What is the best taxi dispatch software in 2026?
A regular calls, a hotel books online, a corporate client emails. Good dispatch software puts every job in one place, sends it to the right driver and bills it, without taking a cut of the fare.
Taxi dispatch software does three jobs. It takes the booking (website, app, phone), assigns it to a driver, and invoices the customer. The hard part is not finding a tool that does all three. It is finding one whose price still makes sense once you add a booking site, a passenger app, card payments and ten more cars.
The short answer, in score order. PlanYourDrive scores highest: a booking website, Stripe payments and zero commission for a flat €24 a month excl. VAT. Droovi is the most complete tool for a company working with drivers and partner operators, with a free plan. Both are French and bill in euros, so check language and invoices in the trial if you operate in the US or UK. Gazoop bills per driver, $14 a month with a booking site included. TaxiCaller is built for taxi firms, with a meter in the app and billing per active vehicle, no contract. Moovs is the modern pick for US limo and chauffeur operators. Limo Anywhere includes the passenger app in its top plan. Onde is for launching your own Uber-style app.
What most "best of" lists skip: the full bill. Setup fees, a passenger app sold separately, per-ride fees and card processing percentages can double the headline price. We went through each vendor's official pricing page to show you where the money goes.
The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.

The 7 taxi dispatch tools compared
The rank follows the score. A US or UK taxi firm will usually read the Gazoop and TaxiCaller cards first, a limo operator the Moovs and Limo Anywhere cards, and a solo driver the PlanYourDrive and Droovi cards. The two French tools bill in euros.

How we compared and scored
This page answers one question: which software lets you take a ride, dispatch it to a driver and bill it, without paying a commission, and what does it cost once your fleet grows? It does not cover telematics, maintenance or vehicle running costs. Our ranking of fleet management software handles that side.
We checked the core job for every ranked tool: online booking, dispatch to drivers, invoicing, and a pricing model you can actually read. Tools that publish no price at all, like iCabbi or Autocab, go to "other tools", even though they run large taxi operations. Uber and Bolt are not here either. They sell you riders for a commission; they do not manage the riders you already have.
Booking and dispatch weigh 25%, and so does the cost as your fleet grows, because that is where the tools differ most. Direct bookings without commission (booking site, passenger app, payments) weigh 20%. The free plan and invoicing weigh 15% each.
Then we read user reviews, starting with the negative ones. There are few: a few dozen per tool at most, sometimes none. What keeps coming up: driver apps that break after an update, access cut the moment you cancel during a trial, and funds held by built-in card processing.

PlanYourDrive
PlanYourDrive comes from a vendor based in Nantes, France, and targets the driver who wants to stop depending on ride-hailing platforms. The idea: website, booking module, payments and documents in one fixed price.
Standard costs €24 a month, or €240 a year (annual billing gives two months free). It covers 1 vehicle, up to 5 subcontracted drivers, 200 text messages a month and unlimited bookings. You get an editable website, a .plydr.com address (you can connect your own domain), Stripe payments and automatic documents sent to the customer. Jobs land in a dispatch web app with nothing to install.
Premium costs €34 a month, or €340 a year. Vehicles and subcontractors become unlimited, messages rise to 500 a month, support becomes priority, and an SEO audit of your current website is included.
The hidden strength: the price never moves with your revenue. No commission, no per-booking fee. At 50 rides a month or 300, you pay the same.
The catch: it is a tool for solo drivers and small fleets, aimed at the French market. No free plan, no native passenger app on the pricing page, and simpler dispatch than TaxiCaller or Droovi. Public reviews are very few.
Tip: start the 14-day trial with your own domain already bought, so you test the real customer journey from search to invoice.
- Booking website included
- No commission on rides
- Flat monthly price
- ✓All-in-one for a solo driver
- ✓Annual plan at 10 months' price
- ✓Subcontractors on Standard
- ✗Standard limited to 1 vehicle
- ✗No free plan
- ✗Built for the French market
Our top score: the simplest way for a solo chauffeur to take direct bookings and payments for a flat fee. Outside France, check that the language and invoices fit your market during the trial.
Droovi
Droovi is a French platform and the most complete small-company tool in this ranking. It covers dispatch, ride tracking, invoicing for both private and corporate clients, and an iOS and Android app. Plans are priced per user, monthly, before VAT, in euros.
The FREE plan is genuinely usable: 1 user, 30 rides a month, dispatch, tracking and invoicing. FLEX, at €29.90, opens 5 users and unlimited rides, flight tracking, an accounting software connection, subcontracting with a marketplace, and WhatsApp Business. PRO, at €99.90, goes up to 20 users and adds 20 AI auto-dispatches a month, subcontractor billing, driver pay and a dashboard. FLEET, at €199.90, reaches 50 users, 30 AI dispatches a month, vehicle maintenance and mileage, and driving-hours tracking.
The hidden strength: flight tracking from FLEX. For airport transfers, it stops you from sending a driver to wait for a delayed plane.
The catch: the booking site is not included. A driver site with booking costs €50 a month extra, and so do the booking widget, the white-label passenger app and the API. FLEX plus a site comes to €79.90 a month. Each extra user is €9.90.
Tip: if you stop paying, the account drops back to FREE and your data stays. You can run FLEX for a busy season without risking your history.
- Free plan with 30 rides a month
- Subcontracting marketplace
- Flight tracking from FLEX
- ✓Corporate invoicing on the free plan
- ✓Data kept when you downgrade
- ✓Driver pay on PRO
- ✗Booking site is €50 a month extra
- ✗AI dispatch capped monthly
- ✗Euro pricing only
The best fit for a company juggling drivers, partner operators and corporate accounts. Start on FREE and move to FLEX the month you pass 30 rides.
Gazoop
Gazoop is a UK dispatch system for taxis and private hire. You pay per driver, by the week, month or year, in "$" with no currency code. At least one active driver is required.
Standard costs $4 a week, $14 a month or $140 a year per driver. It already covers the basics: cloud dispatch, ASAP, scheduled and airport bookings, live GPS of your cars, a website with hosting, a booking engine, invoicing and customer accounts. Premium, at $18 a month, adds white-label booking web apps, iOS and Android apps under the Gazoop brand, recurring bookings, a booking kiosk, Stripe payments, prepayment and reports. Ultimate, at $20 a month, adds iOS and Android apps under your own brand (setup fees quoted separately), a browser-based phone system, end-of-ride signatures, CSV import, an API and VoIP.
The hidden strength: the subscription follows your real fleet. Three drivers on Standard cost $42 a month; a summer driver adds $14. Watch the per-booking fees: without your own Google Maps key, Gazoop adds $0.15 per booking, and flight tracking costs 20¢ per booking. Premium website hosting costs $10 to $14 a month.
The catch: managed support is an add-on and it is not cheap: $69 a month for 3 support requests on Basic, $299 on Business, $1,199 on Corporate. Above 20 drivers, pricing moves to a quote.
Tip: weekly billing exists. For seasonal drivers, it is the fairest way to pay only for the weeks they actually drive.
- Per-driver pricing, weekly option
- Booking site and engine included
- Live GPS of every car
- ✓Price follows your driver count
- ✓Airport bookings on Standard
- ✓Stripe payments on Premium
- ✗Per-booking fees (Maps, flights)
- ✗Your own branded apps on Ultimate only
- ✗Quote above 20 drivers
A good fit for a small taxi fleet that wants to pay per driver. For 3 drivers, budget $42 a month, against €34 excl. VAT for PlanYourDrive Premium or €29.90 for Droovi FLEX (5 users). Go Premium if you want to take card payments online. If you run a limo business with corporate accounts, Moovs fits better.
TaxiCaller
TaxiCaller is cloud dispatch software built for taxis first. It combines booking intake, job assignment, the driver app and a configurable taximeter, with unlimited dispatchers and drivers.
Its pricing model is the clearest in the market, even if the exact figure is not shown everywhere: you pay per vehicle per month, before VAT, with no setup fee and no contract. Above 20 vehicles, support offers discounts on request. Its only readable public price is for Quebec: the vendor lists a starting price of CA$29 per vehicle per month, or CA$350 paid once for the first year.
The hidden strength: parked cars cost nothing. A fleet that runs 8 cars on weekdays and 12 on Saturdays pays for the vehicles activated, not for a fixed tier.
The catch: the price for your own market is not readable on the official pricing page, so ask for it. Booking sites and passenger apps get less attention than at Gazoop. Public reviews are almost non-existent: its review profile is empty and unclaimed.
Tip: according to the vendor's help pages, a vehicle counts as soon as a driver logs into it during the month. Check this during the trial, and list the cars that really run.
- Configurable in-app taximeter
- Billed per active vehicle
- No contract, no setup fee
- ✓Unlimited dispatchers and drivers
- ✓Discounts above 20 vehicles
- ✓Built for taxi work
- ✗Price for your market on request
- ✗Check how vehicles are counted
- ✗Very few public reviews
The right pick for a real taxi company that needs a meter and solid dispatch without a commitment. Get the per-vehicle price for your area before the trial, and compare it with Gazoop at $14 per driver.
Moovs
Moovs is a US platform for limousine and chauffeured transportation companies. It covers customer booking, the driver app, dispatch and digital invoices. Prices are shown in "$".
The free Test Drive plan has no time limit and needs no card. It gives you 10 rides a month with customer booking, the driver app and basic dispatch. Standard costs $149 a month plus $299 setup, for 2 to 10 vehicles, with 3 seats, digital invoices, contract e-signature and a dispatch grid. Pro costs $199 a month plus $299, for 11 to 20 vehicles, with 5 seats, advanced dispatch, and dynamic and zone-based pricing. Enterprise starts at $999 a month above 20 vehicles, with QuickBooks and Samsara integrations and multi-location support.
The pricing page contradicts itself on some caps (vehicles, rides), so get yours confirmed in writing.
The hidden strength: users keep calling it easy to use. Several operators moved over from Limo Anywhere, citing missing support and forced price increases.
The catch: the bill climbs. Card processing is 3.4% + $0.30 on Standard and 3% + $0.30 on Pro. The iOS and Android passenger app costs $499 a month plus $1,000 setup. Users miss passenger-count pricing and say customer details are hidden on farmed-out jobs. One operator also reports funds held by the built-in payments: a single review, but a risk worth knowing.
Tip: stay on Test Drive while you run fewer than 10 rides a month. You can set up vehicles and drivers without paying the $299 setup.
- Free plan with no time limit
- Standard covers 2 to 10 vehicles
- Zone pricing on Pro
- ✓Users find it easy
- ✓Invoices and contracts signed online
- ✓QuickBooks and Samsara integrations
- ✗$299 setup fee
- ✗Passenger app at $499 a month
- ✗Card fees of 3% to 3.4%
A strong choice for a US chauffeur company, as long as you budget the setup, card fees and passenger app. For a small metered taxi firm, Gazoop or TaxiCaller costs far less.
Limo Anywhere
Limo Anywhere is one of the long-standing platforms of the US limo industry. It handles online reservations, dispatch and billing, with pricing that depends on your monthly ride volume, in US dollars.
Core starts at $99 a month for 150 rides, plus $0.25 per ride and $299 upfront. Plus starts at $249 a month, with $0.20 per ride and $599 upfront. Black starts at $549 a month, with $0.20 per ride, $899 upfront and the passenger app included. The base price climbs with volume: at 1,500 rides a month, Core moves to $225, Plus to $899 and Black to $1,599.
The hidden strength: Black includes the passenger app. At Moovs, the same app costs an extra $499 a month. For a large operator that wants one anyway, the math can flip.
The catch: three charges stack up (monthly base, per-ride fee, upfront fee). There is no contract, but cancelling takes 30 days' notice by email, and reactivating costs $25. Integrated payments are for US operators only. The few public reviews call it slow to respond, hard to learn and dated.
Tip: price it at your real volume, not the entry price. Add the per-ride fee to the base, then read the line for your volume: at 1,500 rides a month, the Core base already goes from $99 to $225.
- Ride-volume pricing grid
- Passenger app included on Black
- No long-term contract
- ✓Long track record in limo
- ✓Black covers large fleets
- ✓Cancel without penalty
- ✗Per-ride fees on top of the plan
- ✗Up to $899 upfront
- ✗Payments for US operators only
A logical pick for a large US limo company that wants the passenger app bundled. For a small operation, the stacked fees make it hard to justify against Moovs or Gazoop.
Onde
Onde is not a dispatch tool like the others on this list. It is a way to launch your own ride-hailing platform, with passenger app, driver app and dispatch under your brand. It answers the question "how do I build my own local Uber?".
Pricing starts with one-time fees in US dollars: $4,500 for Starting up, $8,500 for Professional, $23,000 for Expert, each with $99 a month of support. The Super App package costs $6,500 plus $259 a month. On top comes a percentage of ride fares, whose rate is not published, with a minimum of $0.10 per ride. Drivers and users are unlimited.
The hidden strength: you skip paying a dev shop to build a custom app. Several top Google results on this topic come from agencies selling exactly that build.
The catch: this is a launch project, not a management tool. The upfront fees are heavy, the percentage on rides takes back part of what you hoped to save by leaving the platforms, and its rate is not shown. An app also does not bring riders by itself: plan a marketing budget.
Tip: get the exact percentage in writing before you sign, and model it at 1,000 rides a month. That is the figure to compare with the commission you pay today.
- Passenger app under your brand
- Unlimited drivers and users
- Super App package
- ✓No custom development
- ✓Several launch tiers
- ✓Your brand, not a platform's
- ✗$4,500 minimum upfront
- ✗Ride percentage not published
- ✗Not built for a solo driver
The right tool if your plan is a local platform with a launch budget. To manage your own customers as an operator, Gazoop, TaxiCaller or Moovs do the job for a fraction of the price.
What dispatch software really costs as your fleet grows
The entry price on a pricing page tells you little. What matters is the unit you are billed on, and what gets added once you want a booking site, a passenger app or card payments. Here are three profiles, with official prices.
One or two cars
A flat fee wins. PlanYourDrive Standard costs €24 a month with the booking site, Premium €34 from the second car. Droovi FREE works below 30 rides a month, though its site costs €50 extra. Moovs Test Drive covers 10 rides a month for free. None of them takes a commission on your fares.
3 to 20 drivers
Per-driver or per-vehicle billing becomes the fairest. Gazoop Standard comes to $42 a month for 3 drivers and $140 for 10. TaxiCaller bills only the vehicles activated that month. Droovi FLEX covers 5 users for €29.90, then €9.90 per extra user, or PRO at €99.90 up to 20.
Your own branded passenger app
This is where the bill jumps. At Moovs, the passenger app is $499 a month plus $1,000 setup. Limo Anywhere includes it on Black, from $549 a month and $899 upfront. Onde asks $4,500 to $23,000 upfront plus a share of fares. Droovi offers a white-label passenger app at €50 a month.
- Is the booking site included or an add-on?
- Are you billed per driver, per vehicle, per user or per ride?
- Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
- What percentage is taken on card payments?
- What happens if you cancel during the trial?
- Can you still reach your data after you stop paying?
Other tools worth knowing
These names come up in every search. They are not ranked because they publish no pricing, or because they solve a different problem than managing your own rides.
Other tools
iCabbi: the platform for large taxi operations
Large fleetsiCabbi, from Ireland, runs booking, dispatch and driver apps for large taxi operations. Pricing is by quote. Public reviews come mostly from drivers using their company's app, and they are rough: jobs sent while already on a job, dropped connections, updates that break the app, and support that sends drivers back to their taxi company. If your firm is evaluating it, insist on a pilot with your own drivers.

Uber and Bolt: platforms, not software
Different jobSome lists call them taxi software. They are marketplaces: they bring you riders and take a commission on every ride. What makes a dispatch software choice go wrong
These mistakes show up in user reviews and in vendor terms. None of them is visible on the first line of a pricing page.
Pitfalls
Comparing entry prices without the add-ons
PriceThe headline price does not always include the booking site. At Droovi it is €50 a month extra. At Moovs, the passenger app costs $499 a month and $1,000 setup. Add up what you actually need before you compare.
- Do
- Price site + app + payments
Picking a plan that is too tight
LimitsPlanYourDrive Standard covers 1 vehicle. Droovi FREE stops at 1 user and 30 rides a month. Moovs Test Drive at 10 rides. A plan that blocks you on a busy Saturday costs more than it looks.
- Check
- Rides, vehicles, users
Cancelling a trial without reading the terms
ContractOne user saw a booking module switched off after asking to cancel during the trial, and lost bookings. At Limo Anywhere, cancelling needs 30 days' notice by email, and coming back costs $25. Ask in writing what happens before you click.
- Do
- Export bookings first
Ignoring the driver app
ReliabilityThe worst reviews in this category are not about the back office. They are about the app drivers look at while driving: duplicate jobs, dropped connections, an update that breaks everything. During the trial, have two drivers use it for a full week.
- Test
- One week of real rides
Running all your cash through built-in payments
Cash flowConvenient built-in payments can also hold your money: one operator reports a large sum held at Moovs. It is a single review, but the risk exists with any payment processor. At Limo Anywhere, built-in payments are for US operators only.
- Do
- Keep a second way to get paid
Switching to dispatch software without losing a ride
Moving from phone calls and group chats to software is where most firms stumble. Here is a five-step rollout that works with any tool.
Rollout

Your questions about taxi dispatch software
What is taxi dispatch software?
It is the system that takes a booking, assigns it to a driver and bills the customer. Most tools add a driver app with live GPS, a booking website or widget, and customer accounts. Some, like TaxiCaller, also include a taximeter in the app.
How much does taxi dispatch software cost?
It depends on the billing unit. Per driver, Gazoop starts at $14 a month. TaxiCaller bills per active vehicle with no contract; its only readable public price is for Quebec (CA$29 per vehicle per month), so ask for yours. Per plan, Moovs Standard is $149 a month plus $299 setup. Large-fleet systems like iCabbi and Autocab are quote-only.
Is there free taxi dispatch software?
Yes, with limits. Moovs Test Drive gives 10 rides a month with no time limit and no card. Droovi FREE gives 1 user and 30 rides a month with dispatch and invoicing. Beyond that, plan on a paid tier.
Does dispatch software include passenger and driver apps?
The driver app almost always. The passenger app often costs extra: $499 a month plus $1,000 setup at Moovs, included only in Black at Limo Anywhere, €50 a month at Droovi, and branded apps on Gazoop Ultimate with separate setup fees.
Is dispatch software better than a generic scheduling tool?
For more than one driver, yes. A calendar does not know where your cars are, cannot price a ride or send it to the closest driver, and does not issue ride invoices. Dispatch tools do all of that, starting at $14 per driver at Gazoop.
Can I build my own Uber-style app?
Yes, without hiring developers, through a platform like Onde: from $4,500 upfront plus $99 a month and a share of each fare. Budget for marketing too, since an app does not bring riders by itself.
Can I take card payments through the software?
Most tools support it, at a cost. Moovs charges 3.4% + $0.30 on Standard and 3% + $0.30 on Pro. Gazoop adds Stripe on Premium. Limo Anywhere's built-in payments are for US operators only. Keep a backup way to get paid in case funds are held.
