Overview

What the Mslm Cloud - Email Verify Zapier integration does for you

The Mslm Cloud - Email Verify Zapier integration sends email addresses from your other apps to Email Verify, a service built to tell real addresses from fake or disposable ones. Another app supplies the address, Validate Email checks it, and the next steps of the Zap work with whatever the test shows coming back.

Three results people build. A signup form that keeps junk out of your list: a new submission runs Validate Email, a filter checks a field of the result, picked at the test, and only the addresses that pass reach your email list tool. A result stored next to each lead: a new lead in your CRM goes through the check, and a second action writes the result back where your team can see it. A heads-up for the team: after the check, a filter on the field you pick lets a message through to your team chat so someone looks before sending anything.

What Zapier does not do here: Email Verify has a single action and no trigger, so it never starts a Zap on its own. There is no search step either. The integration checks one address per run: a list already sitting in your tools is never picked up, because a Zap only reacts to what arrives after it is switched on. And every result you act on needs a filter or a second action, which takes you past the free plan.

Vocabulary

Zapier words in one minute

Seven words come back all over this page. Here they are, in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. With Email Verify it always comes from another app, such as a new form entry.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or checks something for you, like Validate Email.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those.
Polling vs instant
Zapier checks a polling trigger on a timer; an instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What an email check really costs on Zapier

Email Verify is not reserved for paid plans: it works on Zapier's free plan. You pay in tasks, and only actions use them.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited two-step Zaps
  • Email Verify on the free planYes, not reserved for paid plans
  • One address checkedOne task when it succeeds
  • Check plus filter or actionMulti-step Zap, paid plan

The trigger in the other app costs nothing. Each Validate Email that succeeds counts as one task; a check that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and builds two-step Zaps only, so trigger plus Validate Email fits. Acting on the result takes a filter or a second action, and either one makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The grid below is how often Zapier checks a polling trigger: it applies to the other app's trigger if that one is polling, never to Email Verify, which has none.

Connect

Connect your Email Verify account in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Email Verify account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that calls it.

  2. 02

Pick Mslm Cloud - Email Verify

Type the app name in the search box of the dialog and select Mslm Cloud - Email Verify in the results. Then click Add connection; a new tab opens where the app asks you to sign in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to Email Verify in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

First Zap

Your first Zap: only verified signups reach your email list

GoalWhen someone signs up through your form, check the address with Email Verify, and add it to your email list only if a field of the result, picked at the test, meets your rule.

  1. 01

Create the Zap and set the trigger

Create a new Zap and pick your form tool as the app that starts it, on its new-submission event. Test it so Zapier brings back recent entries and you map a real one.

  2. 02

    Add Validate Email

Add Mslm Cloud - Email Verify and choose Validate Email. Map the address from the form entry into Email, then select your connection or add it now.

  3. 03

Test the check and read the result

Run the step test and read what came back. Pick the field your filter will look at and note whether it arrives as text or as a number: the filter rule depends on it.

  4. 04

    Add the filter

Add a Filter step from the plus icon and fill the three boxes: that field, the rule, the value. A filter makes the Zap multi-step, so this Zap needs a paid plan.

  5. 05

Add the list step, then publish

Add your email list tool and its add-subscriber action, map the address, test it, then click Publish. Only signups sent after that point are checked.

Actions

The Email Verify action: one check per address

Mslm Cloud - Email Verify gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Validate Email

Action

In Zapier“Validates an email.”

Checks one email address sent by an earlier step. The app is built to tell real addresses from fake or disposable ones; which fields come back, and in what format, you read at the test.

When to use it
addresses reach you through forms, shops or CRMs, and you want to know which ones are worth a message before you send it.
Watch out
Email is required, and the result fields are best read at the test before you build a filter on them.
When it breaks

When an Email Verify Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Email Verify, so the cases below are the general limits of any Zap, read for this app.

  • Your existing list is never checked

A Zap reacts only to what happens after it is published. Addresses already stored in the other app stay unchecked; cleaning that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that keeps restarting

A Zap that writes the result into the place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn through tasks. Write it somewhere the trigger does not watch.
  • A big import held back

When a bulk import or a migration makes the other app's trigger return a huge batch at once, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back rather than check it all.
  • A filter that never passes

Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Pick the wrong one for the field you filter on and nothing ever gets through.

FAQ

Mslm Cloud - Email Verify Zapier integration: frequent questions

01Is the Mslm Cloud - Email Verify Zapier integration free?
Yes. Email Verify is not reserved for paid plans, so it works on Zapier's free plan. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps, each one limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. A Zap where each new form entry runs Validate Email fits inside that. To act on the result, though, you need a filter or a second action, and that turns the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
02How many tasks does an email check use?
One task per Validate Email that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger in the other app. A Zap that checks each new signup uses one task per signup. Add a step that writes the result into your CRM and each signup that reaches it uses two. A check that fails is not counted against your plan. Watching the other app for new entries costs nothing either, however often Zapier looks.
03Does Email Verify work in real time?
Email Verify has no trigger, so the speed of your Zap depends on the trigger of the other app. If that trigger is instant, the other app reports the event to Zapier itself and the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan. If it is a polling trigger, Zapier checks it at the interval of your plan: 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise. The app page of the other tool on Zapier shows which kind it is.
04What does it take to connect Email Verify to Zapier?
An account on Mslm Cloud - Email Verify, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. From the Apps page of your Zapier account, click + Add connection, search for the app, click Add connection, then sign in in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access. The connection is then reused by every Email Verify step in every Zap, so the setup happens once per account.
05Can Email Verify clean a list you already have?
Not through a Zap on its own. A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on, so the addresses already stored in your list or your CRM are never sent to Validate Email. The action checks one address per run, on new entries from the app that starts the Zap. Moving an existing list through it is a separate job, outside what a Zap picks up by itself.
06What if the Email Verify operation you need is missing?
The Zapier editor offers only the operations published for Mslm Cloud - Email Verify, and its page on Zapier shows the current list: today, Validate Email alone. Starting a Zap from an Email Verify event, or reading back an earlier result, is not part of it. If your need goes beyond checking one address per run, it falls outside what this integration offers, whatever the other apps in your Zap can do.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Email Verify?
Decide by criteria, not by brand. On Zapier, Email Verify brings one action and works on the free plan, so a two-step check from a form costs nothing to try. Then look at what you do with the result: sorting or storing it takes a filter or a second action, which means a paid plan on Zapier, and each successful step is billed as a task. For Make or n8n, the first criterion is plain: check whether they offer an Email Verify connector at all.
