Overview

What the MyWorkerAI Zapier integration does for you

The MyWorkerAI Zapier integration lets three moments in MyWorkerAI start automations in your other tools. MyWorkerAI finds and sorts leads, then opens a tailored conversation with them. Zapier listens for a reply with interest, a campaign change and a new lead, and passes the details on to the next steps of your Zap.

Three results come out of it. A shared list of warm replies: New Interested Lead starts the Zap when a lead answers with interest, and the next step can write that lead into a sheet the whole team reads. A campaign log: Campaign Updated reports changes to a campaign, so each one can become a line or a task somewhere else. A record of new arrivals: New Lead picks up the leads added to the campaign you select and copies them wherever you keep your lead list.

What Zapier does not do here: MyWorkerAI has no action and no search on Zapier. A Zap cannot add a lead, launch a campaign or look anything up inside MyWorkerAI. The app starts Zaps, it never sits in a later step. If writing back matters to you, weigh the options with our n8n vs Zapier comparison before you build.

One detail changes a lot on the free plan: two of the three triggers are instant. New Interested Lead and Campaign Updated start the Zap right away whatever your plan, while New Lead waits for Zapier's next check.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words you will meet in the editor, in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. All three MyWorkerAI operations are triggers.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, here always in another app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number attached to your plan is a count of those.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeps only what it has not seen yet.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports by itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for the next check.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter turns a Zap into one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a MyWorkerAI Zap really costs

On Zapier you pay for actions, never for triggers. Good news for an app like MyWorkerAI, which only ever starts Zaps.

  • Premium appNo, it works on the free plan
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, Zaps of two steps
  • Cost of a trigger0 tasks

A task is counted each time your Zap carries out an action and it works. The trigger costs nothing, and neither does the checking, however often Zapier looks. An action that fails is not counted. In a Zap with three actions, each success counts on its own, so it eats three times more than a one-action Zap. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each one capped at two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action calls for a paid plan. The interval grid below only concerns New Lead: the two instant triggers ignore it.

Connect

Connect MyWorkerAI to Zapier in 3 steps

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, open the Apps page. A connection is your MyWorkerAI account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that needs it. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

  2. 02

    Add the connection

Click + Add connection, type MyWorkerAI in the search box of the dialog and pick it from the results. Then click Add connection: a new browser tab opens on the MyWorkerAI sign-in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

In that tab, sign in to MyWorkerAI with the account whose campaigns you want to follow, then grant Zapier access to it. Back in the editor, the connection can be picked in any Zap that starts from MyWorkerAI.

First Zap

Your first Zap: interested leads in a shared sheet

GoalEach lead who replies with interest, and matches your condition, lands as a new row in the spreadsheet your team reads.

  1. 01

Create the Zap and pick the trigger

Build a new Zap, choose MyWorkerAI as the app that starts it and New Interested Lead as the event. Select the MyWorkerAI connection you set up earlier.

  2. 02

    Set and test the trigger

Fill in the Event Type the trigger asks for, then run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so the next steps are mapped on a real lead.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

From the plus icon, add a Filter step and set its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. A filter makes this a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the spreadsheet action

Add the action in your spreadsheet tool, pick the event that adds a row, and map the values the trigger returned into its columns. Test this step too and read what came back.

  5. 05

    Publish

Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on it reacts to every new interested reply; leads who answered before that moment stay out of the sheet.

Triggers

MyWorkerAI triggers on Zapier

3 events start a Zap when something happens in MyWorkerAI, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Campaign Updated

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when the campaign is updated.”

This one starts your Zap whenever MyWorkerAI reports a change on one of your campaigns, and hands the details of that update to the steps that follow.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
keep a running log of campaign changes in a sheet or a task tool, so the team follows along without opening MyWorkerAI.
Watch out
Event Type is required before the trigger can run; pick it with care and check at the test which updates come back.
2

New Lead

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is added to the selected campaign.”

Every lead added to the campaign you select becomes a fresh run of the Zap, with that lead's details ready to map into the next steps.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one.
When to use it
copy the leads of one campaign into the list or sheet where you follow them up, without exporting anything by hand.
Watch out
Campaign is a required field, so the Zap follows the campaign you pick there, and leads already in it before you publish are not picked up.
3

New Interested Lead

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when some lead replied with interest.”

When a lead replies with interest, this trigger launches your Zap with that lead, so the warm reply can be handled outside MyWorkerAI.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
push positive replies to the people who answer them, in the tool they already watch every day.
Watch out
like Campaign Updated, it wants an Event Type filled in; check at the test that the value you chose returns the replies you expect.
When it breaks

When a MyWorkerAI Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article and no documented limit to MyWorkerAI, so the cases below come from how Zapier itself works.

Four of them are worth knowing before you publish. If a Zap does not behave the way you planned, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • No catch-up on the past

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads and replies that already existed stay out, and moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your task count. Check where each step writes.
  • Flood protection

After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger may suddenly return a huge batch, and Zapier's flood protection can hold that batch back.
  • The same lead never runs twice

On New Lead, the polling trigger, Zapier keeps track of the items it has already seen, so the same lead does not start the Zap twice.

FAQ

MyWorkerAI and Zapier: your questions

01Is the MyWorkerAI Zapier integration free?
Yes. MyWorkerAI is not a premium app, so its three triggers work on the free plan of Zapier. That plan gives you 100 tasks a month and as many Zaps as you like, with one condition: each Zap holds two steps, one trigger and one action. A MyWorkerAI trigger followed by one action in another app fits exactly. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The trigger itself never uses a task.
02How many tasks does a MyWorkerAI Zap use?
Nothing for the trigger. Whether Zapier checks New Lead or an instant trigger fires, no task is counted. Each action that completes successfully counts as one task, so a Zap with a single action spends one task per lead or update it handles, and a Zap with three actions spends three. An action that fails is not counted against your plan. A few apps take more than one task for some actions, so keep an eye on the other app in your Zap.
03Does MyWorkerAI start Zaps in real time?
Two of its three triggers do. Campaign Updated and New Interested Lead are instant: MyWorkerAI tells Zapier when the event happens and the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan. New Lead is a polling trigger: Zapier checks at regular intervals, every 15 minutes on Free, every 2 on Professional and every minute on Team and Enterprise. On the paid plans you can also run a check by hand from the editor. Instant Zaps show a lightning bolt in the editor.
04What does connecting MyWorkerAI to Zapier require?
An account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is made once, from the Apps page of your Zapier account, then reused by every Zap that starts from MyWorkerAI. One thing to plan before you build on New Lead: Campaign is a required field of that trigger, so the Zap always follows one campaign you pick.
05Why can't a Zap add leads to MyWorkerAI?
Because MyWorkerAI offers no action and no search on Zapier, only three triggers. The app can start a Zap, it can never be one of its later steps. In practice data flows one way: out of MyWorkerAI, into a sheet, a task tool or a team chat. Anything that would need Zapier to create a lead, update a campaign or look up a contact inside MyWorkerAI cannot be built with this integration as it stands today.
06What if the MyWorkerAI trigger you need is missing?
Then the editor cannot offer it. The MyWorkerAI page on zapier.com shows the current list of operations, and only those can be picked when you build a Zap. Before giving up, test the three existing triggers and read what each one returns: the information you are after may already travel with Campaign Updated, New Lead or New Interested Lead, and a filter or a later step can then work with it.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for MyWorkerAI?
Decide on criteria rather than on a winner. Coverage first: on Zapier, MyWorkerAI offers three triggers and no action, so compare what each tool offers for this app before you choose. Then the billing model: Zapier counts each successful action as a task and never bills the trigger. Then the shape of your flows: on Zapier, anything beyond one trigger and one action needs a paid plan. Finally, two of the three triggers are instant, so free-plan users are not stuck waiting for a check on those.
