The Orsay Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 2 actions and 0 searches. Leads from your forms and ads can be pushed into Orsay, even straight into a sequence, and what happens to those leads inside Orsay can start a Zap elsewhere.

What the Orsay Zapier integration does
Orsay is an AI sales assistant: it engages your leads and qualifies them for you. Plugging it into Zapier works both ways. Leads collected in other tools can be sent into Orsay, and actions that Orsay records on those leads can set off work in your CRM, sheet or team chat.
Three results teams set up. No lead left in a form: a form or ad tool starts the Zap, and Create Lead adds the person to Orsay so the assistant can reach out. Leads dropped into the right flow: Create Lead for Sequence does the same but enrolls the lead in a chosen sequence right away. A sales log that writes itself: Lead Action starts a Zap when a lead action happens in Orsay, and a row or a message records it.
Lead Action is an instant trigger. Orsay alerts Zapier itself, so the free plan's 15-minute wait never applies to it, and a free account gets those events as fast as a paid one.
Now the gaps. There is no search step: a Zap cannot look up an existing lead in Orsay before creating one, so duplicates are yours to prevent upstream. There is no action to edit or delete a lead either. And both actions are strict about phone numbers, so a form that stores them the local way fails at the first test. The same app also has an Orsay Make integration page if you weigh the two tools. For a wider view of the platform, see the Zapier review.
Zapier vocabulary in plain words
Seven terms that come up below, one line each.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. With Orsay, it is a lead action recorded in your organization.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, such as creating a lead.
- Task
- What Zapier bills: one action the Zap completes successfully. Your plan's allowance counts exactly those.
- Polling vs instant trigger
- Zapier checks a polling trigger on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app so later steps can use it. Orsay offers none on Zapier.
What an Orsay Zap really costs
Orsay is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. Zapier counts tasks, not leads or Zaps.
- Premium appNo, free plan works
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- BilledEach lead created successfully
- Lead Action speedInstant on every plan
The Lead Action trigger is free, however often it fires. Each successful action counts one task, so every lead created in Orsay costs one; a failed creation is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps and two steps per Zap: one trigger and one action. A form that feeds Create Lead fits. Add a filter, a second action or a search, and the Zap turns multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The grid below only governs polling triggers; Lead Action fires at once on every plan.
Connect Orsay to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A connection is your Orsay account linked once, then reused by every Orsay step in every Zap.
- 02
Pick Orsay
Search for Orsay in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. You need an Orsay account beforehand, since Zapier does not create one during the process.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Orsay in the tab that opens and allow Zapier to use the account. If the organization belongs to someone else, make sure your login has write access to it.
Your first Orsay Zap: lead actions logged in a sheet
GoalEach chosen lead action in Orsay becomes a row in a shared sheet, but only when it meets a condition you set.
- 01
Start from Lead Action
Create a Zap, choose Orsay as the app that starts it and Lead Action as the event. Pick your Orsay connection, then the Organization and the Action to watch.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent matching items of the account, so you map the next steps on a real lead instead of a guess.
- 03
Add a filter
Add a filter to let only some leads through. It makes the Zap multi-step, so this version needs a paid plan; skip it to stay on the free one.
- 04
Write the row
Add the sheet app as the action and map the lead details into the columns. Test the step once and check the row it creates.
- 05
Publish
When the test row looks right, publish the Zap. From then on, each matching lead action in Orsay lands in the sheet without anyone copying it.
Orsay triggers on Zapier
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Orsay, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Lead Action
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a lead action occurs inside the Orsay system”
Starts the Zap when an action takes place on a lead inside Orsay. You choose which organization to watch and which action counts, so one Zap can follow one kind of event while another handles a different one. The lead's data then flows to the next steps.
Orsay actions on Zapier
Orsay gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a Lead in the system”
Adds a new lead to one of your Orsay organizations, ready for the assistant to engage.
Create Lead for Sequence
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a Lead for a given sequence”
Creates the lead and places it in a chosen sequence in the same move, instead of leaving it unassigned.
When an Orsay Zap breaks
Zapier ties no help article to Orsay, and no app-specific limit is documented. Beyond the phone format, what breaks are the general rules of every Zap.
Four cases explain most surprises. If a Zap still fails, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the next stop.
Phone number rejected
Both Orsay actions require the phone in international format starting with a plus sign. A number typed the local way in your form fails the step.No catch-up on old leads
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads already sitting in your forms or CRM are not sent; moving that backlog is a separate job.A loop between create and trigger
If a Zap creates a lead in Orsay and that creation sets off a Lead Action feeding the same Zap, it runs again and again and burns your tasks.Bulk imports held back
A trigger that suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, can be held back by Zapier's flood protection.
