MyCRM Leads Zapier integrationAutomate MyCRM Leads with Zapier.
The MyCRM Leads Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. That single action, Create a Lead, writes a new lead into MyCRM. The event that starts the Zap always comes from another app, like a form or a spreadsheet.

What the MyCRM Leads Zapier integration does for you
The MyCRM Leads Zapier integration lets other apps send new leads into MyCRM through Zapier. It has one action, Create a Lead, and no trigger. So a Zap always starts somewhere else, then hands MyCRM the person's first name, last name, email and mobile number.
Three results you can build on that action. Leads straight from a web form: a new form entry starts the Zap and Create a Lead puts the person into MyCRM, with no copy and paste between the two. Leads from a shared sheet: each new row in a spreadsheet becomes a lead, handy when contacts are collected in a sheet first. Leads from a booking: a new booking in your calendar tool creates the matching lead, as long as it carries the four required details.
What Zapier does not do for MyCRM Leads. There is no trigger, so nothing that happens in MyCRM can start a Zap. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot check first whether the person is already in MyCRM. And Create a Lead only creates: it does not update or remove a lead. Every lead it creates needs a first name, a last name, an email and a mobile number; the marketing consent field is the only optional one listed. To see where Zapier stands against another option, see our Make vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier words, in plain English
Seven words come back on this page. Here is each one, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap. MyCRM Leads has none, so it always comes from another app, such as a form or a sheet.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, Create a Lead.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Each lead created counts as one.
- Instant vs polling
- An instant trigger is reported by its app the moment it happens. A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer set by your plan.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a MyCRM Leads Zap really costs
MyCRM Leads is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. You pay for the leads your Zap creates, never for the trigger.
- Trigger (other app)Free, never counted
- Each lead created1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
Each Create a Lead that succeeds counts as one task. If it fails, it is not counted. The trigger in the other app costs nothing, and neither does the waiting. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps of two steps: one trigger, one action. A form entry followed by Create a Lead fits; a filter in between makes it a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan. The grid below only matters if the trigger in the other app is a polling one: it sets how often Zapier checks it.
Connect MyCRM Leads to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A connection is your MyCRM account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that needs it.
- 02
Pick MyCRM Leads
Type MyCRM Leads in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the MyCRM sign-in. You need an account on the app to carry on.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to MyCRM in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. You also need read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
Your first Zap: turn qualifying form entries into leads
GoalEach new form entry that meets your condition becomes a lead in MyCRM.
- 01
Create the Zap and set the trigger
Start a new Zap and pick your form tool and its new-entry event as the trigger, then choose the connection for that tool.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test so Zapier brings back recent entries from the form, and you map the next steps on a real one. Check at test time what each entry holds.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, add Filter, and fill the three boxes: the field, the rule, the value. A filter needs a paid plan, and a text rule only works on text.
- 04
Add Create a Lead
Add MyCRM Leads as the action, pick Create a Lead, choose your connection, then map the form values into First Name, Last Name, Email and Mobile.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step once and read what came back before going further. When it all looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.
The MyCRM Leads action
MyCRM Leads gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create a Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a basic lead”
Adds a basic lead to MyCRM from whatever your trigger brought in, one lead per Zap run.
When a MyCRM Leads Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to MyCRM Leads, so these cases come from the action's required fields and from Zapier's general limits.
Four situations to keep in mind before and after you publish. If one of them shows up, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
A required field has nothing to map
Create a Lead needs First Name, Last Name, Email and Mobile. If your trigger app does not collect one of them, check it at test time before you publish.Older contacts are not sent
The Zap only reacts to what happens in the trigger app after it is switched on. Contacts collected before that are not picked up; moving them is a separate job.A big batch is held back
When the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back. The filter never lets anything through
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Picking the wrong type is why a filter never passes.
