What is the best dropshipping platform in 2026?
No app will make your sales for you. The wrong one can cost you money before the first order.
You want a store with no inventory: a customer buys from you, and a supplier ships the order for you. The phrase "dropshipping platform" covers two different things, and most rankings mix them up. One is the storefront itself (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix). The other is the app that finds products at suppliers, pushes them into your store and forwards each order. This page ranks the second kind, because that is the piece that decides your shipping times, your margins and the surprises on your card statement.
The short answer. DSers is the best platform to start with: a $0 Basic plan with three stores and 3,000 products, then $19.90 a month when you grow. CJdropshipping is the best for fast delivery, with warehouses in the US, the UK and Germany and no subscription. Printify is the pick if you sell your own print-on-demand designs. Zendrop suits a Shopify brand selling to US customers (from $29). AutoDS is for sellers juggling several suppliers (from $26.90). AliDrop and Spocket close the list: useful, but expensive for what a beginner gets.
The catch most guides skip: the US ended its $800 de minimis exemption on small parcels. Orders shipped straight from China no longer slip in duty-free, so a product sitting in a US warehouse has become a real advantage. We show you how to factor that in below.
The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its entry, and no affiliate link ever changes a score.

How we compared and scored
This page is for someone launching or relaunching a no-inventory store, solo or with a partner, on a tight starting budget. It is not a guide for a brand that already runs its own warehouse.
We read each vendor's official pricing, plan by plan, and its Shopify App Store listing, which sometimes shows the real prices better than the website does. AutoDS is the clearest case: its prices are not on its homepage. Then we went through seller feedback, starting with the worst reviews, on forums and app marketplaces. One pattern keeps coming back. People rarely leave a tool over a missing feature. They leave over a charge they did not expect, a parcel that took a month, or a support inbox that stopped answering.
The weights follow what makes a store survive or sink. Features count for 25%: product import, automatic order forwarding, price and stock sync. Ease of use, value for money and integrations count for 20% each. Support counts for 15%, because you mostly need it when a supplier fails to ship. For AliDrop, Spocket and Printify, the scores are the ones from their full Labs reviews, unchanged.
What is not ranked, and why. Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix are storefronts, not supplier apps, and we compare them on another page. DropGenius keeps its 2.5 out of 5 in its full review, but we could not read its prices on its official site, so it stays out of this ranking until we can. Syncee, which focuses on US and EU suppliers, appears in the buying guide.
- Features and depthProduct import, automatic order forwarding to the supplier, price and stock sync, supplier choice.25%
- Ease of useHow long a beginner needs to connect a store, import a product and send a first order.20%
- Value for moneyWhat each dollar buys, free plan included, and what costs extra: store subscription, paid trials, product caps.20%
- IntegrationsStorefronts and marketplaces supported (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, eBay, TikTok Shop), product sources and warehouses.20%
- Customer supportChannels, speed, and above all how the vendor handles a refund or cancellation request.15%
The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its entry, and no affiliate link ever changes a score.
DSers
DSers wins because it does the core job for free, and not just for a week. The $0 Basic plan covers three stores, 3,000 products and 500 imports a day. For a first store, that is more room than you will need for months. It imports an AliExpress product in one click and sends orders to suppliers in bulk, so you approve fifty orders at once instead of copying them one by one.
It also plugs into more sales channels than its rivals: Shopify, Wix and WooCommerce, plus eBay, TikTok Shop, Amazon and Walmart. If you want to sell somewhere other than Shopify, it is the most open tool on this list. When you grow, Advanced costs $19.90 a month and Pro $49.90, with 20% off on yearly billing. Paid plans come with a 14-day trial.
Its limit is the catalog. DSers is an AliExpress tool first, with the shipping times that come with it: often 15 to 30 days on standard shipping. Like every tool here, it has its share of angry reviews, so read the most recent ones before you commit to a paid plan.
- $0 Basic plan: 3 stores, 3,000 products, 500 imports a day
- Bulk order forwarding to suppliers
- Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, eBay, TikTok Shop, Amazon and Walmart
- 14-day trial on paid plans
- ✓The only free plan on this list that is genuinely enough to launch
- ✓The widest choice of sales channels in the ranking
- ✓Fair paid tiers, with 20% off yearly
- ✗Tied to AliExpress: long shipping and uneven quality between sellers
- ✗The jump from Pro ($49.90) to Enterprise ($499.90) is steep for a growing team
If you are starting out, start here. The free plan lets you validate a product with zero fixed cost, and you only move to $19.90 once your store outgrows it. The day customers start complaining about delivery times, keep DSers for importing and add a supplier with a local warehouse.
CJdropshipping
CJdropshipping is not just an import app. It is a supplier and a sourcing agent (someone who finds the factory, negotiates and checks quality for you) with its own warehouses in China, the US, the UK and Germany. When your product sits in its US warehouse, the advertised local delivery drops to 2 to 3 days. For a US store after the end of de minimis, that is also how you stop paying duty parcel by parcel.
There is no subscription. The app installs for free, and CJ earns its money on the product price, shipping and the services you choose, like branded packaging. Its sourcing side makes it the closest thing to a private supplier on this whole list.
Its limit is the interface, which is dense and sometimes clumsily translated, and support that varies with the agent you get. Seller feedback is mostly very positive, but do not trust the stars alone: always order a sample before you put ad money behind a product.
- Warehouses in China, the US, the UK and Germany
- Advertised local delivery of 2 to 3 days from a warehouse
- Branded packaging and labels
- Free app on the Shopify App Store
- ✓No subscription: you only pay for what you sell
- ✓The most direct way to deliver in days in the US or Europe
- ✓Moves you from importing to real sourcing without switching tools
- ✗Busy interface, less simple than DSers for a first store
- ✗Support quality depends on who answers
- ✗Local warehouse stock means planning your volumes
It is the logical next step after DSers. Once a product sells steadily, move it into CJ's US warehouse: delivery goes from weeks to days, and disputes drop. For your very first product research, it is a bit too much.
Printify
Printify is dropshipping of a different kind: print on demand. You put your design on a blank product, a partner print provider makes it when a customer orders, then ships it. You are not reselling someone else's item. You are selling your artwork, which protects your margins and your brand far better.
The Free plan costs $0 and includes five stores and the full catalog. Premium costs $39 a month, or $24.99 a month billed yearly ($299.88 a year), and gives up to 20% off products. The math is simple: Premium pays off once your monthly production spend is high enough that 20% beats its price.
Its limit is print consistency, which depends on the provider you pick for each product. Two providers printing the same t-shirt will not give the same result. Always order a sample from the exact provider you plan to use, not the cheapest one.
- Free plan at $0 with five stores and the full catalog
- Premium: up to 20% off products
- Print provider chosen product by product
- ✓Your product is unique, so there is less price competition
- ✓Very easy to pick up
- ✓Yearly Premium at $24.99 a month for high-volume sellers
- ✗Print quality varies between providers
- ✗You need designs that sell, or someone to make them
- ✗Monthly Premium at $39 only makes sense at real volume
If you have a visual style, an audience or a sense of humor of your own, print on demand is easier to defend than reselling AliExpress products. Stay on Free until your Premium discounts cover the $39.
Zendrop
Zendrop is built for sellers who want a brand rather than a hundred random products. It offers a supplier catalog, automatic order forwarding, custom packaging and US warehouses. For a store selling to American customers, that is a real edge, especially now that the $800 de minimis exemption is gone and parcels from China no longer enter duty-free.
The Free plan exists, but it is mostly there to look around: it does not let you link products to your store. To actually sell, budget for Beginner at $29 a month at least. Pro at $49 and Plus at $79 come next.
Its limit is its US focus. If your customers are in Europe, US warehouses will not help you, and CJdropshipping fits better. It is also designed for Shopify first.
- Custom packaging and branding
- US warehouses for fast delivery to American customers
- Automatic order forwarding
- ✓Good balance between simplicity and brand features
- ✓Support scores above the category average
- ✓Clear tiers from $29 to $79
- ✗The Free plan cannot sell: the real entry price is $29
- ✗Less useful if you mostly sell in Europe
- ✗Designed for Shopify first
A solid choice for a Shopify store selling in the US that wants a brand look. If your buyers are in Europe, keep that budget for CJdropshipping or Spocket.
AutoDS
AutoDS is the most automation-heavy tool on this list: it tracks prices and stock across several suppliers at once and forwards orders. If you run 500 products from three sources, it saves you hours of checking.
Plans are named after the number of products tracked: Import 200 at $26.90 a month, Starter 500 at $39.90, Advanced 1K at $66.90. Billed yearly, that is $248.70, $368.70 and $608.70 a year. One detail matters: these prices are not on the official website. You have to open the Shopify App Store listing to see them.
Its limit is billing. The 3-day trial costs about $1, and sellers report being charged for a full year when the trial ended, without meaning to. Before you start, check which plan is ticked, monthly or yearly, and write down the trial end date.
- Price and stock tracking across several suppliers
- Plans by product count: 200, 500, 1,000
- 3-day trial for about $1
- ✓The deepest automation in the ranking
- ✓Real time saved beyond a few hundred products
- ✓Yearly billing is much cheaper per month
- ✗No free plan, and a short, paid trial
- ✗Repeated complaints about yearly charges after the trial
- ✗Too much tool for a twenty-product store
Take it once you are past the trial-and-error stage and catalog updates are eating your time. To get started, free DSers covers the basics. And if you do start the trial, pick monthly.
AliDrop
AliDrop imports products from AliExpress, Alibaba and Temu into a Shopify store, with automatic order forwarding and product suggestions. On paper, it is complete. The pricing page is less flattering: Starter costs $39 a month with no yearly option and caps you at 50 products, 25 of them "premium". DSers gives you 3,000 for free.
The real deal is elsewhere. Professional drops from $59 to $24 a month on yearly billing, which is $288 a year for 500 products. If you are sure you will stick with it for a year, look at that plan, not Starter. One more thing: the site's FAQ talks about "unlimited" imports while the pricing table shows caps. Trust the table.
Its main weakness is support. Sellers asking for a refund or a cancellation often say they stopped getting answers, and the company rarely replies to negative reviews. AliDrop only works with Shopify.
- AliExpress, Alibaba and Temu sources in one tool
- Professional at $24 a month billed yearly ($288 a year)
- Automatic order forwarding
- ✓Three big product sources in one place
- ✓Good yearly price on Professional
- ✓Reasonable learning curve for a beginner
- ✗Starter at $39 capped at 50 products
- ✗Shopify only
- ✗Slow support on refunds
AliDrop only makes sense on the yearly Professional plan, for a Shopify seller who also wants Alibaba and Temu. On monthly billing, DSers does the same core job for $0. For the full price breakdown, see our AliDrop pricing guide.
Spocket
Spocket tackles the first complaint about dropshipping: slow delivery. Its suppliers are spread across 25 countries, including the US, France, Germany, Spain and Italy, plus China. A product shipped from inside your customer's market arrives much faster and, for US buyers, avoids the import duty that now hits parcels from China. Branded invoices come with Starter, and there is no commission on sales.
Price is its weak spot. Starter costs $39.99 a month for just 25 unique products. Professional drops from $59.99 to $24 a month on yearly billing. And each extra store needs its own subscription. There is a $0 Free plan, but only through the Shopify App Store, not the website. The trial lasts 7 days, even though one icon on the site says 14.
Support is the second weak spot: negative reviews describe charges after cancellation and refunds refused under a "non-refundable" policy. Cancel both in the app and in your Shopify admin, and keep a screenshot.
- Suppliers in 25 countries, including the US and Europe
- Branded invoices from Starter, 0% commission
- Free plan at $0 through the Shopify App Store
- ✓Fast domestic shipping for US and EU buyers
- ✓Products often better made than typical AliExpress listings
- ✓Yearly Professional at $24 a month
- ✗Starter at $39.99 for 25 unique products
- ✗One subscription per store
- ✗Repeated complaints about billing and refunds
Spocket earns its spot for one use: selling to US or EU buyers with products shipped from their own region. Start with the Free plan from the App Store to check its suppliers carry what you need before paying. To weigh it against the runner-up options, read our Spocket alternatives guide.
How to choose your dropshipping platform in 2026
The right tool depends first on where your customers are and where your parcels ship from. Budget and automation come second. Here are the cases we see most, with the real cost of each.
You are starting with under $100 a month
Use DSers Basic at $0 on Shopify. Take Shopify's trial offer (3 days free, then $1 a month for three months), then budget $39 a month for Basic, or $29 billed yearly. Your fixed cost stays under $40 a month, and everything else goes to ads, which is where your store really lives or dies. For more, see our guide to dropshipping tools for beginners.
Your customers are in the US
With the $800 de minimis exemption gone, parcels shipped straight from China cost more and take longer to clear. Zendrop, CJdropshipping and Spocket all give you US stock or US suppliers. Move your best sellers there first and keep China-direct shipping for products you are still validating.
Your customers are in Europe
In 2026 the EU charges a flat customs duty of €3 per item on small parcels, on top of VAT from the first euro. Stock held in Europe avoids it. Use CJdropshipping's German or UK warehouses, a European Spocket supplier, or Syncee (Free plan at $0, then $39.99 a month for 100 products). Our ranking of European dropshipping suppliers goes deeper.
You want your own brand
Two routes. Printify if you sell your own designs: the product is yours and price wars disappear. Zendrop or CJdropshipping if you sell an existing product under your name, with custom packaging. For ad visuals, our page on ad creative tools for dropshipping completes the picture.
You manage hundreds of products
Past a few hundred products across several suppliers, updating prices by hand becomes a risk: you sell at a loss without noticing. AutoDS ($39.90 for 500 products) or DSers Advanced ($19.90) automate the tracking. To go further, a Shopify automation with n8n can push every order into your margin spreadsheet.
You do not have a store yet
Pick the storefront first, then the app. Shopify is still the easiest for dropshipping, but it charges a 2% fee on Basic if you use an outside payment provider instead of its own. Our comparison of ecommerce platforms helps you decide between Shopify, WooCommerce and the rest.
- Work out your full fixed cost: app + storefront + payment fees, not just the sticker price.
- Before any trial, check whether the plan selected is monthly or yearly, and note the end date.
- Cancel in the app and in your Shopify admin, and keep a screenshot.
- Order a sample before you run ads on a product.
- Build import duties into your landed cost: US duty on China-direct parcels, €3 per item into the EU.
- Show a realistic delivery time on your product page: 15 to 30 days from AliExpress, a few days from a local warehouse.
- On a new store, expect your payment provider to hold back part of your payouts at first.
Dropshipping platforms · your questions
Is there a free dropshipping app?
Yes, four tools in this ranking have a $0 plan, but only one is truly enough to sell: DSers Basic, with three stores and 3,000 products. Printify Free is also complete, for print on demand. Zendrop Free does not let you link products to your store, and Spocket's Free plan only exists through the Shopify App Store. Either way, you still pay for your storefront.
Is DSers really free?
Yes. The Basic plan costs $0 with no time limit and covers three stores, 3,000 products and 500 imports a day. You only pay if you want Advanced ($19.90 a month) or Pro ($49.90). What is not free is the rest: your Shopify plan, the products and your ads.
How much does it cost to start dropshipping?
Your fixed minimum is $29 to $39 a month for Shopify Basic (yearly or monthly), plus the app: $0 with DSers, $29 with Zendrop, $39 with AliDrop. Add a 2% fee per sale if you skip Shopify's own payments. Ads are the real spend, and they usually outrun everything else from the first month.
DSers vs AutoDS: which one should I pick?
DSers if you mainly sell AliExpress products and want a free plan that covers a whole first store. AutoDS if you already run several hundred products across several suppliers and want prices and stock tracked automatically, from $26.90 a month. Many sellers start on DSers and only move once catalog updates eat their week.
Is Spocket worth it?
Only if you sell to US or EU buyers and want products shipped from their region. Starter costs $39.99 a month for 25 unique products, and each extra store needs its own subscription. Try its Free plan through the Shopify App Store first to check its suppliers carry your niche.
How does the end of de minimis change US dropshipping?
Parcels from China no longer enter the US duty-free under the old $800 threshold, so each order can carry import costs and clearance delays. The practical answer is US stock: CJdropshipping and Zendrop have US warehouses, and Spocket lists US suppliers. Price your products with duty included.
How do I cancel Spocket or AliDrop without being charged?
Cancel at least a day before the trial ends, in the app and in your Shopify admin, and screenshot the confirmation. AliDrop's 7-day trial costs $1 and AutoDS's 3-day trial about $1; both roll into a paid plan automatically. On AutoDS, also make sure the selected plan is not yearly.
Shopify or WooCommerce for dropshipping?
Shopify for speed: every app in this ranking connects to it, and AliDrop works with nothing else. WooCommerce if you already run WordPress and want to skip the Shopify bill: DSers connects to it. The rest of this list is built for Shopify first.
Is dropshipping still profitable in 2026?
Yes, but it is harder than it was. US duty on China-direct parcels and the EU's €3 per item have squeezed margins on cheap products. Local stock, a product of your own (print on demand) or a selling price high enough to absorb those costs have become survival conditions. Validate a product on a small budget before you treat it as a business.
