LEVERADE Zapier integrationAutomate LEVERADE with Zapier.
The LEVERADE Zapier integration gives you 4 triggers, 2 actions and 0 searches. Every trigger works by polling, none is instant, and the app runs on the free plan. Below: what each operation does, what it costs you, and where a first Zap usually trips.

What the LEVERADE Zapier integration actually does
LEVERADE handles competitions, registrations and referee assignments for federations. The Zapier integration watches four kinds of records (licenses, profiles, event participants, tournament participants) and passes each new or edited one to another tool. Going the other way, it can read a profile or edit a license.
Three results worth building first. A running license register: New or Updated License sends each fresh or edited license to a spreadsheet, so the office works from one list instead of exports. A roster per event: New or Updated Event Participant pushes every sign-up for an event to the tool your staff already reads. A license kept in step with another system: when something changes elsewhere, Update License writes the new data back onto the license, as long as the Zap knows its ID.
What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. No trigger is instant, so nothing arrives the second it happens; the wait depends on your plan. There is no search step either: Find Profile sits in the action list and needs the profile ID handed to it by an earlier step. And there are only two actions, so most Zaps read from LEVERADE rather than write to it.
If you are still choosing a tool, the n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier comparisons sit on the same site.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in LEVERADE that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for that event and nothing else.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or updates something on your behalf.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. Your plan allowance is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling means Zapier checks the app on a timer for new items. Instant means the app calls Zapier itself. All LEVERADE triggers poll.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LEVERADE account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that touches LEVERADE.
What it really costs you
LEVERADE is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The trigger never costs a task, and neither does each check Zapier runs.
- Free plan100 tasks per month, unlimited Zaps
- Zap size on free2 steps: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo, LEVERADE works on free
Only an action that succeeds is billed: one task per completed action, and an action that fails is not counted. In a Zap with several actions, each success counts on its own, so three actions eat three times what one does. The free plan stops at two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Polling speed then follows the grid below.
Connect LEVERADE to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A dialog opens: type LEVERADE in the search box and pick it from the list of apps that comes up.
- 02
Sign in to LEVERADE
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on LEVERADE: sign in with the account whose data the Zap should read or change. You need an account on the app before you start.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to access the account. The connection is saved once, and every LEVERADE step of every Zap reuses it. Records you do not own need read or write rights on your side first.
Your first Zap: a license register that fills itself
GoalEach new or edited license in LEVERADE adds a row to your spreadsheet, so the office reads one up-to-date list.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, then pick LEVERADE as the app that starts the Zap and New or Updated License as the event. Choose the LEVERADE connection you set up earlier.
- 02
Set the trigger
Pick the Manager and the Season whose licenses you want. Both boxes are required, so the Zap only ever sees licenses inside that pair.
- 03
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent licenses of the account, so you map fields from a real one rather than guessing.
- 04
Add the spreadsheet action
Add your spreadsheet as the action and map the license fields onto its columns. That makes two steps, the ceiling of the free plan.
- 05
Test and publish
Test each step once, read what came back, then click Publish. The Zap is on, and only licenses created or edited from now on will go through.
The 4 LEVERADE triggers
4 events start a Zap when something happens in LEVERADE. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New or Updated License
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new license is created or an existing license is updated.”
Starts the Zap whenever a license appears in LEVERADE or an existing one is edited, and hands the license data to the next step.
New or Updated Profile
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new profile is created or an existing profile is updated.”
Fires on profiles: a person added to LEVERADE, or a profile whose details someone changed. The Zap receives the profile as it stands after the edit.
New or Updated Event Participant
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new event participant is created or an existing event participant is updated.”
Watches the participant list of events. Each new entrant, and each change to an existing entry, becomes one run of the Zap.
New or Updated Tournament Participant
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new tournament participant is created or an existing tournament participant is updated.”
The tournament counterpart of the event trigger: it catches entrants added to a tournament and edits made to their entries.
The 2 LEVERADE actions
LEVERADE gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Find Profile
ActionIn Zapier“Finds a Profile with a given Id”
Despite the name, this sits among the actions: give it a profile ID and it returns that profile for the steps that follow.
Update License
ActionIn Zapier“Updates data of a license”
Writes new data onto a license that already exists in LEVERADE, so a change made elsewhere ends up on the record itself.
When a LEVERADE Zap breaks
Zapier publishes no help article for LEVERADE and no app-specific limit. What trips people up here are the general rules of Zapier.
Four of them hit this app directly. When a Zap misbehaves, start with these before suspecting the connection, and keep the Zapier troubleshooting page at hand.
The past is never picked up
A Zap reacts only to what happens after you publish it. Licenses or participants that existed before are not sent; moving that backlog is a separate job.Update License can loop
A Zap that runs Update License on licenses watched by New or Updated License sets itself off again. Each round costs a task and the count drains fast.A bulk import gets held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the batch rather than run it all.Duplicates are filtered, edits are not
Zapier remembers what a polling trigger has already seen, so the same item does not start the Zap twice. An edit, though, is a new event and runs again.
