Overview

What the OmniPUSH Zapier integration actually does

OmniPUSH is a CRM built for salespeople who prospect remotely. Linking it to Zapier, the automation service, means the two moments that matter in outreach, a new connection and a reply to an accepted invite, can set off work in your other tools without anyone watching the OmniPUSH screen.

Three results that come straight out of the real operations.

No reply left unread. Reply Received pushes each answer into your team chat, so whoever owns the account can pick it up while the conversation is warm.

A clean log of every new connection. New Connection adds a line to the sheet your sales manager uses to follow outreach, with no export to run by hand.

Report figures where your team already works. Import Latest Report brings the latest version of a report you pick into the Zap, so a later step can share it.

Both triggers are instant, so the waiting time tied to your Zapier plan never applies to them, even on Free.

What Zapier does not do here: it cannot send an invite, write a message or update a contact in OmniPUSH, and there is no search to look up an existing record. Outreach itself stays in OmniPUSH; Zapier carries its results elsewhere.

One naming trap: New Connection is about connections inside OmniPUSH, not the Zapier connection described below. If you are weighing other tools, see Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier.

Vocabulary

The Zapier words you need, in plain English

Eight words cover everything on this page. After this list, each one is used exactly as defined.

Zap
The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger that starts it, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap, such as a new reply in OmniPUSH. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in OmniPUSH or another app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action completed successfully. The monthly allowance on your plan is a count of those, nothing else.
Polling vs instant
Polling: Zapier checks the app on a timer. Instant: the app tells Zapier itself when the event happens. Both OmniPUSH triggers are instant.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise. It needs a paid plan.
Connection (in Zapier)
Your OmniPUSH account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that uses it. Not the same thing as a connection inside OmniPUSH.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search makes it one, and it then requires a paid plan.
Cost

What an OmniPUSH Zap really costs

The trigger never costs a task. A new connection or a reply arriving from OmniPUSH is free; what gets billed is each action that then succeeds, including Import Latest Report.

  • TriggerFree, never counted
  • Billed per run1 task per action that succeeds
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Reserved for paid plansNo, OmniPUSH works on Free
  • Integration version readOmniPushCLIAPI@1.1.0, October 2026

An action that fails is not counted. OmniPUSH is not reserved for paid plans, so it works on Free: 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, limited to two steps, one trigger and one action. A second action, like posting in chat and logging in a sheet, makes the Zap multi-step and paid, and doubles the tasks per run. The interval grid below only concerns polling triggers; OmniPUSH has none, so your plan never slows its triggers down.

Connect

Connect OmniPUSH to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the connection dialog

In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need an OmniPUSH account beforehand: Zapier links to an existing one, it never creates it.

  2. 02

    Find OmniPUSH and confirm

Type OmniPUSH in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the OmniPUSH side so you can sign in there.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Log in to OmniPUSH in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection then appears on your Apps page, and every Zap that uses OmniPUSH reuses it.

First Zap

Your first Zap: every reply logged and announced

GoalEach reply to an accepted invite in OmniPUSH adds a row to your outreach sheet and is announced in the sales channel.

  1. 01

    Pick the trigger

Start building the Zap with OmniPUSH as the starting app and Reply Received as the event. It needs no setting of its own before the test.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent replies from the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real one rather than a guess.

  3. 03

    Add the sheet row

Pick your spreadsheet as the first action and place what the reply brought into the right columns. That row costs one task.

  4. 04

    Add the chat message

Add a second action that posts in your sales channel. The Zap is now multi-step, so it needs a paid plan and costs two tasks per reply.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test both actions and check the row and the message. When they look right, click Publish to switch the Zap on. Earlier replies are not picked up.

Triggers

The 2 OmniPUSH triggers on Zapier

2 events start a Zap when something happens in OmniPUSH, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Connection

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new connection is added.”

Starts your Zap each time a new connection is added in OmniPUSH. It turns the first step of your outreach into an event your other tools can track.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a sales lead who wants every new contact in a shared sheet the team reviews together.
Watch out
this connection belongs to OmniPUSH, not to Zapier; it has nothing to do with linking your account.
2

Reply Received

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a reply received from accepted invite.”

Goes off when a reply comes in from someone who accepted your invite. This is the moment a prospect starts talking, which is usually when speed counts most.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
alerting the account owner in chat so the answer gets a human follow-up quickly.
Watch out
only replies tied to an accepted invite count, so other messages in OmniPUSH will not start this Zap.
Actions

The OmniPUSH action on Zapier

OmniPUSH gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Import Latest Report

Action

In Zapier“Import latest report for the given report id.”

Fetches the most recent version of an OmniPUSH report, identified by its report id, so the following steps of your Zap can share or store what it holds. Zapier highlights it on the app page.

When to use it
putting fresh outreach figures in front of a manager without anyone opening OmniPUSH.
Watch out
each import is a task, and the report id has to match a report that exists in your account.
When it breaks

When an OmniPUSH Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article and no rate limit to OmniPUSH, so the cases below are the ones every Zap shares, applied to outreach. For deeper diagnosis there is Zapier troubleshooting.

The trigger side is solid because both triggers are instant. Problems come from history, loops and sudden batches.

  • No catching up on old replies

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Replies and connections from last month stay in OmniPUSH; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that feeds its own trigger

A Zap that writes into the very place its trigger watches sets itself off again and again, burning tasks. Keep what the Zap writes away from what starts it.
  • Big batches can be held back

If a large import suddenly produces a flood of new connections, Zapier's flood protection can hold the batch back instead of running the Zap for each one.
  • Two Zaps on the same reply

Two Zaps built on Reply Received both run for every reply, and each bills its own actions. Merge them into one if they do related work.

FAQ

OmniPUSH and Zapier: the questions people ask

01Is the OmniPUSH Zapier integration free?
Yes, on the Free plan. OmniPUSH is not one of the apps Zapier reserves for paid plans, so a two-step Zap, one OmniPUSH trigger and one action, runs without paying. The Free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit appears the moment you want more than two steps: a filter, a second action or a search makes the Zap multi-step, and multi-step Zaps need a paid plan. No price is quoted here, since Zapier changes its grids too often for a number to stay right.
02How many tasks does an OmniPUSH Zap use?
One per successful action, nothing for the trigger. A new connection or a reply arriving from OmniPUSH costs nothing. If the Zap then posts a message, that is one task; if it also adds a row to a sheet, that is a second task for the same run. Import Latest Report counts like any action, once per import that succeeds. An action that fails is not counted. Outreach at volume can produce a lot of replies, so keep an eye on the 100 tasks of the Free plan.
03Does OmniPUSH send replies to Zapier in real time?
Yes. Both OmniPUSH triggers, New Connection and Reply Received, are instant: OmniPUSH tells Zapier itself when the event happens, and the Zap starts straight away. The interval grid of the Zapier plans only applies to polling triggers, so it does not slow OmniPUSH down, even on Free. The editor shows a lightning bolt on a Zap built on an instant trigger, which is an easy way to check. The speed of the steps that follow depends on the other apps involved.
04What does connecting OmniPUSH to Zapier require?
An OmniPUSH account and a Zapier account. From the Apps page in Zapier, click + Add connection, search for OmniPUSH, then confirm with Add connection. A tab opens where you sign in to OmniPUSH and grant Zapier access. The connection is then saved and reused by every Zap that uses OmniPUSH. If the Zap has to touch anything you do not own yourself, a teammate's account for example, you also need read or write access to it.
05Why does an OmniPUSH Zap miss past replies?
Because a Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Replies and new connections from before you published it are never picked up, however recent they are. The test step does bring back the three most recent replies so you can map fields on a real one, but that is a preview, not an import. If you want earlier outreach in your sheet or CRM, move that backlog separately, then let the Zap handle everything new.
06What if the OmniPUSH operation you need is not there?
Then Zapier cannot do it today. On Zapier, OmniPUSH offers 2 triggers, New Connection and Reply Received, a single action, Import Latest Report, and no search. Sending invites, writing messages, updating contacts or finding an existing record are out of reach. Check the OmniPUSH app page on Zapier before you build, since the list of operations can change. If the job really depends on those moves, compare what other automation tools offer for OmniPUSH before committing to a setup.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for OmniPUSH?
It depends on the job, not on a ranking. On Zapier, the deciding facts are 2 instant triggers, one action that imports a report, no search, and a Free plan with 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps. If you mainly want replies and new connections pushed into other tools, that fits well. If you need to act inside OmniPUSH, sending or updating things, check whether another tool offers those operations for OmniPUSH, and weigh what each one bills for.
