PixelPanda Zapier integrationAutomate PixelPanda with Zapier.

The PixelPanda Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 20 actions and 6 searches. Most actions edit one image and return it straight away; the heavier ones start a job and hand back a Job ID. Here is how each one behaves and what it costs.

Overview

What the PixelPanda Zapier integration does for you

It plugs PixelPanda, the AI image service built around product photos and marketing visuals, into Zapier. Other tools can then send it an image link and get back a cleaned, enhanced or generated visual, and a finished PixelPanda generation job can start steps elsewhere.

Three outcomes cover most builds. Catalogue images cleaned without a designer: a new product image in your store or drive goes through Remove Background, Enhance Photo or Upscale Image, and the clean version comes back to the Zap. Lifestyle shots from a single packshot: Create Product saves the item, then Generate Product Scenes, Generate Product Photo With Model or Generate Virtual Try-On stage it, and Generation Job Completed picks up the result. Ad material from a product page: Create Ad Pack From Product URL builds scene photos, static ads, captions and optionally a UGC video, and Find Ad Pack collects them.

What Zapier does not do here. There is a single trigger, it covers scenes, product-photo and try-on jobs only, and it works on a timer, not instantly. Avatar jobs, videos and ad packs have no trigger of their own: you collect them with a search step. Every action needs a public image link, so files locked in a private folder will not go through. And PixelPanda bills its own credits on top of Zapier tasks, two meters for one Zap.

If you are still weighing tools, see Make vs Zapier.

Vocabulary

Zapier terms you will meet below

Seven words do the heavy lifting on this page. One line each, in plain English.

Zap
An automation on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap, such as a PixelPanda generation job finishing. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
The step that does the work once the Zap has started: it edits, generates or saves something for you in an app.
Task
Zapier's billing unit: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan is a monthly count of those.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer and keeps only what is new. An instant one is reported by the app with no wait.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it quietly otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something that already exists, such as a finished job, so later steps can use what it found.
Cost

What a PixelPanda Zap costs, tasks and credits

PixelPanda is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans: it runs on the free plan. But you pay twice, in Zapier tasks and in PixelPanda credits.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
  • Free plan Zap sizeOne trigger, one action
  • Search step addedMulti-step Zap, paid plan
  • PixelPanda creditsBilled by PixelPanda, separate from tasks

On the Zapier side, the trigger costs nothing and neither do the checks behind it. Each successful action is one task; a failed one is not counted. On the PixelPanda side, each action has its own price: Convert Image Format and Create Product are free, most edits cost 1 credit, Edit Image With AI 2, Generate UGC Video 50, and an ad pack 59 with video or 9 without. The free Zapier plan stops at one trigger and one action. Collecting a slow job inside the same Zap takes a search step, so that Zap is multi-step and needs a paid plan.

Connect

Connect your PixelPanda account

  1. 01

    Open Apps in Zapier

Go to the Apps page of your Zapier account and click + Add connection. A connection is your PixelPanda account linked once, then reused by every PixelPanda step in every Zap.

  2. 02

    Select PixelPanda

Search for PixelPanda in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. You need a PixelPanda account beforehand, with credits for anything other than the free actions.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to PixelPanda in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access to the account. The Avatar and Product dropdowns of your steps then read from this account.

First Zap

Your first PixelPanda Zap

GoalEvery finished scenes, product-photo or try-on job gets its image upscaled, if it passes your condition.

  1. 01

    Set the trigger

Create a Zap, pick PixelPanda as the starting app and Generation Job Completed as the event, then choose your PixelPanda connection.

  2. 02

    Test on a real job

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of your account, so you map the next steps on real result images, not on a blank sample.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Click the plus icon, choose Filter and set the field, the rule and the value in Configure & test. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add Upscale Image

Add PixelPanda again with Upscale Image. Map a result image link from the trigger into Image URL and pick the Scale Factor; 8x costs 2 credits instead of 1.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test the action once and open the upscaled image to check it. Then publish the Zap to switch it on for every job that finishes from now on.

Triggers

PixelPanda trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in PixelPanda. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

Generation Job Completed

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a scenes, product-photo or try-on generation job finishes, with the result image URLs.”

Starts your Zap when a scenes, product-photo or try-on generation job finishes, and hands over the links to the result images. It is the only trigger in this app, and the natural partner of the generation actions that answer with a Job ID.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one.
When to use it
you launch generations from a product feed and want every finished set pushed to your shop, your drive or the team channel.
Watch out
it does not cover avatar, video or ad pack jobs; those are collected with their own search step.
Actions

PixelPanda actions

PixelPanda gives you 20 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Ad Pack From Product URL

Action

In Zapier“Paste a product page URL → 6 scene photos, a lip-synced UGC video, 8 platform-sized static ads and 3 captions. (59 credits with video, 9 without) Takes 3–8 minutes: add a Delay, then "Find Ad Pack" to collect everything.”

Turns a product page link (Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon or any page with images) into 6 scene photos, 8 static ads sized for each platform, 3 captions and, if you want it, a talking video.

When to use it
a new product page goes live and the ads team wants material the same day.
Watch out
it costs 59 credits with video and 9 without, and the job takes 3 to 8 minutes; Find Ad Pack collects the result.
2

Colorize Photo

Action

In Zapier“Add realistic color to black-and-white photos. (1 credit)”

Gives a black-and-white photo believable colours, for 1 credit.

When to use it
a heritage brand digs archive images out for an anniversary campaign.
Watch out
the colours are AI guesses; anything brand-critical, such as a logo, needs a human check before it goes out.
3

Convert Image Format

Action

In Zapier“Convert to PNG, JPG or WebP. (free)”

Converts an image to PNG, JPG or WebP, chosen in the required Output Format field. It is free in credits and still one Zapier task.

When to use it
your site wants WebP while suppliers send everything else.
Watch out
converting is cheap but each run still counts on your Zapier plan.
4

Create Product

Action

In Zapier“Save a product image to PixelPanda so it can be used for scenes, product photos and try-on. (free)”

Stores a product photo in your PixelPanda account, the entry ticket for the scene, model and try-on actions. Free in credits, one task in Zapier.

When to use it
a new item appears in your catalogue and should be ready for staged photos.
Watch out
the Image URL must be public, and a clean shot of a single product gives the best results.
5

Edit Image With AI

Action

In Zapier“Change an image with a text instruction (FLUX Kontext). (2 credits)”

Changes an image from a plain text instruction typed in the required Prompt field, such as recolouring an object or switching the season. It costs 2 credits.

When to use it
one product comes in several colours and you only have a photo of one.
Watch out
a vague prompt gives a vague result; test it on one image before mapping it to a feed.
6

Enhance Photo

Action

In Zapier“Sharpen, de-noise and fix lighting with AI. (1 credit)”

Cleans up a photo with AI, with crisper edges, less grain and better light, for 1 credit per image.

When to use it
photos shot on a phone by your sales team need to look acceptable on the website.
Watch out
it improves an image, it does not enlarge it; pair it with Upscale Image when resolution is the issue.
7

Generate Avatar

Action

In Zapier“Create a new AI model/character from a description or a reference photo. (1 credit per image) Returns image URLs when done within ~25s; otherwise a Job ID to check with "Find Avatar Job".”

Creates an AI model, a character that will later hold or wear your products, from a written Description or a reference photo. It costs 1 credit per image.

When to use it
your brand needs a recurring face for its product shots without a photo session.
Watch out
if the images are not ready within about 25 seconds, you get a Job ID instead, to collect with Find Avatar Job.
8

Generate Product Photo With Model

Action

In Zapier“An AI avatar holds or uses your product in a realistic photo. (1 credit per image) Returns result image URLs when the job completes within ~25 seconds; otherwise returns status "processing" and a Job ID — pair with the "Job Completed" trigger for longer jobs.”

Puts your product in the hands of an AI avatar for a realistic photo, at 1 credit per image.

When to use it
a cosmetics or gadget launch needs people using the item rather than an empty studio shot.
Watch out
both Avatar and Product are required and must already exist in your account; past about 25 seconds, the step answers with a processing status and a Job ID.
9

Generate Product Scenes

Action

In Zapier“Place a saved product into lifestyle/studio scenes — no model needed. (1 credit per scene) Returns result image URLs when the job completes within ~25 seconds; otherwise returns status "processing" and a Job ID — pair with the "Job Completed" trigger for longer jobs.”

Shows a saved product in a lifestyle or studio setting, with nobody in the frame. Each scene costs 1 credit.

When to use it
a bare packshot needs a few contextual images for the product page.
Watch out
the Product field requires an item already saved with Create Product, and a slow job returns a Job ID that Generation Job Completed or Find Generation Job will pick up.
10

Generate Virtual Try-On

Action

In Zapier“An AI avatar wears your clothing product. (1 credit per image) Returns result image URLs when the job completes within ~25 seconds; otherwise returns status "processing" and a Job ID — pair with the "Job Completed" trigger for longer jobs.”

Dresses an AI avatar in your clothing product, 1 credit per image, so a garment can be shown worn before any shoot.

When to use it
a fashion shop adds a new piece and wants on-model pictures for the listing.
Watch out
like the model photo, it requires a saved Avatar and a saved Product, and long jobs come back as a Job ID.
11

Generate UGC Video

Action

In Zapier“Turn a still image into a talking UGC-style video with native speech and lip-sync. (50 credits) Videos take 1–4 minutes — this returns a Job ID; use "Find Video Job" in a later step or a Delay to collect the video URL.”

Turns a still image, ideally of a person or avatar, into a short social-style clip where that face speaks, mouth matched to the voice. Burn-In Captions is optional.

When to use it
you want a short testimonial-style clip for social ads from an avatar you already have.
Watch out
50 credits per video, a render of 1 to 4 minutes, and the step returns only a Job ID; Find Video Job fetches the link.
12

Image to Prompt

Action

In Zapier“Describe an image as ready-to-use AI art prompts (general, Flux, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion). (1 credit)”

Reads an image and writes prompts you can paste into an image generator (general, Flux, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion), for 1 credit. Text comes out, not an image.

When to use it
a visual that worked well should be reproduced in another tool from a written prompt.
Watch out
map the text it returns into the next step; there is no image to pass on.
13

Make Transparent

Action

In Zapier“Remove a solid/white background, keeping the subject on transparency. (1 credit)”

Clears a plain or white backdrop and leaves the subject on a see-through layer, at 1 credit. Lighter than a full cut-out when the backdrop is already uniform.

When to use it
logos or studio packshots shot on white need to sit on coloured banners.
Watch out
it targets solid backgrounds; a busy scene is a job for Remove Background.
14

Generate Product Photos From Image URL

Action

In Zapier“Turn one product image into lifestyle/studio scene photos — no setup, just a URL. (1 credit per photo) Returns result URLs when done within ~25s; otherwise a Job ID for the "Find Generation Job" step or the "Generation Job Completed" trigger.”

The shortcut version: one product image link in, lifestyle or studio photos out, with no product to save first. Each photo costs 1 credit.

When to use it
you test a supplier's item and want quick scene photos before adding it properly.
Watch out
results come back directly only when ready within about 25 seconds; otherwise collect the Job ID with Find Generation Job or the trigger.
15

Remove Background

Action

In Zapier“Cut out the subject and return a transparent PNG. (1 credit)”

Lifts the subject off its background and hands back a PNG with nothing behind it, for 1 credit.

When to use it
marketplace listings demand a clean subject that you then place on your own backdrop.
Watch out
the image link has to be public; a file behind a login makes the step fail and the run is not billed as a task.
16

Remove Text

Action

In Zapier“Detect and erase text/watermarks with inpainting. (1 credit)”

Finds lettering or a watermark on an image and paints over it so the gap does not show, for 1 credit.

When to use it
supplier photos arrive with labels or overlays you cannot publish.
Watch out
make sure you have the right to reuse the image before removing a watermark; the Zap will not ask.
17

Replace Background

Action

In Zapier“Swap the background for an AI-generated scene. (1 credit)”

Keeps the subject where it is and puts a new, AI-made setting behind it, for 1 credit.

When to use it
seasonal campaigns where the same product needs a winter or summer setting.
Watch out
only the Image URL is required, so the scene is generated for you; check the first results before letting the Zap run on a whole catalogue.
18

Apply Art Style

Action

In Zapier“Re-render the image in an artistic style. (1 credit)”

Redraws an image in the look picked in the required Style field, for 1 credit.

When to use it
a social campaign wants illustrated versions of product photos.
Watch out
the result is a new image, not a filter on the old one; keep the original link if you need both.
19

Unblur Image

Action

In Zapier“Recover detail from blurry or low-quality photos. (1 credit)”

Brings sharpness back to a soft or low-quality photo, at 1 credit, when Enhance Photo is not enough.

When to use it
older product pictures or customer uploads are too soft to publish as they are.
Watch out
a heavily blurred original stays limited; check results before running a whole archive through it.
20

Upscale Image

Action

In Zapier“Increase image resolution 2x, 4x or 8x with AI. (1 credit; 8x = 2 credits)”

Makes an image 2x, 4x or 8x larger with AI, the factor being set in the required Scale Factor field.

When to use it
small supplier images must meet the minimum size of a marketplace or a print layout.
Watch out
2x and 4x cost 1 credit, 8x costs 2, so pick the smallest factor that does the job.
Searches

PixelPanda searches

6 search steps look for data that already exists in PixelPanda, so a later step can use it.

Four of the six searches exist for one reason: collecting slow jobs by their Job ID. The other two find saved avatars and products by name. In the editor they sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH, and three settings decide what happens when the answer is not clean.

1

Find Ad Pack

Search

In Zapier“Look up an ad pack job by Job ID to collect its photos, UGC video, static ads and captions.”

Collects a finished ad pack, its photos, UGC video, static ads and captions, from the Job ID returned by Create Ad Pack From Product URL.

When to use it
after the ad pack step, to send the material to your ads folder.
Watch out
the job takes 3 to 8 minutes, so a search placed right after the creation step usually finds it unfinished.
2

Find Avatar Job

Search

In Zapier“Look up an avatar generation job by Job ID to get the finished image URLs.”

Fetches the image links of an avatar generation from its Job ID, when Generate Avatar did not finish within about 25 seconds.

When to use it
your avatar step answered with a Job ID and the next step needs the pictures.
Watch out
the Job ID is required; map it from the Generate Avatar step rather than typing it.
3

Find Generation Job

Search

In Zapier“Look up a scenes / product-photo / try-on job by Job ID to collect its result images.”

Looks up a scenes, product-photo or try-on job by Job ID and returns its result images, the search twin of the only trigger.

When to use it
you prefer to keep generation and collection in one Zap rather than a second one on Generation Job Completed.
Watch out
it only knows scenes, product-photo and try-on jobs; avatar, video and ad pack jobs each have their own search.
4

Find Video Job

Search

In Zapier“Look up a UGC video job by Job ID to get the finished video URL.”

Returns the link of a finished UGC video from the Job ID handed over by Generate UGC Video.

When to use it
you want the video posted or filed without opening PixelPanda.
Watch out
renders take 1 to 4 minutes, so the search has to come later than the generation step, not straight after it.
5

Find Avatar

Search

In Zapier“Find a saved avatar by name (also powers the Avatar dropdown).”

Finds an avatar you saved, by its name, and also feeds the Avatar dropdown of the model and try-on actions.

When to use it
your incoming data names the avatar to use, for example per brand or per market.
Watch out
a name that matches nothing stops the Zap unless you change the first setting.
6

Find Product

Search

In Zapier“Find a saved product by name (also powers the Product dropdown).”

Retrieves a saved product by name and powers the Product dropdown of the generation actions.

When to use it
a product feed gives names, and the scene or try-on step needs the matching saved product.
Watch out
only products saved with Create Product exist here; a catalogue item never saved is not found.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps that depended on it. Switched on, the Zap continues empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
This box turns a search into a find-or-create. None of the PixelPanda searches offers that variant, so you will not see it here.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out: keep the first match (the default), stop the Zap, or hand every match to the next steps.
When it breaks

When a PixelPanda Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article of its own to PixelPanda, and the source records no specific limit. The failures that show up mix general Zap behaviour with the way PixelPanda answers slow jobs.

Few of them produce a clear error. You see empty results, a Zap that keeps running, or a credit balance that drops faster than planned. When one of them sticks, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the next stop.

  • A Job ID instead of images

Generation, avatar, video and ad pack actions answer with a Job ID when the work is not done in time. The next step gets no image unless a search or the trigger collects it.
  • The private link that fails

Every image action needs a public Image URL. A drive or storage link that requires a login makes the step fail; a failed action is not counted as a task.
  • The Zap that generates forever

Generation Job Completed followed by a scenes, model or try-on action starts a new job, which completes and fires the trigger again. Tasks and credits drain fast.
  • Past jobs are not picked up

A Zap only reacts to jobs finishing after it is published. Results generated before that stay in PixelPanda; collecting them is a separate job.
  • A batch launch gets held back

Launching a whole catalogue at once can make the trigger return a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection may hold that batch back.
  • Each job counts once

Zapier remembers what the polling trigger already returned, so one finished job does not start the Zap twice.

FAQ

PixelPanda Zapier integration: FAQ

01Is the PixelPanda Zapier integration free?
On the Zapier side, yes: PixelPanda is not one of the apps reserved for paid plans, and the free plan gives 100 tasks a month. On the PixelPanda side, most actions spend credits, from 1 for an edit to 59 for an ad pack with video; only Convert Image Format and Create Product are free. Keep in mind that the free Zapier plan allows one trigger and one action, so any Zap that collects a slow job with a search needs a paid plan.
02How many tasks does a PixelPanda Zap use?
One task per successful action, and nothing for the trigger. A Zap that runs Remove Background then Upscale Image uses two tasks per image. Credits are counted separately by PixelPanda: those two steps also spend 1 credit each, or 2 for an 8x upscale. A failed action is not counted as a task, which matters when an image link turns out to be private. Count both meters before you scale a Zap to a full catalogue.
03Does PixelPanda work in real time with Zapier?
Not the trigger. Generation Job Completed is a polling trigger: Zapier checks your account at a fixed interval, 15 minutes on the free plan, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise. On paid plans you can also run a check by hand from the editor. Generation actions return images directly only when ready within about 25 seconds; otherwise they return a Job ID, and you collect the result later with the trigger or a search.
04What does it take to connect PixelPanda to Zapier?
A PixelPanda account, credits for the paid actions, and images reachable by a public link. In Zapier, open Apps, click + Add connection, pick PixelPanda, sign in and grant access. The model and try-on actions also need an avatar and a product already saved in that account, through Generate Avatar and Create Product or directly in PixelPanda. Without them, the Avatar and Product dropdowns stay empty. Test one step with a real public link before building the rest.
05Why does a PixelPanda step return a Job ID and no image?
Because the job was not finished in time. Avatar, scenes, model photo, try-on and image-URL generations return results directly only within about 25 seconds; past that, you get a processing status and a Job ID. Videos take 1 to 4 minutes and ad packs 3 to 8, so they always return a Job ID. Collect the result with the matching search step, or with Generation Job Completed for scenes, model photo and try-on jobs.
06What if the PixelPanda action you need is not in the list?
Then the integration does not offer it today. The editor shows one trigger, twenty actions and six searches, covering edits, generation and job collection. There is no action to delete a saved product or avatar, and no trigger for finished videos or ad packs. Work around it with a search step that collects the result, or look at another automation tool that offers the missing step. Keep in mind that such a search step makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for PixelPanda?
Choose on criteria, not on a ranking. First, coverage: on Zapier, PixelPanda offers one polling trigger, twenty actions and six searches. Second, the shape of your flow: collecting slow jobs means search steps, so multi-step Zaps and a paid plan. Third, cost: Zapier counts one task per successful action while PixelPanda bills its own credits. Ask each tool the same questions for your PixelPanda flow and keep the one that answers them best.
