Which European dropshipping supplier should you pick in 2026?

Seven options that ship from inside Europe, what they cost per month, and the traps you only find after paying.

The short answer: go with Hertwill if you want European brands with clear wholesale prices, published shipping rates and a 0% VAT invoice, from $28.99 a month on Shopify. Go with CJdropshipping if you already have a product that sells and just want it closer to your EU customers, from its warehouses in Poland and Germany, with no subscription. Pick Syncee if your store runs on WooCommerce, Wix or BigCommerce. A European supplier does three things for you: parcels in days instead of weeks, no customs duty on arrival, and returns that stay inside the EU. The price is a higher wholesale cost than AliExpress. We compared seven options on what you actually pay each month, where parcels really leave from, VAT and returns. If you sell from the UK or the US, the rules differ, and we cover both below.

Scores on five criteria, weighted for a seller who wants stock inside Europe. Entry prices checked in 2026 on official vendor pages or their App Store listings; your store subscription is not included.

How we scored

How we compared and scored

Anyone can write "European supplier" on a homepage. So we compared these options on things you can check: where the parcel actually leaves from, what you pay each month once the connector app and shipping are added, what the invoice says, and who pays for a return. For each one, we read plans, shipping rates and delivery times on the official pricing page or the vendor's own App Store listing. When an official page could not be read, as with BigBuy, the card says so and shows no price.

Then we read recent merchant reviews, worst first: stockouts, prepaid wallets that take weeks to refund, charges after cancellation, Shopify connections that would not work on the plan the merchant had. Replies from vendor staff on forums did not count, and neither did one account that pushed the same supplier in four separate threads. Marketplaces (Syncee, Spocket) are scored on their rules and filters; quality then depends on the supplier you choose inside them.

1
Best for European brands

Hertwill

4.3/5

Hertwill is an Estonian platform that connects your store to European and US brands: clothing, shoes, beauty, kids, home and garden. It says 80% of its products are made in Europe or the US. It plugs into Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix, not PrestaShop. It is the most transparent option in this ranking: prices, shipping, delivery times and returns are all written on its own pages.

On the Shopify App Store, plans are billed in dollars: Standard $28.99 a month for 100 products, Plus $33.99 for 500, Growth $56.99 for unlimited products. On its own site the same plans show in euros, excluding VAT, from €24.99 (or €19.99 a month billed yearly). The free plan covers 5 products and 10 orders a month, which is enough for a real test order. Paid plans have unlimited orders and a 3-day trial. Orders placed before 11:59 pm (GMT+2) ship the next business day, then take 3 to 8 business days inside the EU, 4 to 10 to the UK, and 3 to 8 to the US.

Shipping is charged separately, per order and per brand, excluding VAT. To France, expect €6.99 to €14.99 to a pickup point depending on the brand; to Germany €6.99 to €15.99 by courier. An order with items from two brands pays shipping twice, and one merchant saw this cost double on a two-item order. Give Hertwill a valid EU VAT number and it invoices you at 0%; sellers outside the EU are invoiced at 0% too. There is no invoice in the parcel, which ships in the brand's own packaging or plain packaging. White label (your name on the box) is listed as coming soon.

For UK customers, Hertwill does not ship duties paid: above £135 per shipment, your buyer may pay VAT, duties and a carrier fee at the door. Returns are accepted for 30 days, new with tags, at the cost of the original shipping, and some brands accept no returns at all. Reviews are strong (4.7 out of 5 on its Shopify listing), with two repeated complaints: wholesale prices that leave thin margins, and popular items going out of stock. Not for you if you sell sub-$20 impulse gadgets.

Standout features
  • Prices excluding VAT, published on the official site
  • Shipping rates listed country by country
  • 0% VAT invoice with a valid EU VAT number
  • 30-day returns handled from the dashboard
+Pros
  • ✓Free plan is enough for a proper test order
  • ✓Official 3 to 8 business days inside the EU
  • ✓2-year warranty on its App Store listing
−Cons
  • ✗Shipping charged per brand, adds up on mixed carts
  • ✗High wholesale prices, thin margins
  • ✗No white label yet
Verdict

The best starting point for a store built on European brands. Open the free plan, send a test order to your own address, and only pay for Standard once your margin math includes shipping to your main country.

Best for moving a proven product to Europe

CJdropshipping

4.1/5

CJdropshipping is not a European supplier. It is a Chinese sourcing agent that runs warehouses in Europe: Poland, Germany (Frankfurt) and the UK. It earns its spot for a practical reason. Many sellers who search for "European suppliers" really want faster delivery on a product they already sell. From a local warehouse, CJ quotes a general delivery time of 2 to 3 days. The app is free and has no subscription.

The catch is something CJ writes itself: having a warehouse in Germany and having this SKU ready to ship from Germany are two different things. Delivery time depends on each product, each variant, and the route you pick in the shipping calculator. Check the departure warehouse on the product page before you list it, and check again whenever a variant goes out of stock.

You can also send your own inventory. Private stock needs at least 10 units per variant and 100 units in total. Storage is free for 30 days in the European warehouses (90 days in China and the US), and each order pays an outbound fee: $0.34 in Germany, $0.33 in the UK and $1.01 in Poland for a 0 to 0.5 kg parcel. Moving stock from China to an EU warehouse takes 12 to 18 days by air or 45 to 65 days by sea, so plan restocks early.

For UK sellers, the GB warehouse is the closest thing to domestic fulfillment on this list. The limit is branding: your products are still made in China, with no European brand story to tell. CJ's Shopify listing shows 4.9 out of 5 from 2,927 reviews, but the company's score on a major review site was pulled after fake reviews were removed. Not for you if "made in Europe" is your selling point.

Standout features
  • $0 subscription
  • Warehouses in Poland, Germany and the UK
  • 2 to 3 days quoted from a local warehouse
  • Free storage for 30 days in Europe
+Pros
  • ✓No fixed cost until you sell
  • ✓$0.34 outbound fee in Germany
  • ✓Keep the product you already sell
−Cons
  • ✗Chinese-made products, no EU brands
  • ✗EU stock must be checked SKU by SKU
  • ✗Restocks take 12 to 65 days from China
Verdict

The best pick for shipping a proven product faster with no subscription. Only label it "ships from Europe" once you have seen the departure warehouse and received your test order.

Best for non-Shopify stores

Syncee

3.7/5

Syncee is a Hungarian marketplace. It does not sell anything itself; it connects you with suppliers mostly based in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia. For this use case, two catalog filters matter: "Supplier location" and "Shipping to". Use both together, or you will see European suppliers that do not ship to your customers.

It also covers the most store platforms of any option here: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Ecwid and smaller ones like EKM, Jumpseller and Shoprenter. No PrestaShop. The free plan lets you browse. Basic costs $39.99 a month for 100 products and one supplier, Pro $59.99 for 250 products and unlimited suppliers, Business $99.99 for 10,000. Syncee takes no commission, and monthly plans come with a 3-day trial.

The weak spot is the model itself. Every supplier sets its own prices, delivery times and returns, and Syncee sends disputes back to the supplier. Recent one- and two-star reviews mention orders paid but never shipped, shipping costs raised after payment, and a whole product line pulled overnight. One merchant found the same products cheaper on the supplier's own site, with free shipping. The tip: before importing anything, open the supplier's website and compare its retail price with the wholesale price Syncee shows you. Syncee says nothing about VAT invoices, so ask each supplier before your first order.

Standout features
  • Supplier location and ship-to filters
  • 10 store platforms supported
  • 0% commission
+Pros
  • ✓Widest store compatibility in this ranking
  • ✓Free plan to explore the catalog
  • ✓Unlimited suppliers from Pro
−Cons
  • ✗Basic is limited to one supplier
  • ✗Quality depends on each supplier
  • ✗No VAT invoice policy
Verdict

The right call if your store is not on Shopify, or if you want to sort suppliers by country. Order from two of them before you pay for Pro.

Best for home and garden

dropXL

3.3/5

dropXL is the dropshipping program of vidaXL, the Dutch furniture and garden retailer. You get its catalog (300,000+ products once registered) with warehouses in Europe, the US, Australia, Japan and the UAE. dropXL handles returns, and there is an API for custom stores. For heavy, bulky items, nothing else on this list comes close.

The pricing has a twist: each selling country is a separate account at €30 a month, with its own B2B discount of up to 30%. Selling into France, Germany and the Netherlands means €90 a month. Local tax is not included. There is no free trial, but you get a refund if you cancel in the first month without placing an order. On Shopify there is no native connector: the Woosa app adds $29 a month, and orders still have to be confirmed by hand in your dropXL account. The FAQ lists PayPal as the payment method. US sellers note: dropXL also has US warehouses, which make more sense than European stock for American customers.

Merchant reviews are rough. They mention missing parts, uneven quality, price increases and disputes you have to open through PayPal. One merchant stopped selling vidaXL after its returns policy changed. End customers complain about incomplete or damaged parcels. The tip: start with one country, and read the current returns policy before you list a single sofa. Above 50,000 variants, Shopify also caps imports at 1,000 new products a day, so do not try to import the whole catalog.

Standout features
  • vidaXL home, garden and furniture catalog
  • B2B discount up to 30% by country
  • No per-order commission
+Pros
  • ✓The only real bulky-goods catalog here
  • ✓Returns handled by dropXL
  • ✓Refund if you cancel month one with no orders
−Cons
  • ✗€30 a month per country
  • ✗Manual order confirmation on Shopify
  • ✗Reviews cite quality issues and missing parts
Verdict

Worth it for a home and garden niche in one or two countries. Beyond that, the per-country fee and the Woosa app eat your margin.

Best for luxury fashion

BrandsGateway

3.2/5

BrandsGateway is the one fashion supplier in this space that publishes a full price list. It focuses on designer and luxury clothing, with apps for Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce and Shift4Shop. If your store's angle is branded fashion rather than generic products, it gives you recognizable labels without buying stock.

It is also the most expensive entry ticket here. GROW costs $209 a month, or $155 a month billed yearly, for 1,000 products. SCALE is $289 a month, ENTERPRISE $799. And the pricing page is blunt: no refunds on any subscription package. Its official pages do not say where its warehouses are, so ask before you promise EU delivery times.

Other European fashion sources exist, but none publishes a complete grid. Brandsdistribution (Italy) needs a $99-a-month Shopify app on top of its own fees. Griffati (Italy, just under 10,000 branded items) needs a €79-a-month connector. BDroppy advertises EU-wide shipping for €6.90. The tip: with no refunds, start on the monthly plan for one or two months before you commit to a year. Not for you if you are still testing niches on a small budget.

Standout features
  • Designer and luxury clothing catalog
  • Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce and Shift4Shop apps
  • Full price list published
+Pros
  • ✓Recognizable brands without buying stock
  • ✓About 26% cheaper billed yearly
  • ✓Clear tiers by product count
−Cons
  • ✗$209 a month to start
  • ✗No refunds on any plan
  • ✗Warehouse locations not published
Verdict

A solid option for a fashion store with budget and a brand angle. Pay monthly first: with no refunds, a yearly plan is a bet you should only make once sales are steady.

Best for branded invoices

Spocket

3.0/5

Spocket puts European and American suppliers in one app, spread across 25 countries including France, Spain, Germany and Italy. Its best feature for a polished store: branded invoices on every plan. Your customer gets a document with your name on it, not the supplier's. Orders are unlimited.

The entry price is misleading. Starter is $39.99 a month for 25 products, but our full Spocket review found that the US and EU suppliers, the whole reason to use Spocket, only open from Professional at $59.99 a month. Billed yearly, Professional works out at $24 a month for 250 products, which is the better deal if you know you will stay a year. The trial is 7 days. Spocket publishes no delivery times, so check the ship-from country on every product.

Reviews are the real limit. Its Shopify listing sits at 3.6 out of 5. One merchant estimates that half the sellers on the platform are no longer active; others report fake stock levels and charges after cancelling. Spocket fees can be billed outside your Shopify invoice, so check both after you cancel. Not for you if your tool budget is under $60 a month. Plan-by-plan detail is in our Spocket pricing breakdown.

Standout features
  • Branded invoices on every plan
  • Suppliers in 25 countries
  • Unlimited orders
+Pros
  • ✓One app for Europe and the US
  • ✓Professional at $24/mo billed yearly
  • ✓7-day trial
−Cons
  • ✗EU suppliers from $59.99 a month
  • ✗Inactive suppliers reported
  • ✗No delivery times published
Verdict

For a Shopify store that wants a polished brand and can spend $60 a month. Try three suppliers during the 7-day trial, and screenshot your cancellation if you leave.

Biggest catalog, most complaints

BigBuy

2.9/5

BigBuy is the Spanish wholesaler everyone mentions, based in Valencia. It advertises more than 400,000 items and brand licenses, and a store-builder partner quotes EU delivery in 48 to 72 hours. Its WooCommerce plugin syncs stock and prices in real time, along with orders, carriers and tracking. On paper, it is the biggest European catalog you can plug into.

We could not read its official pricing page, and we will not repeat the figures circulating on blogs, which contradict each other. What is certain: you need a monthly subscription pack, a setup fee and a paid connector for your store. One seller describes paying three times before selling anything, €327 in total, and then finding only 12 products in stock out of 100+ selected. Payment runs through a prepaid wallet you top up, and merchants describe withdrawals taking from 19 days to 2 months.

On Shopify, one trap is expensive. BigBuy's official app calculates its shipping rates at checkout using third-party carrier-calculated rates. That feature is not included on Shopify's Basic plan; it is a paid add-on on Grow and included from Advanced. Several sellers paid BigBuy and then could not connect. The app is rated 1.0 out of 5, the WooCommerce plugin 2.3, and the company 2.9 across nearly 4,750 reviews. This year's complaints: 7,800 products out of stock overnight, packing slips without the seller's name, and Spanish text on product images. Not for you if you are starting on a tight budget.

Standout features
  • 400,000+ items advertised
  • Brand licenses
  • Real-time stock sync
+Pros
  • ✓Biggest catalog on this list
  • ✓Spanish warehouse, well placed for southern Europe
  • ✓Official WooCommerce plugin
−Cons
  • ✗Several fees before your first sale
  • ✗Shopify app rated 1.0, blocked on Basic
  • ✗Mass stockouts reported this year
Verdict

A huge catalog, but the riskiest supplier to start with. If you go ahead, check your Shopify plan first, only top up your wallet for the orders you have, and filter the catalog by stock before importing.

Your real cost

What each option really costs you

The figures below are our own math from official price lists. They exclude products, ads, payment fees and your store plan (Shopify Basic is $39 a month, $29 billed yearly).

  • Hertwill Standard: free for 3 days, then $28.99 a month on Shopify, plus shipping per order and per brand (€6.99 to €14.99 excluding VAT to France).
  • CJdropshipping, EU warehouses: $0 subscription; product, shipping and service fees per order. With private stock, add outbound fees and storage after 30 days.
  • Syncee Basic: $39.99 a month after a 3-day trial, 100 products from one supplier.
  • dropXL on Shopify: €30 a month per country plus $29 for the Woosa app. Three countries: €90 plus $29.
  • BrandsGateway GROW: $209 a month, or $155 billed yearly, non-refundable.
  • Spocket Professional: $59.99 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly.
  • BigBuy: subscription, setup and connector; one seller spent €327 before a first sale. On Shopify, add carrier-calculated rates, not available on Basic.

The cheapest subscription is not always the cheapest per order. At Hertwill, per-brand shipping weighs more than the plan as soon as your carts mix brands.

You are an EU-based seller

Hertwill first: excl.-VAT prices, shipping by country, 30-day returns, all in writing. Use OSS for your cross-border sales: under €10,000 a year of EU distance sales you charge your home VAT rate, above it the customer's rate.

You sell from the UK

Since Brexit, the UK is outside the EU. The €10,000 threshold does not apply to businesses established outside the EU, so you deal with EU VAT from your first sale (IOSS covers shipments up to €150). For UK customers, CJ's GB warehouse is your fastest route; Hertwill ships to the UK in 4 to 10 business days, without paying duties for the buyer.

You sell from the US

Selling into Europe from the US means EU VAT at the customer's rate, and an EU-stocked supplier avoids the new €3 duty. For American customers, though, European suppliers are the wrong answer: the US ended its $800 de minimis exemption for all countries, so use the US warehouses that Hertwill and dropXL also run.

You already have a winning product

Keep the product, change the warehouse. CJdropshipping ships from Poland or Germany if the variant is in stock there, with no subscription. Check the departure warehouse SKU by SKU, then show the delivery time you measured on your test order.

Your store is not on Shopify

Syncee covers WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce and Ecwid; Hertwill also works with WooCommerce and Wix. For PrestaShop, Shopware or Magento, Droppery, a Dutch B2B marketplace from €59 a month billed yearly, connects natively, but it mainly serves the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

You are just starting out

Run a test order on a free plan (Hertwill) or with no subscription (CJ). To pick your very first tool and budget your first three months, read our best dropshipping tools for beginners.
  • Ask where the specific product ships from, not where the company is registered.
  • Run your margin with real shipping to your main country and VAT, not just the wholesale price.
  • Check that your Shopify plan supports the connector app before paying the supplier.
  • Write down your test-order pass/fail rules before you place it.
  • Read each brand's returns policy before listing it.
  • Never leave a large balance sitting in a prepaid supplier wallet.
Before you pay

Six checks for a truly European supplier

Most roundups hand you a list and stop there. Almost none tell you how to verify that a supplier actually delivers what it promises. These six checks come from real traps we found on vendor pages and in merchant reviews.

01

Check where the product ships from, not where the company sits

Stock

A UK merchant put it plainly: there is a huge difference between being based in the UK and storing your products in the UK. A European address can front a parcel shipped from China. Even a real EU warehouse guarantees nothing: CJdropshipping itself says a warehouse in Germany does not mean that SKU is stocked there.

Two more cases worth knowing. One British platform often listed as "European" states in its own FAQ that all its suppliers are based in the USA. Another has warehouses in the UK, France and Italy but quotes 7 to 15 days for delivery. Ask for the ship-from country of each product in writing, and check again after every stockout.

The question to ask
Where does this exact SKU ship from?
02

Write the test-order rules before you place it

Quality

A test order is useless if you decide afterwards that it was "fine". One merchant recommends writing pass/fail rules first: maximum handling time, acceptable variance from the listing, packaging condition, tracking updates, and how the supplier responds if an item is defective.

Ship it to yourself, or to someone in your target country. Log the real delivery time day by day, and that is the number you display on your store. Hertwill's free plan (5 products, 10 orders a month) is enough for this.

Rules to write
5, before ordering
03

Sort out VAT and invoices before your first sale

Tax

Buying from a supplier in another EU country changes your invoice. With a valid EU VAT number, Hertwill invoices you at 0% and you account for the VAT yourself. Without one, you pay the supplier's VAT. Ask your accountant which applies to you before handing over your number.

On the sales side, the EU One-Stop Shop (OSS) lets you report VAT on cross-border EU sales in one place. Under €10,000 a year of EU distance sales, EU-established sellers charge their home rate; above it, the customer's rate. Non-EU sellers do not get that threshold. And demand an invoice for every purchase: one reviewer complains about never receiving any from a large wholesaler.

OSS threshold
€10,000 a year (EU sellers only)
04

Count the €3 duty you no longer pay

New in 2026

Since summer 2026, and until 2028, the EU charges a flat €3 customs duty per item on parcels worth €150 or less arriving from outside the EU. "Per item" means per tariff category: five T-shirts in one parcel pay €3, a T-shirt and a watch pay €6. A separate EU handling fee is planned, with no amount set yet.

A parcel that leaves an EU warehouse is not imported, so it pays nothing. That is the hard number behind EU suppliers: on a two-category cart, a competitor shipping from China pays €6 more, plus import VAT. Weigh those €6 against the wholesale price gap before you call an EU supplier too expensive. Careful, UK sellers: a parcel from a British warehouse to an EU customer is an import.

Flat duty
€3 per item, parcels ≤ €150
05

Know who pays for returns before your customer asks

Customers

EU customers have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. They only pay for the return if you told them so before they bought; otherwise it is on you. A faulty product is always your cost. Spell out who pays for returns in your terms.

Then read each supplier's policy. Hertwill accepts returns for 30 days at the cost of the original shipping, but some of its brands accept none, and then you handle the parcel yourself. One merchant quit vidaXL after its returns policy changed. Re-read policies every quarter.

Withdrawal period
14 days in the EU
06

Price the connection to your store

Budget

The supplier's price is not the tool's price. BigBuy's app needs carrier-calculated shipping, which Shopify Basic does not include. dropXL needs the $29-a-month Woosa app on top of €30 per country. For Italian fashion, the Brandsdistribution app costs $99 a month and Griffati's connector €79 a month, before a single product.

Add it all up before signing: supplier plan, connector app, store add-on and per-country accounts. Watch volume too: above 50,000 variants, Shopify caps imports at 1,000 new products a day.

FAQ · 9 questions

European dropshipping suppliers · FAQ

  • What is the best dropshipping supplier in Europe?
Hertwill, if you want European brands: prices excluding VAT, shipping rates published by country, a 0% VAT invoice with an EU VAT number and 30-day returns. CJdropshipping is the best pick to ship a proven China-sourced product faster from Poland or Germany, with no subscription. BigBuy has the biggest catalog but also the most complaints. Your niche matters more than the name: electronics and viral social-media products are hard to find in European stock.
  • Is BigBuy legit?
Yes, it is a real Spanish wholesaler with a large catalog, but reliability is its weak point. The company sits at 2.9 out of 5 across nearly 4,750 reviews, and its Shopify app at 1.0. Recent complaints cover mass stockouts, fees paid before any sale and slow wallet withdrawals. Before paying, confirm your Shopify plan supports carrier-calculated shipping rates: Basic does not include them.
  • How fast do European dropshipping suppliers deliver?
Usually 2 to 8 business days inside the EU, depending on the supplier. Hertwill quotes 3 to 8 business days in the EU and 4 to 10 to the UK; CJdropshipping quotes 2 to 3 days from a local warehouse. Those times only hold if the item is actually stocked in Europe: one supplier with warehouses in the UK, France and Italy still quotes 7 to 15 days. Only publish the time you measured on your test order.
  • Does the €3 EU customs duty apply to my store?
Only on parcels of €150 or less that enter the EU from outside it. If your supplier ships from a warehouse inside the EU, the duty does not apply. If you ship from China, or from the UK into the EU, it does: €3 per tariff category in the parcel, paid by whoever declares the goods, on top of import VAT.
  • Can a UK business dropship to EU customers after Brexit?
Yes, but with more paperwork than before. The €10,000 EU distance-selling threshold does not apply to businesses established outside the EU, so EU VAT is due from the first sale; IOSS lets you collect it at checkout on shipments up to €150. Using a supplier that already stocks inside the EU avoids customs on each parcel. In the other direction, UK VAT is charged at checkout on goods up to £135 sold to UK buyers.
  • Can I dropship from European suppliers to US customers?
You can, but it rarely makes sense now. The US ended its $800 de minimis exemption, so parcels from Europe pay US duties and fees like everyone else, and shipping across the Atlantic takes longer. Hertwill and dropXL both run US warehouses: use those for American customers and keep EU stock for EU buyers.
  • Are European suppliers worth the higher wholesale price?
Often, if you run the full margin. Wholesale prices are higher, and some merchants find margins too thin once shipping and the subscription are added. But an EU parcel pays no €3 duty per item and no import VAT, and it arrives in days instead of weeks. Also compare the wholesale price with the supplier's own retail price: some sell cheaper direct.
  • Can I put my own branding on parcels from EU suppliers?
Partly. Spocket includes branded invoices on every plan. Hertwill ships with no invoice in the box, in plain or brand packaging, with white label listed as coming soon. A sewn-in custom label on single units is close to impossible to find; a printed label or a hang tag is realistic. For fully branded products, print-on-demand produced in Europe is the easier route.
  • Who pays for returns with an EU supplier?
You do, toward your customer, unless your terms say the buyer pays. EU shoppers have 14 days to withdraw, and faulty items are always the seller's cost. Then the supplier's policy decides your own cost: Hertwill charges the original shipping cost for a return, and some of its brands refuse returns entirely.
