Overview

What the Lender Launchpad Zapier integration does for you

Lender Launchpad gives mortgage professionals a set of marketing tools. Through Zapier, an automation service, whatever you publish there can travel to your other apps. A Zap (one automation) waits for a new listing, presentation or resource in Lender Launchpad, then hands it to another tool. Set it once, and it keeps working.

An announcement for every new presentation. New Presentation can post a message in your team chat, so colleagues see new material without someone forwarding a link.

A running list of your resources. New Resource adds a line in a spreadsheet each time you publish one, which gives you one place to find everything you have shared.

A feed of new listings. New Listing can pass each listing on to another app. Test it before relying on it: Zapier's own description for this trigger repeats the wording of New Presentation.

Now the part the app page leaves out. On Zapier, Lender Launchpad has no action and no search. A Zap cannot create a listing, publish a presentation or look anything up in the app. Lender Launchpad can start a Zap, it can never be a later step. Every event has to go out from the app; nothing comes back in. If you are weighing other platforms, see our n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier comparisons.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words cover this page. Each one keeps the meaning given here.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for that event and nothing else.
Action
What the Zap does once it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan counts tasks, never triggers.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval that depends on your plan.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself, calling Zapier as soon as the event happens. All 3 Lender Launchpad triggers are instant.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Connection
Your Lender Launchpad account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap and every step that needs it.
Cost

What a Lender Launchpad Zap really costs

Listening to Lender Launchpad is free. Only what your Zap does next counts.

  • Tasks on the free plan100 per month
  • Steps allowed on the free plan2 (one trigger, one action)
  • Premium appNo, works on the free plan
  • Instant triggers3 out of 3

The trigger never uses a task, and an action that fails is not billed. Each action that succeeds counts on its own: a Zap with three actions uses three tasks per new presentation. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but only two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Lender Launchpad is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The interval grid below concerns polling triggers only; it never delays these 3 instant ones.

Connect

Connect Lender Launchpad to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need a Lender Launchpad account first, with access to the content you want the Zap to watch.

  2. 02

    Pick Lender Launchpad

Type Lender Launchpad in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Lender Launchpad side, ready for the sign-in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Log in to Lender Launchpad in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once, and every Lender Launchpad trigger you add later reuses it.

First Zap

Your first Zap: a team message for each new presentation

GoalPost a message in your team chat whenever a presentation is published in Lender Launchpad, only when it matches a condition you set.

  1. 01

    Set the trigger

Create a Zap, choose Lender Launchpad as the app and New Presentation as the event, then select your connection. No required field to fill in here.

  2. 02

    Test on real data

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent presentations of the connected account, so the next steps are mapped on a real one.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Click the plus icon and add Filter. Fill in the field to look at, the rule and the value. A text rule works on text, a number rule on numbers.

  4. 04

    Write the message

Add your team chat as the action and build the message from the presentation fields. This step is the one that costs a task each time it goes through.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each step and read what came back, then click Publish. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.

Triggers

The 3 Lender Launchpad triggers

3 events start a Zap when something happens in Lender Launchpad, and 3 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Listing

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new presentation is published.”

Starts your Zap when a new listing appears in Lender Launchpad, so the listing can be copied, announced or logged in another app.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
every listing you add should show up somewhere your colleagues or your other tools already look.
Watch out
Zapier describes this trigger with the same sentence as New Presentation, so run the test and check that the items it brings back really are listings before you publish the Zap.
2

New Presentation

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new presentation is published.”

Fires as soon as you publish a presentation, handing its details to the next step of the Zap.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a fresh presentation should be shared with your team, or recorded in a list of everything you have sent out.
Watch out
only presentations published after the Zap is switched on are seen; your older ones are never replayed, even on the first run.
3

New Resource

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new resource is published.”

Reacts to every resource you publish in Lender Launchpad, which makes it the starting point for a library kept outside the app.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
you want a spreadsheet or a shared folder index that lists each resource without anyone typing it in.
Watch out
if you publish many resources at once, Zapier's flood protection can hold a large batch back instead of running each one.
When it breaks

When a Lender Launchpad Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Lender Launchpad, so the known weak spots are the general limits, plus one oddity in the trigger descriptions.

Most surprises come with the first real publications. If none of these cases explains what you see, open our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Older content never shows up

A Zap only reacts to what is published after you switch it on. Earlier listings, presentations and resources are not picked up; moving them is a separate job.
  • New Listing returns something unexpected

Zapier's description of New Listing repeats the New Presentation wording. Check the test results to confirm what this trigger actually sends before you publish.
  • A big batch gets held back

After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger that suddenly sends a huge batch can be held back by Zapier's flood protection instead of running every item.
  • The filter is on, the plan is free

A filter or a second action turns the Zap into a multi-step one. The free plan only runs two-step Zaps, so this Zap needs a paid plan.

FAQ

Lender Launchpad and Zapier: common questions

01Is the Lender Launchpad Zapier integration free?
Yes, it works on the free Zapier plan, because Lender Launchpad is not a premium app. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit is the shape of the Zap: one trigger and one action, nothing more. A Zap that posts a message for each new presentation fits. As soon as you add a filter or a second action, the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan. Prices change often, so check the current grid on Zapier before you choose.
02How many tasks does a Lender Launchpad Zap use?
The trigger costs nothing, so receiving a new listing, presentation or resource from Lender Launchpad is free. Each action that completes successfully counts as one task. A Zap that sends one team message per presentation uses one task per presentation; a Zap with three actions uses three. An action that fails is not counted. A few apps and actions take more than one task each, so check your task count once the Zap has been running for a while.
03Are Lender Launchpad triggers real time?
Yes. The 3 Lender Launchpad triggers are instant: the app calls Zapier as soon as a listing, presentation or resource is published, and the Zap starts right away. The polling interval of your plan, 15 minutes on Free, does not apply to them. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt. That means the free plan is not slower than a paid one for these three events.
04What does it take to connect Lender Launchpad to Zapier?
A Lender Launchpad account, plus access to the content you want the Zap to watch. In Zapier, open the Apps page, click Add connection, search for Lender Launchpad, then sign in in the tab that opens and grant access. None of the three triggers asks for a required field, so once the connection works you can pick the event and test it straight away. The connection is reused by every Lender Launchpad Zap you build afterwards.
05Does New Listing really send listings?
It should, but check it yourself. Zapier's official description for New Listing uses the same sentence as New Presentation, which says it fires when a new presentation is published. That may only be a copy error in the description, but the safe move is to run the trigger test, read the three most recent items it brings back, and confirm they are listings before you map them into another app and publish the Zap.
06What if the Lender Launchpad event you need is not on Zapier?
Then the editor has no way to add it. The 3 triggers on this page are the only Lender Launchpad operations Zapier offers: no action and no search. A Zap cannot create content in Lender Launchpad or look anything up there, and the trigger type is set by the app, not by Zapier. If your workflow needs more, the next step is a platform that can work with Lender Launchpad directly, or a manual step in the app.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Lender Launchpad?
It depends on the job. If you only need to react to new listings, presentations and resources and pass them to other tools, Zapier covers it with 3 instant triggers, and the free plan is enough for a two-step Zap. If you need to write into Lender Launchpad, Zapier has no action for that, so look at how other platforms handle the app. Your budget per task, how many steps your workflows need and who will maintain them are the criteria that decide.
