Chili Piper alternatives: where to go and how to switch without losing a lead

Seven destinations, one per reason for leaving, and a seven-step migration plan.

The short answer: RevenueHero if you want the same form routing without paying for 15 seats, Default if a bigger team wants routing and enrichment in one place, Calendly Teams if one routing form is enough, Cal.com for CRM-owner routing at $12 a seat, HubSpot Meetings if you already run HubSpot. Before you pick, check your contract: Chili Piper bills annually only, so your real exit date is your renewal date. We compared seven destinations and their published 2026 pricing, then wrote the migration plan.

The real reasons

Why teams leave Chili Piper

Chili Piper does its job well: reviewers praise its round robin and Salesforce integration. People leave over the pricing model and the contract, rarely over features. Six reasons, all read on the vendor's pricing page or from its customers in 2026.

A $15,000 minimum a year

Growth starts at $1,250 a month, about $15,000 a year, and Scale at $3,500 a month. No free plan, no trial listed. For a five-rep team, that's $3,000 per rep per year, where Cal.com Teams costs $144.

You pay for 15 seats even with 5 reps

Growth bundles 15 seats whether you use them or not. Past that, each seat is $45 a month ($50 on Scale). A 30-rep team pays about $23,100 a year on Growth. The pricing fits a 15-rep team, rarely any other size.

No monthly billing, long terms

"Monthly billing is not available", the pricing page says. Discounts push 2, 3 or 4 year deals (15%, 25% or 40% off). So you don't leave Chili Piper when you want to. You leave at renewal.

ChiliCal alone needs 200 seats

Just need booking links, no routing? ChiliCal is $12 per user, with a 200-seat minimum: $28,800 a year. It includes no routing or qualification. For a mid-size team, that plan doesn't really exist.

One more tool between your site and CRM

Chili Piper sits between your forms, your calendars and your CRM. When something breaks, each vendor points at the other: one HubSpot marketplace review says support is "one vendor blaming the other". Routing rules also need regular upkeep as the team changes.

Built for heavy inbound volume

Chili Piper targets B2B companies with lots of inbound and big sales teams. If you get 50 demo requests a month, much of what you pay for (visitor-level routing, AI credits, orchestration) sits idle. A $12 to $16 per seat routing form does the same job.

7 alternatives

Chili Piper alternatives, tool by tool

For each tool: why switch to it, who it's for, the catch, how to migrate, and what it costs. Prices are the vendors' published 2026 prices, and the ten-rep cost uses annual billing. LeanData and Qualified come up a lot but publish no pricing, so they're not ranked.

01

RevenueHero: the closest swap, minus the big contract

Closest to Chili Piper

Why switch to it. RevenueHero covers the job most teams actually bought Chili Piper for: a lead submits your demo form, gets qualified, gets matched to the right rep and sees that rep's calendar right away. The difference is the bill. You pay a platform fee ($79 a month on annual) plus $25 per rep who takes meetings. No seat minimum, admins are free, and a monthly plan exists ($99 platform, $35 a seat) with no lock-in.

Who it's for. Teams of 3 to 30 reps on HubSpot or Salesforce who mostly use Chili Piper's form routing. It also connects natively to Zoho, Freshsales and Attio.

Who it's not for. A large org that wants one vendor to route every Salesforce object (leads, accounts, opportunities). Look at Default, or a quote-only tool like LeanData.

The catch. Add-ons stack up on Advanced ($159 platform, $35 a seat): $20 per handoff seat for SDR-to-AE booking, $30 a month for spam prevention, $79 for enrichment. There's no free trial, so the monthly plan is your trial.

How to migrate. RevenueHero says more than 50 teams have moved over from Chili Piper, most of them at renewal, and it publishes a migration guide. Rebuild your routing rules one by one (see the plan below), then swap the Chili Piper script on your site form by form.

What it costs. Ten reps run $329 a month on annual, or $3,948 a year. Chili Piper Growth starts at $15,000 a year.

Default: routing, enrichment and booking for a growing team

For bigger teams

Why switch to it. Default goes wider than Chili Piper: forms, lead enrichment, queues, routing for any CRM object, round robin and booking links. If your stack has Chili Piper, an enrichment tool and a separate Salesforce router, Default can replace all three.

Who it's for. Teams of 10 to 30 reps with real inbound volume and a full-time RevOps owner.

Who it's not for. A small team leaving Chili Piper to save money. Growth costs $12,000 a year before the first seat.

The catch. Cost climbs with headcount. At 30 full seats, Default lands at $28,200 a year, more than Chili Piper Growth at $23,100. Contracts are annual, same as the tool you're leaving.

How to migrate. Migration services come with Enterprise ($25,000 a year). On Growth, help runs through a shared Slack channel.

What it costs. Growth is $12,000 a year, plus $540 a year per Routing + Scheduling seat or $240 per Scheduling-only seat. Ten reps: $17,400 a year.

Calendly Teams: when your routing fits in one form

Cheapest per seat

Why switch to it. Plenty of teams pay Chili Piper for three things: a booking link per rep, round robin, and a form that sends the lead to the right queue. Calendly Teams does all three and pushes meetings to Salesforce, for $16 a seat a month on annual. Your prospects already know the booking page, so nothing feels new on their side.

Who it's for. Teams of 2 to 30 reps with simple routing rules: company size, country, product.

Who it's not for. Teams that route by Salesforce account owner. That lookup needs Calendly Enterprise, from $15,000 a year with a 50-seat minimum, which puts you back at Chili Piper money.

The catch. "Equal" distribution has no weekly reset. On the Calendly community, a two-closer team saw 7 of 10 calls go to one person, and the official reply confirmed the counter only resets when the team changes. Data is hosted in the US.

How to migrate. Build one team event type per Chili Piper queue and one routing form per site form. Connect Salesforce or HubSpot before the first real booking.

What it costs. Standard is $10 a seat (no round robin), Teams $16: $1,920 a year for ten reps.

Cal.com: CRM-owner routing for $12 a seat

Best value

Why switch to it. It's the cheapest tool here that routes by CRM record owner. Teams ($12 per user a month on annual) includes weighted round robin (availability, weight, priority), routing forms and HubSpot or Salesforce owner lookup. It's open source, so you can even self-host.

Who it's for. Teams of 5 to 50 reps with a RevOps person who can spend a day on setup.

Who it's not for. A team with nobody to own the configuration. It does a lot, but someone has to set it up.

The catch. Hand-holding is lighter than at Chili Piper. SSO, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 sit on Organizations, at $28.

How to migrate. Use the 14-day trial to build one full queue (form, rules, round robin, CRM) and run 10 dummy bookings before touching your site. Our Cal.com and n8n guide covers post-booking automations.

What it costs. $1,440 a year for ten reps on Teams.

HubSpot Meetings: if HubSpot is already your CRM

Already in your CRM

Why switch to it. If your team lives in HubSpot, you may be paying twice for the same thing. HubSpot's meetings tool gives each rep a link, logs the meeting on the contact record and triggers sequences with no connector in between. The personal link is free in the CRM. And no more support tickets bouncing between two vendors: on the HubSpot marketplace, one Chili Piper customer describes exactly that, "one vendor blaming the other".

Who it's for. HubSpot teams under 10 reps, or teams already on Sales Hub Professional seats.

Who it's not for. Salesforce shops, or teams that want to route a lead before it exists in the CRM.

The catch. Round robin needs a Sales Hub Starter seat for every rep on the link. Weighted rotations only come with Professional. The HubSpot community thread on round robin has been open for years: it favors availability, so the least busy rep gets everything.

How to migrate. Create one group link per Chili Piper queue, attach it to your HubSpot forms so leads book right after submitting, then pull the Chili Piper script.

What it costs. Free for up to 2 users; Starter is $20 per seat a month at list price, often discounted to $7; Sales Hub Professional $100 per seat, Enterprise $150.

iClosed: built for high-ticket closing calls

One-call sales

Why switch to it. If your team doesn't run complex routing but sells in one or two calls (coaching, programs, services), iClosed is built for that: pre-booking qualification, SMS and email reminders on every plan.

Who it's for. Commission-driven closer teams on HubSpot, Pipedrive or Close.

Who it's not for. A B2B team on Salesforce with SDRs and enterprise AEs.

The catch. Conditional routing is Business only, at $120 a seat. Annual is advertised at 20% off, with no amounts shown.

How to migrate. Use the 7-day trial to rebuild your qualifying questions, connect the CRM, then swap the link on your sales page.

What it costs. Monthly, per seat: Startup $24, Growth $59 (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close), Business $120.

Zeeg: the EU-hosted option

Data in Germany

Why switch to it. If you sell into Europe and a customer's security review asks where booking data lives, Zeeg answers cleanly: a German company with encrypted data on servers in Germany. Its Business plan (€16 per user a month on annual, before VAT) includes round robin, routing forms and HubSpot or Salesforce.

Who it's for. US or UK teams of 3 to 20 reps selling to European buyers with strict data requirements.

Who it's not for. Teams that need Salesforce account-owner routing. The pricing page doesn't mention it, so ask on the demo.

The catch. Fewer integrations and a shorter track record than Chili Piper. Prices are in euros, so your bill moves with the exchange rate.

How to migrate. 14-day trial, no card: rebuild queues and forms, connect the CRM, then switch the site.

What it costs. Professional €10, Business €16 (€20 monthly), Scale €30, all before VAT. Ten reps on Business: €1,920 a year.

Migration plan

Migrate from Chili Piper in seven steps

Order matters. Step one happens three months before the term ends; the rest takes two to four weeks.

01

Read your order form first

3 months out

Chili Piper bills annually only and nudges you toward 2 to 4 year terms with 15% to 40% off. So your exit date isn't a technical decision, it's a contract date. Open the order form and write down three things: the end date, the non-renewal notice period, and how long you can export data after termination.

Send non-renewal in writing and get a dated confirmation. Missing it means another year at $15,000 or more.

Write down
end date, notice, export window
Risk
auto-renewal
02

Inventory everything that runs

Day 1

List every site form wired to Chili Piper, every queue and its rules, every round robin and its members, reps' personal links, SDR-to-AE handoffs, and the fields written to the CRM (meeting source, owner, status).

One row per item in a spreadsheet, with its equivalent in the new tool. That's your cutover checklist.

Time
half a day
Often missed
links in email signatures
03

Export meeting history

Before the end date

Export past and upcoming meeting activity, plus routing logs if your plan shows them. Booked meetings stay on reps' calendars, but routing history (who got which lead, and why) goes away with the account.

Also check that your CRM holds a record of every meeting. That record feeds your conversion reports, not Chili Piper.

Keep
meetings, routing logs
Stays
calendar events
04

Rewrite routing rules in plain language

The big one

Rules don't import anywhere. You rebuild them, so simplify while you're at it. Write each rule as one sentence ("US companies over 200 employees go to the enterprise queue") and recreate it in the new tool. Rules that haven't caught a lead in 3 months stay behind.

For round robin, set per-rep caps right away: Calendly's and HubSpot's equal distribution don't reset weekly.

Method

Set
per-rep caps
05

Connect the CRM and run 10 dummy bookings

Before cutover

Connect HubSpot or Salesforce, then book 10 dummy meetings with emails that cover your rules: a small account, an enterprise account, an out-of-territory country, a contact who already has an owner. For each one, check the assigned rep, the CRM record, the source field and the invite.

One wrong owner and a rep calls someone else's customer.

06

Run both tools side by side for a week

Week 1

Move one low-traffic form first and leave the rest on Chili Piper. Compare bookings and no-show rates for a week.

If the numbers hold, move the remaining forms one by one, then remove the Chili Piper script from your site: a half-rewired form can throw an error at the prospect.

07

Swap links and shut down cleanly

End of term

Update links in signatures, email sequences, sales pages and reps' LinkedIn profiles. Keep Chili Piper live until the last meeting booked through it, then disconnect the CRM integration so no field gets overwritten.

Migration pitfalls

What makes a Chili Piper exit go wrong

None of these is technical. They're calendar, rules or QA slips, and each one costs leads or a year of contract.

Switching without checking the contract date

The most expensive migration is the one that starts a month too late: the contract renews for a year. Put the notice deadline on your calendar today and start the work three months ahead.

Copying rules as-is

A three-year-old Chili Piper setup holds rules nobody remembers. Copying them just moves the mess. Rewrite them as plain sentences and drop any that haven't caught a lead in 3 months.

Forgetting SDR-to-AE handoffs

If SDRs book meetings for AEs, that flow is often your most valuable and least visible. At RevenueHero it's a $20 handoff seat; at Default, a $240-a-year Scheduling seat. Budget for it.

Skipping edge cases

The existing customer, the contact with no company, the out-of-territory country, the rep on PTO: these are what break routing. Run at least 10 dummy bookings that cover them and check the CRM after each.

Moving every form on the same day

One mistake on your main demo form and you lose a day of pipeline. Move the lowest-traffic form first, compare for a week, then the rest.

Comparing prices with different units

Chili Piper charges a bundle with 15 seats, RevenueHero and Default a platform fee plus seats, Calendly and Cal.com seats only. Run the math on your actual rep count over 12 months.

  • End date, notice period and export window taken from the order form
  • Non-renewal sent in writing, confirmation received
  • Inventory of forms, queues, round robins and handoffs
  • Meeting history and routing logs exported
  • Rules rewritten as sentences, dead rules dropped
  • Per-rep meeting caps set
  • CRM connected and 10 dummy bookings checked
  • One form moved and compared for a week
  • Chili Piper script removed, signature links updated
FAQ · 8 questions

Chili Piper alternatives: common questions

  • How much does Chili Piper cost in 2026?

At least $15,000 a year. Growth starts at $1,250 a month, billed annually only, with 15 seats; each extra seat is $45 a month. Scale starts at $3,500 a month with 30 seats, and Enterprise is quoted from 250 seats. ChiliCal alone is $12 per user, with a 200-seat minimum.

  • What's the cheapest Chili Piper alternative?

Cal.com if you need CRM-owner routing: $12 per user a month on annual, $1,440 a year for ten reps. For a single rep, both Cal.com and Calendly have free plans, though Calendly's has no round robin.

  • Is Calendly a real Chili Piper alternative?

Yes, if your routing fits in a form (country, size, product): Teams is $16 a seat. Chili Piper still wins on Salesforce account-owner routing and heavy inbound. At Calendly, that Salesforce lookup is Enterprise, from $15,000 a year. Our Calendly alternatives page covers the reverse move.

  • Can I pay for Chili Piper monthly?

No. The pricing page says monthly billing isn't available. Multi-year discounts (15% for 2 years, 25% for 3, 40% for 4) make the exit longer, so calculate savings over the whole term, not year one.

  • What's the best Chili Piper alternative for HubSpot?

Start with HubSpot's own meetings tool if every rep has a Sales Hub Starter seat. To route before the lead is in the CRM, RevenueHero or Cal.com Teams plug into HubSpot. Our HubSpot review breaks down the seats.

  • What's the best Chili Piper alternative for Salesforce?

RevenueHero for inbound form routing at a fraction of the cost, Default if you also want enrichment and routing for every object, Cal.com Teams for owner lookup on a tight budget. Calendly only routes by Salesforce owner on Enterprise.

  • How long does a Chili Piper migration take?

Plan on two to four weeks for a ten-rep team: a day of inventory, a few days rebuilding rules, a week running in parallel. The real deadline is the contract, so start three months before the end date.

  • Do I lose meetings already booked?

No. Booked meetings stay on reps' Google or Outlook calendars and on CRM records. What goes away is Chili Piper's routing history, so export it before the term ends. Our sales meeting scheduling ranking compares the tools on scores.
