Minimo Zapier integrationAutomate Minimo with Zapier.
The Minimo Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 3 actions and 0 searches. Minimo never starts a Zap on its own: another app does, then Minimo files the contact, sends an email template or sends a WhatsApp template to a phone number.

What the Minimo Zapier integration actually does
The Minimo Zapier integration lets another app hand work to Minimo. Minimo is a CRM driven by AI that designs and sends emails, messages and forms. On Zapier it only takes orders: a different app reports an event, and Minimo then writes a contact or sends a template.
Three outcomes cover the whole catalog. First, a clean contact list: Create or Update Contact adds a person to Minimo or refreshes the record you already hold, so rows typed elsewhere stop living in two places. Second, an email that leaves on its own: Send Email sends one of your Minimo email templates to an address that another app supplied. Third, a WhatsApp message: Send Whatsapp sends a pre-approved WhatsApp template to a phone number written with its international prefix.
Now the part the app page never spells out. Minimo has no trigger on Zapier, so nothing that happens inside Minimo can start a Zap. It also has no search step, which means a Zap cannot look up a Minimo contact before acting on it. Every Zap you build here starts in another tool, and Minimo sits in the second card or later.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words show up on every Zapier screen. Here they are in plain terms, once each.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts a Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Minimo offers none, so it comes from another app.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. All three Minimo operations are actions.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer for new items. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app, so later steps can reuse it. Minimo has none.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search makes one, and it needs a paid plan.
What a Minimo Zap really costs
Minimo is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The bill counts actions, nothing else.
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited two-step Zaps
- BilledEach successful action, one task
- Not billedThe trigger, checks for new data, failed actions
The trigger of the other app costs nothing, however often Zapier checks it. Each Minimo action that succeeds costs one task, and an action that fails is not counted. Chain Send Email after Create or Update Contact and every run costs two tasks. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps, so that chain, or any filter, needs a paid plan. The interval grid below only concerns the trigger of your other app when it is a polling one: Minimo has no trigger of its own.
Connect Minimo to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need an account on Minimo, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Minimo
Type Minimo in the dialog's search box, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens so you can sign in to the Minimo account that the Zap will act on.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Minimo in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is then reused by every Minimo step of every Zap you build, so you only do this once per account.
Your first Minimo Zap
GoalEach new row in your spreadsheet becomes a Minimo contact, but only the rows that pass your condition.
- 01
Build the trigger
Create a Zap and pick the spreadsheet app with its new-row event as the trigger. Testing it brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map on a real row.
- 02
Add a filter
Click the plus icon and add Filter. Set the field to look at, the rule and the value. A filter makes this a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.
- 03
Add the Minimo action
Add a step, pick Minimo, then Create or Update Contact. Map the columns of the row into the contact fields, starting with the one marked Mandatory Field.
- 04
Test each step
Run each step once and read what came back before going further. If the contact shows up in Minimo as expected, the mapping holds.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, only rows added after this moment will reach Minimo; the rows already in the sheet stay where they are.
Minimo actions on Zapier
Minimo gives you 3 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create or Update Contact
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new contact or updates an existing one in the system accordingly.”
Hand Minimo a person and it either files a new contact or refreshes the one already there, so your CRM keeps a single record per person.
Send Email
ActionIn Zapier“Send an email template to a specific address”
This one fires a Minimo email template at one address, with the subject you set.
Send Whatsapp
ActionIn Zapier“Send an Whatsapp template to a specific number”
Pick a pre-approved WhatsApp template and a phone number, and Minimo sends that template to the number.
When a Minimo Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Minimo, and no limit specific to the app is documented. What breaks comes from Zapier itself.
These four cases apply to every Zap that ends in Minimo. When a run fails, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
The past is not picked up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Contacts already sitting in your other tool are not sent to Minimo; moving them is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
A Zap that writes into the place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your tasks fast. Keep the trigger and the target apart.A big batch held back
After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger that suddenly returns a huge batch can be held back by Zapier's flood protection instead of running through. The same item, once
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same item does not start the Zap twice.
