Nedzo Zapier integrationAutomate Nedzo with Zapier.

The Nedzo Zapier integration offers 0 triggers, 8 actions and 2 searches. A Zap that starts in another app can have a Nedzo voice agent place a call, keep contacts current or manage agents and workspaces. Here is what each step does and costs.

Overview

What the Nedzo Zapier integration does for you

Nedzo lets you build and run AI voice agents that take calls and carry conversations for you. Linked to Zapier, it becomes the end of a chain: something happens in another app, and Nedzo places a call, files a contact, or adjusts an agent, without anyone opening it.

A call placed when a lead comes in. Put Make Phone Call after the trigger of your form tool, and the voice agent dials the person who just filled it in. When the call goes out depends on how that form trigger works.

A contact list that stays in step. Create or Update Contact keeps the Nedzo workspace aligned with the tool where your contacts live, and Find Contact pulls a record's details for the steps that follow.

Agents and workspaces handled from elsewhere. Create Workspace, Create Agent and Update Agent let an outside event set up or adjust the voice agents themselves. Three delete actions close the loop, two of them permanent.

What Zapier does not do here: Nedzo has no trigger on Zapier. Nothing that happens inside Nedzo, a call ending or a contact changing, can start a Zap. Every Nedzo Zap starts in another app. For a wider view, see our Zapier review, or our n8n vs Zapier comparison if you are still picking a tool.

Vocabulary

The Zapier words, in one minute

Eight words carry the rest of the page. Each one keeps this meaning from here on.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for it and nothing runs before it.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in an app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a scheduled check.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeping only the ones it has not seen.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something that already exists in an app, so the steps after it can use what it found.
Cost

What a Nedzo Zap really costs

Nedzo is not a premium app, so its actions work from the free plan. The trigger, in your other app, never costs a task: each Nedzo action that succeeds is one task.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps of two steps each
  • Nedzo searchesMake the Zap multi-step, so a paid plan
  • Failed actionNot counted against the plan
  • Premium appNo, available from the free plan

The free plan builds Zaps of two steps, so a trigger plus one Nedzo action fits. A search, a filter or a second action turns it into a multi-step Zap, one that goes beyond one trigger and one action, and that needs a paid plan. A Zap that finds a contact and then calls it counts each successful action on its own. An action that fails is not counted. The interval grid below concerns the trigger of the other app only, when that trigger is a polling one.

Connect

Connect your Nedzo account

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A connection is your Nedzo account linked once, then reused by every step that uses the app.

  2. 02

    Find Nedzo

Type the app name in the dialog, pick Nedzo, then click Add connection. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

A new tab opens on Nedzo. Sign in there, then grant Zapier access to the account. Once the tab closes, the account can be picked in any Nedzo action or search step.

First Zap

Your first Zap: call each new form lead

GoalEach new entry in your form tool becomes a contact in your Nedzo workspace, then the voice agent places a call to that person.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap and pick your form tool as the app that starts it, with its new-entry event. Nedzo has no trigger, so the Zap always starts elsewhere.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent entries, so you map fields from a real one. Read what came back before going further.

  3. 03

    Add the contact

Add Nedzo with Create or Update Contact, pick the workspace and map the form fields. Test the step and read what came back.

  4. 04

    Add the call

Add Make Phone Call as the second action and map what it asks for from the earlier steps. Two actions make this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test the call step, keeping in mind that testing a step runs it once, read the result, then publish the Zap to switch it on. Each entry then costs up to two tasks, one per action that succeeds.

Actions

The 8 Nedzo actions

Nedzo gives you 8 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Agent

Action

In Zapier“Create a new agent within a workspace.”

Sets up a new voice agent inside a workspace you choose, ready to be configured and used for calls.

When to use it
when each new workspace or project should start with its own agent instead of one built by hand.
Watch out
the workspace must already exist, so put Create Workspace earlier in the Zap or pick an existing one.
2

Make Phone Call

Action

In Zapier“Creates an outbound phone call using our voice agent.”

Has a Nedzo voice agent place an outbound phone call, started by whatever event opens your Zap.

When to use it
to call back a new lead, or reach someone whose status just changed in another tool.
Watch out
testing the step runs it once, so the test places a real call.
3

Create Workspace

Action

In Zapier“Creates a workspace in an account.”

Adds a new workspace to your Nedzo account, the container where agents and contacts then live.

When to use it
when an event in another app should come with its own space in Nedzo.
Watch out
the test runs the step once, so it really creates a workspace you may want to remove afterwards.
4

Delete Agent

Action

In Zapier“Delete agent. This action is permanent and can’t be undone.”

Removes a voice agent for good: Nedzo states this deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

When to use it
when retiring a project elsewhere should also retire the agent that served it.
Watch out
pair it with Find Agent and a filter, so a wrong match never wipes the wrong agent.
5

Delete Contact

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a contact from your workspace.”

Removes a contact from your Nedzo workspace.

When to use it
when a person asks to be removed in another tool and Nedzo should follow.
Watch out
identify the contact first with Find Contact, so the step deletes the person you meant and nobody else.
6

Delete Workspace

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a workspace. This action is permanent and can’t be undone.”

Deletes a whole workspace, and like Delete Agent this cannot be undone.

When to use it
rarely, when a client or project closed in another tool should leave no trace in Nedzo.
Watch out
testing the step runs it once, so the test really deletes a workspace.
7

Update Agent

Action

In Zapier“Updates an agent within a workspace.”

Changes an existing voice agent within a workspace, using values brought by earlier steps.

When to use it
when a change made in another tool should reach the agent without someone editing it in Nedzo.
Watch out
the Zap must point at the right agent, so place Find Agent before it when the trigger does not carry the agent itself.
8

Create or Update Contact

Action

In Zapier“Creates or updates a contact in a workspace.”

Writes a contact into a workspace: it creates the person if needed, or updates the existing record.

When to use it
to keep Nedzo's contacts in step with the tool where your contacts are first entered.
Watch out
it is a single action, so each successful run counts as one task, whether it created the contact or updated it.
Searches

The 2 Nedzo searches

2 search steps look for data that already exists in Nedzo, so a later step can use it.

A search step finds an agent or a contact that already exists in Nedzo and hands its details to the next steps. In the editor, Nedzo's searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. Whether a search wants the exact value or something close is decided by Nedzo, not by Zapier.

1

Find Agent

Search

In Zapier“Find and get an agent details.”

Looks up an existing voice agent and returns its details, so a later step can act on that exact agent.

When to use it
right before Update Agent or Delete Agent, when the earlier steps do not point at the agent directly.
Watch out
a search makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
2

Find Contact

Search

In Zapier“Gets a contact and all its information.”

Retrieves a contact with all its information, ready for the steps that follow to use.

When to use it
before Delete Contact, or before a call, to make sure the Zap works on the person already in Nedzo.
Watch out
decide what happens when nothing is found, with the setting above, before you publish.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there and the steps that depend on it are skipped. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
Ticking this box turns a search into a find-or-create. Nedzo exposes no find-or-create variant on Zapier, so you will not see this box on its two searches.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out when several items match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or hand all of them on at once.
When it breaks

When a Nedzo Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Nedzo, so the cases below come from how every Zap behaves, plus the permanent deletions this app offers.

Keep these four cases in mind before you publish. When something does go wrong, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • The backlog stays out

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads or contacts that existed before never reach Nedzo through it; moving them is a separate job.
  • Deletions are final

Delete Agent and Delete Workspace cannot be undone. A wrong match in an earlier step removes the wrong item, with no way back from Zapier.
  • A search that finds nothing

On its default setting, a Find Contact or Find Agent that comes back empty stops the Zap, and the steps after it are skipped.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your task count fast.

FAQ

Nedzo and Zapier: common questions

01Is the Nedzo Zapier integration free?
Partly. Nedzo is not a premium app, so a Zap made of another app's trigger and one Nedzo action runs on the free plan, which gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps of two steps each. The two Nedzo searches are another story: a search makes the Zap multi-step, and so does a filter or a second action, and multi-step Zaps need a paid plan. The first Zap on this page, contact then call, is one of those. No price is quoted here, since plan grids change too often.
02How many tasks does a Nedzo Zap use?
One task for each Nedzo action that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger in your other app. The form-to-call Zap on this page uses two tasks per entry: one for Create or Update Contact, one for Make Phone Call. An action that fails is not counted against your plan, and waiting for new entries costs nothing. To size your plan, multiply the number of events you expect by the number of successful actions in the Zap.
03Can a Nedzo Zap start in real time?
Nedzo itself cannot start a Zap: it has no trigger on Zapier. The Zap starts in another app, and its speed depends on that trigger. If it is an instant trigger, the app tells Zapier the moment the event happens, whatever your plan. If it is a polling trigger, Zapier checks on a timer, every 15 minutes on the free plan, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise. A lightning bolt in the editor shows an instant trigger.
04What do you need to connect a Nedzo account?
An account on Nedzo, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is made once from the Apps page of Zapier with + Add connection: you pick Nedzo, sign in to it in the tab that opens, then grant Zapier access. Every Nedzo action and search then reuses that connection. Since Nedzo has no trigger, you also need an account on the app that will start the Zap.
05Can a Zap undo a Nedzo deletion?
No. Delete Agent and Delete Workspace are permanent, and Nedzo says they cannot be undone, so a Zap has no way to bring the item back. Delete Contact removes a contact from the workspace in the same direct way. The safe pattern is to identify the item first with Find Agent or Find Contact, add a filter that checks what was found, and only then delete. Keep in mind that testing a step runs it once, so a test of a delete step really deletes.
06What if the Nedzo operation you need is not there?
Then this integration cannot do it, and no setting will add it. The current list is the one shown on the Nedzo page of Zapier: today, eight actions and two searches, and no trigger. Starting a Zap from something that happens inside Nedzo, a finished call for instance, has no step here. The honest options are to start the Zap from the other app in the chain, or to look at a different automation tool for that part.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Nedzo?
It depends on the job. If Nedzo is the last link, a lead arrives somewhere and the voice agent calls, Zapier covers it with Make Phone Call and the contact actions. If you need a find step before most actions, remember each search makes the Zap multi-step and Zapier bills every successful action, so compare how each tool counts usage. If you need Nedzo events to start a flow, check whether the other tools offer a Nedzo trigger. No tool wins on every criterion.
