Overview

Why plug Listings Plus into Zapier

The Listings Plus Zapier integration takes the leads your real estate listing site receives and hands them to the other tools you work in. Listings Plus starts the Zap when a new lead comes in; the apps you add after it decide where that lead goes and what happens next.

Three results are worth building. A contact created in your CRM for every lead, with no copying: New Lead starts the Zap, the CRM step does the rest. An alert for whoever answers, in a chat or an inbox, so a new lead is seen while it is still fresh. And a plain record of every lead in a sheet, handy when you want to look back at what came in.

The best news on this page: New Lead is an instant trigger. Listings Plus tells Zapier the moment a lead arrives, so the Zap runs straight away even on the free plan, with no polling interval to wait for.

Now what Zapier does not do here. Listings Plus has no action and no search on Zapier, so a Zap can pull leads out but cannot write anything back, update a lead or look one up. Leads received before you switch the Zap on never come through. And the free plan stops at two steps: one lead to one place fits, two places or a filter need a paid plan.

Vocabulary

Zapier words in one minute

Seven words come back on this page. Each one, in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Listings Plus has one: a new lead received on your listing site.
Action
The step that does the work once the Zap has started. Listings Plus has none, so yours comes from another app.
Task
What Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is a count of those.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself, the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for Zapier's next check. New Lead is one.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter, a search or a second action makes one, and it needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a Listings Plus Zap really costs

Zapier bills tasks, and a task is one action that succeeds. Listings Plus only has a trigger, and a trigger never costs a task.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
  • Free plan ZapsTwo steps: one trigger, one action
  • Premium appNo, Listings Plus works on the free plan
  • New LeadInstant, whatever the plan

So the bill comes from the apps after it: a CRM contact created for each lead is one task per lead. An action that fails is not counted. Listings Plus is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month but only two-step Zaps. Sending each lead to two places, or adding a filter, makes the Zap multi-step and needs a paid plan. The polling grid below is Zapier's standard one; it does not apply to New Lead, which is instant on every plan.

Connect

Connect your Listings Plus account

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a Listings Plus account first, with access to the site whose leads you want.

  2. 02

    Find Listings Plus

Type Listings Plus in the search box of the dialog that opens, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Listings Plus side for the sign-in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Sign in to Listings Plus in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once, then reused by every Zap that starts from Listings Plus.

First Zap

Your first Listings Plus Zap

GoalCreate a contact in your CRM for every new lead your Listings Plus site receives, as soon as it lands.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap. One trigger and one action fit the free plan. Because New Lead is instant, the contact appears as soon as the lead arrives, on any plan.

  2. 02

    Pick the trigger

Choose Listings Plus and the New Lead event, then select your Listings Plus connection. The editor shows a lightning bolt for this instant trigger.

  3. 03

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map fields on a real lead rather than a blank.

  4. 04

    Add the CRM step

Add your CRM as the action and choose its create-contact event. Map the lead details from the trigger into the contact fields, then test the step once.

  5. 05

    Publish

Check the test contact in your CRM, then click Publish to switch the Zap on. Every new lead from now on becomes a contact.

Triggers

The Listings Plus trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Listings Plus, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Lead

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is received.”

Starts your Zap each time your Listings Plus site receives a new lead, so that person can reach your CRM, your inbox or a sheet without anyone retyping them.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
when leads from your listing site should land where the follow-up really happens, and speed matters even on a free account.
Watch out
leads that came in before the Zap was published are never sent, so the history stays inside Listings Plus.
When it breaks

When a Listings Plus Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Listings Plus, and no limit specific to the app is on record. What breaks is the way every Zap behaves.

These three cases apply to any Zap, and each shows up in a lead flow in its own way. Read them before you publish.

  • Old leads never come through

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads received earlier stay in Listings Plus, and moving them is a separate job.
  • A Zap that feeds itself

If a Zap writes into the very place its own trigger watches, each write sets it off again and the task count drains fast.
  • A sudden batch gets held back

When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back.

FAQ

Listings Plus Zapier integration: your questions

01Is the Listings Plus Zapier integration free?
Yes, on Zapier's side. Listings Plus is not a premium app, so its New Lead trigger runs on the free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The catch is the size of each Zap: the free plan builds two steps, one trigger and one action. A lead sent to your CRM fits. The same lead sent to a CRM and a chat, or a filter that drops some leads, makes the Zap multi-step and needs a paid plan. Your Listings Plus subscription is a separate matter.
02How many Zapier tasks does a Listings Plus lead use?
It depends on what follows, because the trigger costs nothing. New Lead is never billed. Each action after it is one task when it succeeds: a lead turned into a CRM contact costs one task, a lead added to the CRM and then posted to chat costs two. An action that fails is not counted against your plan. Before you build, count how many leads your site gets in a month and set that against the 100 tasks of the free plan.
03Are Listings Plus leads sent in real time?
Yes. New Lead is an instant trigger: Listings Plus tells Zapier the moment a lead arrives, and the Zap starts straight away. That holds on every plan, including the free one, so the polling grid of 15 minutes on Free does not apply here. The type comes from the app itself, not from a Zapier setting. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt, which is a quick way to confirm it.
04What does it take to connect Listings Plus to Zapier?
A Listings Plus account with access to the site whose leads you want. Then open the Apps page in Zapier, click + Add connection, search for Listings Plus and click Add connection. Sign in to Listings Plus in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access. The connection is saved once and every Zap that starts from Listings Plus reuses it. On the receiving side, you also need write access to the CRM, sheet or inbox where the leads are going.
05Why are older Listings Plus leads missing from the CRM?
Because a Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. New Lead sends the leads that arrive once the Zap is published; anything received before that stays inside Listings Plus. Testing the trigger brings back the three most recent items so you can map fields, but that test does not move the backlog. Bringing older leads across is a separate job, done outside the Zap, before or after you publish it.
06What if the Listings Plus operation you need is not in Zapier?
Then it is not offered there today. Zapier lists one Listings Plus operation, the New Lead trigger, with no action and no search. A Zap can take new leads out of Listings Plus, but it cannot write back, change a listing, update a lead or look one up. The practical route is to treat Listings Plus as the source only, and do the follow-up work in the apps that come after the trigger, such as your CRM, a sheet or an inbox.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Listings Plus?
Pick on criteria, not on a ranking. First, coverage: Zapier offers one instant lead trigger for Listings Plus and no action, so check what the other tool lists before switching. Second, timing: on Zapier that trigger is instant on every plan, which is a strong point for a lead flow. Third, cost shape: one lead sent to two places is a multi-step Zap and needs a paid plan, to weigh against how the other tools count their runs. Fourth, where your follow-up tools already live.
