check whether a contact is already in Leapify before creating it. And there is no update or delete: once a lead exists, Zapier cannot touch it again.
In practice, Leapify on Zapier is an entry door, not a two-way bridge. If the plan is to sync the CRM both ways, the editor will not offer it, and our n8n vs Zapier comparison is a better starting point than forcing it.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Leapify has none, so another app plays this part.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, Create Lead.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant trigger
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer, Zapier asks for new items at a fixed interval. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Leapify account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that uses Leapify, in every Zap you build.
What a Leapify Zap really costs
Leapify is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The bill is counted in tasks, and only one thing in this integration produces them.
- Free plan100 tasks per month, unlimited Zaps
- Premium appNo, Leapify works on the free plan
- Costs a taskEach lead created successfully
- Costs nothingThe trigger, the checks, a failed action
Here is how the count works in practice. The trigger in the other app never costs a task, however often Zapier checks it. Each lead that Create Lead adds successfully counts as one task; a lead that fails to go through is not counted. The catch: the free plan only builds two-step Zaps, one trigger and one action. Add a filter to keep only some contacts, and the Zap becomes a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan.
Connect your Leapify account in three steps
- 01
Open the connections page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps, then click + Add connection. A dialog opens: type Leapify in the search box and pick it from the list. You only do this once, every later Zap reuses it.
- 02
Sign in to Leapify
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on Leapify: sign in with the account that will own the leads. The account has to exist already, and it needs write access to the leads the Zap will create.
- 03
Grant access and check
Allow Zapier to use the account when Leapify asks. Back in Zapier, the connection appears in your list. From then on, any Zap with a Create Lead step can pick it in its account menu.
Your first Zap: every form entry becomes a Leapify lead
GoalA new form entry creates a lead in Leapify, but only when it carries the value you choose.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap from your Zapier account. In the first box, pick the app that receives contacts (your form tool, your sheet) and its event for a new entry. That is the trigger.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent entries of the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real contact rather than an empty one.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon and choose Filter. Set the field to look at, the rule and the value to compare with. This step makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Create Lead
Add an action, choose Leapify, then Create Lead. Pick your connection, then map the email, first name and mobile number from the trigger into the three required boxes.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the action and open Leapify to see the lead it created. If it looks right, click Publish: the Zap is on and reacts to every new entry from now on.
The Leapify action
Leapify gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Create Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a lead in the Leapify CRM”
Adds a fresh contact to the Leapify CRM from whatever reached the Zap: a form entry, a row, a message. The lead shows up with its email, first name and mobile number.
When a Leapify Zap breaks
Zapier publishes no help article and no rate limit specific to Leapify. What breaks is what breaks on every Zap, with a twist from the single-action setup.
Four cases come back most often. Most of them stay hidden while you build the Zap and only appear once it runs on real contacts. When a run fails and the cause is not obvious, start from our Zapier troubleshooting page.
Old contacts are not imported
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. The leads already sitting in your form tool or sheet stay there; moving that backlog is a separate job.The same lead appears twice
Leapify offers no search on Zapier, so the Zap cannot check whether an email already exists. Two entries for the same contact send Create Lead twice, and nothing on the Zapier side merges them.A bulk import gets held back
If the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back instead of creating every lead at once. The action stops on a missing field
Email Address, First Name and Mobile Number are required. An entry that arrives without one of them leaves Create Lead unable to finish, and the run stops there.
