What the Livespace Zapier integration actually does for you
The Livespace Zapier integration links your Livespace account to Zapier, a service that runs automations between apps. Something happens in Livespace, or in another tool, and Zapier writes the next step for you: a company, a person, a deal, a note or a task, without you copying anything by hand.
A follow-up task on every fresh deal. New Deal starts the automation and Create Task puts the next step on the right desk, so no opportunity sits in the pipeline without an owner knowing what comes next.
A clean contact base fed from outside. When a lead lands in another tool, Find a Person checks whether Livespace already knows them, and only then does Create Person add a record. Fewer duplicates, less cleanup later.
A paper trail when a deal moves. Change in Deal Stage and Change in Deal Status let another tool hear about progress, and Add Deal Note keeps the context written on the deal itself.
What Zapier does not do here: none of the six Livespace triggers is instant, so every one of them waits for Zapier's next check. There is no delete action, and no trigger fires when an existing company or person is edited, only when one is added. Anything outside the listed operations goes through API Request (Beta), which is a technical step.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the starting event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for that event and nothing else.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something in an app on your behalf.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those, and only those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer for new items. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets the condition you set, and stops it quietly otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app, so the following steps can reuse what it found.
What a Livespace Zap really costs
Livespace is not a premium app on Zapier, so it works on the free plan. The bill depends on actions, not on how often Zapier looks.
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- BilledEach successful action, never the trigger
- Livespace triggers6, all polling
The trigger never costs a task, and the checks Zapier runs to spot new deals cost nothing either. Each action that succeeds counts once, so a Zap with three actions uses three times what a one-action Zap uses. A failed action is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, a check every 15 minutes and no premium apps. Its quiet limit: two steps only, one trigger and one action. Adding a filter, a search or a second action makes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The grid below is how often a polling trigger is checked on each plan, and all six Livespace triggers are polling.
Connect Livespace to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, open the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A connection is your Livespace account linked once, then reused by every step that touches Livespace.
- 02
Pick Livespace
Type Livespace in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. You need an existing Livespace account, plus access to any record you do not own and want the Zap to change.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
A new tab opens on Livespace. Sign in there and grant Zapier access to the account. Back in Zapier, the connection appears in your list and every Livespace step can pick it.
Your first Livespace Zap: a task for every new deal
GoalEach time a deal is added in Livespace, create a follow-up task so the next step never depends on memory.
- 01
Start the Zap
Create a Zap, pick Livespace as the app that starts it and New Deal as the event. Choose the connection you added earlier.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent deals of the account, so you map the next step on a real one rather than on guesswork.
- 03
Add the action
Add Livespace again as the action app, with Create Task. Fill Task name, which is required, using the deal name from the trigger so each task says which deal it belongs to.
- 04
Test the action
Run the action test once and open Livespace to read the task it created. If the wording looks wrong, fix the mapping now, before anything runs on its own.
- 05
Publish
Publish the Zap to switch it on. From there, deals added later are picked up at each check. Deals that existed before stay as they are.
Livespace triggers: what starts a Zap
6 events start a Zap when something happens in Livespace. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Company
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new company is added.”
Starts your Zap whenever a company record shows up in Livespace, whoever typed it and from wherever. It is the natural entry point when an account must also exist in your invoicing tool or in a shared spreadsheet.
New Person
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new person is added.”
Fires on each contact person added to the CRM, which makes it the hook for anything that greets or registers a new contact elsewhere. The person's details travel to the next step, ready to map.
New Deal
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new deal is added.”
Picks up every deal opened in Livespace and hands it to the following steps. Zapier lists it among the featured triggers of this app, and it makes a natural first Zap.
Change in Deal Stage
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when deal stage is changed.”
Reacts when a deal moves from one stage of your pipeline to another. This is the trigger that turns pipeline progress into work elsewhere, instead of waiting for someone to report it.
Change in Deal Status
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when deal status is changed.”
Fires when the status of a deal changes, as opposed to its stage. Think of it as the outcome signal of your pipeline rather than the progress signal.
New Task
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new task is added.”
Starts the Zap when a task of a chosen type is added in Livespace. You tell it which task type to watch, so one kind of task can be followed without the others getting in the way.
Livespace actions: what a Zap can do in your CRM
Livespace gives you 13 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Livespace searches: find before you create
3 search steps look for data that already exists in Livespace, so a later step can use it.
A search step sits at the bottom of the action event list, under the SEARCH heading. It finds an existing record and hands it to the next steps. Three settings decide what happens when the result is not what you expected.
Find a Company
SearchFind or createIn Zapier“Search for company.”
Looks up a company already stored in Livespace and returns it, ID included, to the steps that follow.
Find a Deal
SearchFind or createIn Zapier“Search for deal.”
Retrieves an existing deal so a later step can note it, edit it or add a product to it.
Find a Person
SearchFind or createIn Zapier“Search for person.”
Finds a contact person who is already in the CRM and passes their record on.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there. Switched on, the Zap carries on without a result.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet?Ticking it turns the search into a find-or-create step: it then asks for the fields needed to create the missing record.
- If multiple search results are found?Keep the first match (the default), stop the Zap, or pass every match on to the next steps.
When a Livespace Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Livespace, so the failures below are the general ones. They still hit CRM Zaps hard.
Most broken Livespace Zaps fall into one of these four cases. When the cause is less obvious, the Zapier troubleshooting page is where to go next.
Old deals never come through
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Deals, people and companies already in Livespace stay where they are; moving that backlog is a separate job.The Zap keeps restarting itself
A Zap that writes where its own trigger looks loops. Create Task under a New Task trigger on the same type is the classic case, and it burns your task count fast.A bulk import gets held back
After a big import into Livespace, a trigger may suddenly return a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can then hold those items back instead of running them all.The same record never runs twice
Zapier remembers what a polling trigger has already seen. An item it has already handled will not start the Zap a second time, which is a feature, not a fault.
