LINK Mobility Zapier integration: 0 triggers, 1 action, 0 searches. LINK Mobility sends text messages to mobile phones. On Zapier it does one thing: another app reports an event, and LINK Mobility sends an SMS to one recipient with the content you mapped.

What the LINK Mobility Zapier integration does
With the LINK Mobility Zapier integration, a Zap (one automation you build once on Zapier) sends an SMS through your LINK Mobility account. LINK Mobility has no trigger, the event that starts a Zap, so something in another app always comes first. LINK Mobility then acts as the action: the step that does the work once the Zap runs.
Three things you can get out of it. A text sent to each new contact added to a spreadsheet, with Send SMS pulling the number and the message from the row. An alert on your own phone when an email that matters arrives, with a filter in between so only the right ones go through. And a message built from any other app's event, as long as that app can hand over a phone number and some text, in the + and country code format the recipient field expects.
One prerequisite before anything else: LINK Mobility requires an agreement with LINK Mobility itself. Zapier only uses an account that is already set up; it does not open one for you.
What Zapier does not do here: it cannot react to anything in LINK Mobility, since there is no trigger: nothing that happens on the LINK Mobility side can start a Zap. It cannot look anything up either, and each Send SMS goes to a single recipient. If you are still weighing the tool itself, our Zapier review is the place to start.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words from the editor, in ordinary English.
- Zap
- One automation on Zapier: a trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts a Zap. LINK Mobility has none, so another app always plays that part.
- Action
- The step that does something once the Zap is running. LINK Mobility's only action sends one SMS to one number.
- Task
- What Zapier counts on your plan: one action that completes successfully. An action that fails is not counted.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling: Zapier asks the source app for new items on a timer. Instant: the app tells Zapier the moment something happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived matches your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LINK Mobility account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Send SMS step in any of your Zaps.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action is enough to make one, and it needs a paid plan.
What a LINK Mobility Zap really costs on Zapier
The trigger is free; each SMS that goes through is one Zapier task.
- Trigger0 tasks
- Each SMS sent1 task
- Action that fails0 tasks
- Free plan100 tasks a month, 2 steps per Zap
Zapier bills tasks, and a task is an action that succeeds. Watching a sheet or an inbox for new items costs nothing, however often Zapier looks. A Send SMS that fails is not counted. LINK Mobility is not reserved to paid plans, so it runs on the free plan: 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps. The free plan stops at two steps: new row then SMS fits, but a filter in front of the SMS makes the Zap multi-step, and that needs a paid plan. The grid below only concerns a polling trigger in the app that starts the Zap; LINK Mobility has no trigger, and an instant one skips the grid whatever your plan.
Connect LINK Mobility to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open Apps and add a connection
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A dialog opens with a search box. Your LINK Mobility account and agreement need to exist first: Zapier only links what is already there.
- 02
Pick LINK Mobility
Type LINK Mobility in the search box, select it in the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the LINK Mobility side, and that is where the actual sign-in happens.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to LINK Mobility in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection then shows up in your list, and every Send SMS step of every Zap can reuse it.
Your first Zap: text each new contact in your sheet
GoalEach row added to your spreadsheet sends an SMS to the number it holds, and a second row in another sheet logs what went out.
- 01
Build: start from your sheet
Create a Zap and pick your spreadsheet app as the trigger, with its new-row event. Each row needs at least a phone number in the + and country code format, and the text to send.
- 02
Test the trigger on a real row
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent rows of the connected sheet, so you map fields from a real contact instead of an empty template.
- 03
Add Send SMS
Add Send SMS from LINK Mobility. Set Source to your sender, map the phone column into Destination and the message column into User data.
- 04
Log what was sent
Add a spreadsheet step that writes the number and the message into a separate sheet. This second action makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan; drop it to stay free.
- 05
Test each step, then publish
Test with your own number first and read what came back, then click Publish to switch the Zap on. Only rows added after that moment will send a text.
LINK Mobility action on Zapier
LINK Mobility gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Sends one text message from your LINK Mobility account to one mobile number, with the sender, the recipient and the message content all mapped from earlier steps.
When a LINK Mobility Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to LINK Mobility, so the traps come from how Zapier itself works.
Four cases come back once an SMS step sits at the end of a Zap. None is specific to LINK Mobility, but with text messages each one means people texted twice, or not at all. If a Zap stops for a reason you cannot place, head to Zapier troubleshooting.
Existing contacts get no SMS
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Rows already in your sheet never trigger a text; reaching that backlog is a separate job.The Zap that texts in a loop
If a later step writes into the same sheet the trigger watches, each write can start the Zap again, sending another SMS and burning another task every time.A bulk import gets held back
After an import or a migration, the trigger app can return a huge batch at once. Zapier's flood protection can hold it back rather than text the whole list.No double SMS from a timed check
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers the items it has already seen, so the same row does not start the Zap, or send the text, a second time.
