NeverBounce Zapier integrationAutomate NeverBounce with Zapier.
NeverBounce on Zapier has 0 triggers, 1 action and no search. This NeverBounce Zapier integration checks an email address each time another tool hands one over, so a form, a spreadsheet or a CRM can pass every new address through verification first.

What the NeverBounce Zapier integration does for you
NeverBounce is an email verification service: it checks addresses so your sending stays deliverable and within strict deliverability guidelines. On Zapier it is one action inside a Zap, the automation you build there: a trigger in some app starts it, then actions run for you, and one of them can be NeverBounce.
Three results are within reach. A clean signup flow: a form answer arrives, Verify Email Address checks the address, and only then does the contact move on to your mailing tool. A checked import: each new row of a spreadsheet gets its address verified before anyone writes to it. A heads-up in your chat: a new contact in your CRM is checked, and the result lands in a chat message so nobody writes to an address blindly.
The catch sits in the structure. NeverBounce has no trigger on Zapier, so it never starts a Zap: the first step always belongs to another app, and how fast the Zap reacts depends on that app's trigger, not on NeverBounce.
What Zapier does not do here: the action checks one address per run, and its field does not accept several addresses at once. There is no search and no bulk list job, so cleaning an existing list is not something this integration does for you.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words come back on this page. Here they are, kept short.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. NeverBounce has none, so a form, a sheet or a CRM plays that role.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or checks something for you, like verifying an address.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan is a count of those.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeps only the unseen ones.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself, calling Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for the next check.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a NeverBounce Zap really costs
NeverBounce is not a premium app: it works from the free plan. You pay in tasks, one per action that succeeds.
- Trigger of the other appNever costs a task
- Successful verification1 task
- Failed actionNot counted
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
The trigger of the other app never costs a task. Each successful verification counts as one task; one that fails is not counted. A Zap that verifies and then adds the contact somewhere is two actions, so two tasks per address, and it needs a paid plan, because the free plan stops at two steps. The interval grid below does not concern NeverBounce, which has no trigger: it only applies if the app that starts your Zap uses a polling trigger.
Connect your NeverBounce account in 3 steps
- 01
Add the connection from Apps
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. Search for NeverBounce in the dialog, pick it, then confirm with Add connection.
- 02
Sign in to NeverBounce
Sign in to NeverBounce in the tab that opens. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 03
Grant access, then reuse it
Grant Zapier access to the account. The connection (your NeverBounce account linked once) is then reused by every NeverBounce step, in this Zap and in the next ones.
Your first Zap: verify signups before they reach your mailing tool
GoalCheck the email address of each new form answer and add only the addresses that pass your rule to your mailing tool.
- 01
Build: start from your form
Create a Zap and choose your form tool as the app that starts it, with its new-answer event. Test it and pick a real answer that carries an email address.
- 02
Add Verify Email Address
Add NeverBounce as the action, choose Verify Email Address and your connection, then map the email field of the form into Email Address to Verify.
- 03
Read the result at test
Run the step test and read what NeverBounce returns for that address. Those returned values are what the next step can use.
- 04
Add the filter (paid plan)
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, then set the field to look at, the rule and the value, using a value returned at test. A Zap with a filter is multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 05
Add the subscriber, test, publish
Add your mailing tool and map the verified address. Run each step once, read what came back, then publish the Zap: each run costs one task per action that succeeds.
The NeverBounce action
NeverBounce gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Verify Email Address
ActionIn Zapier“Verifies an email address.”
Sends one email address to NeverBounce and brings back the result of the check, so the steps that follow can decide what to do with the contact.
When a NeverBounce Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to NeverBounce. The cases below are Zapier's general limits plus the one rule the NeverBounce field states.
Read them before you publish. If a run still does something you did not expect, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Several addresses in one field
Email Address to Verify does not support multiple addresses. If the earlier step passes a list, the action cannot verify it as such.No catch-up on old contacts
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Addresses collected before that are not picked up; checking them is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
As a general precaution: a Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again and burn through your tasks.Flood protection on big batches
If the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.
