ManyReach Zapier integrationAutomate ManyReach with Zapier.

The ManyReach Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. One action, but a useful one: it drops prospects collected in any other app straight into a ManyReach campaign, with two settings that decide how duplicates are handled.

Overview

What ManyReach and Zapier do together

ManyReach is where agencies and sales teams run their cold email outreach. On Zapier it offers one action and no trigger, so ManyReach can never be the step that starts a Zap. The integration feeds your campaigns: prospects found in another app join a ManyReach campaign without a CSV export in between.

A campaign that fills itself. Add Prospect to Campaign takes an email from the step before and adds that prospect to the campaign you pick. Any app that can start a Zap becomes a source.

A list without double entries. The required Add Only if New setting decides what happens to someone already in your account: set to true, they are skipped; set to false, their record is updated with the new data.

Prospects that stay in one sequence. Add If Not In Any Other Campaign, also required, is the setting to look at when a prospect may already sit in another campaign. Its exact effect is not described on Zapier, so test it with an email that is already in a campaign.

What Zapier does not do here: there is no ManyReach trigger, so nothing that happens inside ManyReach can start a Zap. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot check a prospect before adding them. The two settings above are the only control you get. Before you pick a tool, see our Zapier review; if you also use Make, see our ManyReach Make integration page.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words come back all over this page. Here they are, in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. With ManyReach, it always comes from another app, since ManyReach has none.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or changes something in an app for you.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completed successfully, and your plan counts those.
Polling vs instant
Zapier checks a polling trigger on a timer set by your plan. An instant trigger is reported by its app the moment it happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when the data that arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something that already exists in an app. ManyReach offers none, but the other app of your Zap may.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search makes one, and it needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a ManyReach Zap really costs

Zapier bills completed actions, never triggers. Whatever app starts your Zap, its trigger is free.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
  • BilledEach prospect added successfully
  • Never billedTriggers and failed actions
  • Premium appNo, works on the free plan

Each prospect that Add Prospect to Campaign adds successfully counts as one task. A failed action is not billed. ManyReach is not a premium app, so the free plan accepts it, with 100 tasks a month and unlimited two-step Zaps: a trigger in another app plus this action fits exactly. Add a filter in between and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.

ManyReach has no trigger of its own. The grid below only matters if the app that starts your Zap uses a polling trigger; it does not apply to an instant one.

Connect

Connect your ManyReach account to Zapier

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a ManyReach account, plus access to any campaign you do not own yourself and want the Zap to fill.

  2. 02

    Pick ManyReach

Search for ManyReach in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the ManyReach side so you can sign in with the account that holds your campaigns.

  3. 03

    Grant access

Sign in to ManyReach in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. Every ManyReach step of every Zap then reuses that connection, so you only do this once.

First Zap

Your first Zap: send qualified form entries to a campaign

GoalEach new entry in your form tool that passes a filter becomes a prospect in a ManyReach campaign, with no import file to prepare.

  1. 01

Create the Zap and set the trigger

Start a new Zap and pick your form tool with its new-entry event as the trigger. Test it: Zapier brings back the three most recent entries of the connected account.

  2. 02

    Add the filter

From the + in the editor, add Filter and fill its three boxes: the field, the rule, the value. Use a field the test really returned, and keep text rules for text.

  3. 03

    Add Add Prospect to Campaign

Add ManyReach and choose Add Prospect to Campaign. Pick the campaign in Select Campaign and map the email address from the form entry.

  4. 04

    Decide on duplicates

Set Add Only if New to true to skip people already in your account, or false to update them. Set Add If Not In Any Other Campaign as well, since both are required.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Run each step once and check the test prospect in ManyReach. With a filter, this Zap is multi-step and needs a paid plan. Click Publish to switch it on.

Actions

The ManyReach action in Zapier

ManyReach gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Add Prospect to Campaign

Action

In Zapier“Adds prospect to ManyReach campaign”

Adds one prospect, identified by email, to the ManyReach campaign you select. It is the only operation ManyReach offers on Zapier.

When to use it
feeding a campaign from a form, a sheet or any app that collects email addresses.
Watch out
four fields are required: Select Campaign, Email, Add Only if New and Add If Not In Any Other Campaign. With Add Only if New on true, someone already in your account is left untouched; on false, their data is overwritten with the new values.
When it breaks

When a ManyReach Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to ManyReach, and no limit specific to the app is on record. What breaks is what breaks on any Zap, plus the duplicate settings.

Here are the cases worth checking first. If one of them hits and the cause stays unclear, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Earlier contacts are not added

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Rows or entries that existed before never reach ManyReach; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A prospect is not updated

With Add Only if New on true, a prospect already in your account is skipped, not refreshed. Switch it to false if new data should overwrite the old.
  • A prospect is missing from the campaign

Add If Not In Any Other Campaign is required and its exact effect is not documented. Check how you set it, and test it, before you look for a fault elsewhere.
  • A sudden batch is held back

When the trigger of your other app returns a huge batch at once, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back.

FAQ

ManyReach Zapier integration: frequently asked questions

01Is the ManyReach Zapier integration free?
Yes, on Zapier's side. ManyReach is not a premium app, so the free plan accepts it, with 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. Its shape suits the free plan well: a trigger in another app followed by Add Prospect to Campaign is exactly two steps. The moment you add a filter to keep only some contacts, or a second action, the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan. Decide whether you need that filter before choosing the plan.
02How many tasks does a ManyReach Zap use?
One per prospect added successfully. The trigger in your other app costs nothing, and neither do Zapier's checks of that app. A Zap that adds a hundred prospects in a month uses 100 tasks, the whole free allowance. A failed action is not billed. If many entries are not worth contacting, a filter before the action stops them without spending a task, but it makes the Zap multi-step, so weigh both sides.
03Can ManyReach start a Zap in real time?
No, ManyReach has no trigger on Zapier, so it can never start a Zap at all. The Zap starts in another app, and its speed depends on that app's trigger. If that trigger is instant, the Zap starts right away whatever your plan. If it is polling, Zapier checks at the interval of your plan, 15 minutes on Free down to 1 on Team and Enterprise. The editor shows a lightning bolt on instant triggers.
04What do you need to connect ManyReach to Zapier?
A ManyReach account, plus access to any campaign you do not own yourself and want the Zap to fill. In Zapier, open Apps, click + Add connection, search for ManyReach, click Add connection, then sign in to ManyReach in the tab that opens and grant access. The connection is reused by every ManyReach step. Create at least one campaign first, since Select Campaign is a required field of the only action.
05Does Add Prospect to Campaign create duplicates?
That depends on two required settings, not on luck. Add Only if New set to true adds the prospect only if they are new to your ManyReach account; set to false, it updates an existing prospect with the new data. Add If Not In Any Other Campaign is also required, but its exact effect is not described, so do not rely on its name alone. Set both on purpose for each Zap, and test with an email that already exists in your account to see the result.
06What if the ManyReach operation you need is missing?
ManyReach offers a single operation on Zapier, Add Prospect to Campaign, with no trigger and no search. Anything that would start from ManyReach, read from it or remove a prospect is not available through Zapier today. The workable part is upstream: any app with a trigger can feed the action, and that app's own searches can prepare the data. For the rest, another automation tool or ManyReach itself is the place to look.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for ManyReach?
Decide on criteria, not on a ranking. First, coverage: on Zapier ManyReach has one action and nothing else, so check whether the other tools expose operations your flow needs, such as reacting to ManyReach events. Second, shape: a two-step Zap is free on Zapier, a filtered one is not. Third, volume: one task per prospect adds up quickly on a large list. Compare those three on your real flow. Then decide.
