Notiff Zapier integrationAutomate Notiff with Zapier.
The Notiff Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. It does one job: any app Zapier knows can push an alert into your Notiff notification centre, so the events that matter land in one place instead of being spread across inboxes.

What the Notiff Zapier integration does for your alerts
The Notiff Zapier integration lets your other apps send notifications into Notiff, the notification centre that gathers alerts from all your tools. Something happens in a shop, a form or a CRM, and Zapier writes a notification to the Notiff source you choose. It only works in that direction: Notiff receives, it does not start anything.
Three results people build first. A sales feed you actually read: a new payment or order in your shop becomes a Create Notification in a dedicated source, so the team sees revenue as it comes in. Lead alerts without email noise: each new form entry or demo request lands as a notification, next to the rest of your alerts, not buried in an inbox. Ops warnings in one place: a failed job or a support ticket marked urgent in another tool pings the Notiff source your ops team watches.
Each of these uses a different source in Notiff, which is how you keep sales, leads and ops apart.
What the integration does not do: Notiff has no trigger on Zapier, so nothing that happens inside Notiff can start a Zap, and there is no search either. You cannot read, update or close a notification from Zapier, only create one. If you need notifications to flow back out, this is the wrong tool for that half of the job. The Zapier review covers where Zapier shines and where it does not, and Zapier alternatives lists other routes if a one-way link is not enough. Notiff also has a Notiff Make integration page.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on this page. Here they are, in plain terms.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. With Notiff it always comes from another app, since Notiff has none.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: here, the step that writes a notification into Notiff for you.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One action completed successfully is one task, and your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by its app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Notiff account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Notiff step in every Zap you build.
What Notiff on Zapier really costs
Notiff is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. You pay in tasks, and each notification created is one.
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks per month, two-step Zaps
- Cost per notificationOne task when it succeeds
- Notiff triggersNone, the trigger comes from another app
The trigger, in whatever app it lives, never costs a task, and Zapier checking for new events is free too. Each Create Notification that succeeds counts once; one that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger, one action. That is exactly the shape of a basic Notiff Zap. Add a filter or a second action and it becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Since the trigger comes from another app, the interval grid below applies whenever that trigger is a polling one.
Connect your Notiff account to Zapier
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. In the dialog, type Notiff in the search box and pick it from the list of matching apps.
- 02
Sign in to Notiff
Click Add connection. Notiff opens in a new tab: sign in with the account that owns the notification sources your Zaps will write to, so each source ID is within reach.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to use the account. The tab closes and the connection appears in your list, ready for every Notiff step you add to a Zap from now on, without signing in again.
Your first Zap: big payments as Notiff notifications
GoalEach payment received in your shop, once it passes a filter, shows up as a notification in a Notiff source.
- 01
Create the Zap
Click Create, then Zap. The editor opens with an empty trigger card and an action card under it. Nothing runs until you publish.
- 02
Set the trigger in your shop app
Notiff has no trigger, so pick the app where the event happens, here your payment tool, choose the new payment event and connect that account.
- 03
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of that account, so you map the next steps on a real payment instead of a blank sample.
- 04
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter and set the amount field, a number rule and your threshold. The filter makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 05
Add Create Notification
Pick Notiff and
Create Notification, select your connection, paste the Notification source ID and map the payment details into the notification. Test the step. - 06
Publish
Click Publish. The Zap is on, and the next payment that passes the filter appears in your Notiff source, ready for the team to read.
Notiff actions on Zapier
Notiff gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Notification
ActionIn Zapier“Create a Notification in Notiff Interface”
Posts a new notification to a source in your Notiff centre, built from whatever the trigger app sent: a customer name, an amount, a link back to the record. One source per topic keeps sales, support and ops apart.
When the Notiff Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Notiff, so these are the general traps, applied to a notification centre.
With a single action, most failures sit either in the source ID or in the trigger app. The Zapier troubleshooting guide covers the wider list.
Wrong or deleted source ID
Create Notification needs a Notification source ID that exists in Notiff. Delete the source in Notiff and the step has nowhere left to write.Alerts arrive late
Timing depends on the trigger app. A polling trigger is checked every 15 minutes on the free plan, so the notification waits for that check.Past events never show up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Earlier payments or leads are never turned into notifications; backfilling is a separate job.A bulk import floods the Zap
If the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch after an import, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of sending a wave of notifications.
