Overview

What changes once Claude can read your sales calls

Attention records and transcribes your team's sales and customer conversations. With the connector, you stop scrubbing through recordings: you ask Claude a question in plain words, and it searches the calls, reads transcripts and scorecard results, runs an analysis across a batch of calls, and can cut a shareable clip of the moment that matters.

Find the objections of the quarter. A sales manager asks what prospects pushed back on in calls with one account: Claude narrows the calls with search_calls, then lets ask_attention analyze up to 25 of them at once.

Prepare a coaching session. Before a one-to-one, Claude opens a rep's recent call with get_call_details, reads the transcript and the scorecard results, and compares them with the scorecards defined in get_scorecards.

Share the proof, not a summary. When a customer explains exactly why they chose you, create_snippet turns that passage of the recording into a clip you can pass along.

What it will not do through this connector: reach the other tools of Attention's own reference, administration tools included, since none of them is on the directory sheet. Nothing fires by itself after a call either; Claude acts only while it answers you. The Integrations hub lists the other apps we cover.

Vocabulary

Five words to know first

The vocabulary around this connector, in one minute.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
One named thing a connector lets Claude do. Claude picks the ones it needs by itself, and the directory lists each by name.
Authorization
Attention's consent screen, where you hand Claude the access it will use afterward. Granted once per person, and revocable.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before it changes something in an account, shown in the conversation when it matters.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Attention.
Connect

Connect Attention to Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Attention in Claude

Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and look for Attention. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner must enable the connector before members can each sign in with their own account.

  2. 02

    Sign in to Attention

Click Connect on its row, then sign in on the Attention page that opens. That identity is the one every later tool call runs under. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect and connect again.

  3. 03

    Check the consent screen

Read Attention's consent screen before you accept. It belongs to Attention, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can withdraw that access later from your connector settings.

Tools

The 10 tools, split by what they do

Attention gives Claude 10 tools: 9 that read your account, 1 that change something in it.

Two groups: what Claude reads, and the single thing it creates. Attention's own reference describes every tool, so nothing below is guessed. Names stay exactly as Claude shows them.

What Claude reads (9)

9 tools

Nine tools that look up calls, analyses, scorecards, teams and people without changing them.

search_calls

Finds recorded calls by date, rep, team, keyword, opportunity, CRM field or transcript content, across what your account can see.

When it helps
you want every discovery call that mentioned a competitor last month.
Watch out
a call you cannot see in Attention will not show up here either.

get_call_details

Opens one call and brings back its transcript, its scorecard results and the insights Attention extracted, so Claude can quote what was actually said.

When it helps
before a pipeline review, you need the exact wording a prospect used about budget.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

ask_attention

Runs an AI analysis across up to 25 calls in one request, or across all the calls in a deal, and returns the answer to Claude.

When it helps
you want the recurring pricing objections from a rep's last batch of demos.
Watch out
beyond 25 calls outside a single deal, split the question.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

get_org_overview

Returns a summary of your organization's roles and team structure in Attention, a quick map before Claude digs into a specific team.

When it helps
a new sales ops hire wants to understand how the teams and roles are laid out.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

get_scorecards

Lists all the scorecards defined in your Attention workspace, the grids your team uses to rate calls.

When it helps
before reading a rep's results, you check which scorecard applies to discovery calls and which to demos.
Watch out
it lists the grids themselves; a rep's actual scores come from opening a call.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

list_teams

Brings back every team in your Attention organization along with the hierarchy between them, parent teams and the ones nested underneath.

When it helps
you want to compare calls from the SMB and enterprise teams and need their exact names first.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

get_team

Shows the details of a single team and its sub-teams, narrower than the full list. It sits between list_teams, which covers the whole hierarchy, and get_team_members, which names the people.

When it helps
a regional director asks Claude how the EMEA team is split before reviewing its calls.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

get_team_members

Lists who belongs to a given team, with each person's role, so Claude knows whose calls to look at.

When it helps
you are preparing a weekly coaching round and need the roster of one squad.
Watch out
it covers one team per call; the wider map comes from get_org_overview.

Sourcedocs.attention.com · October 1, 2026 ↗

list_reps

Returns the users of your organization, optionally filtered, so Claude can match a name you mention to the right person in Attention.

When it helps
you ask about "Sam's calls" and two people share that first name.
Watch out
the list stops at the people your own account is allowed to see.

What Claude creates (1)

1 tool

One tool that makes a shareable clip from a recording. No source describes a confirmation for it, so the general rule below applies.

create_snippet

Approval: see the rule

Cuts a shareable clip out of a call recording, so a key moment can be passed to someone who will never sit through the full call.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a specific confirmation for this tool; the general approval rule below covers it.
When it helps
product wants to hear a customer explain a missing feature in their own words.

Approvals

What Claude checks with you first

By default, Claude stops and asks before each action it carries out on an account for someone. The prompt shows up in the conversation at the moment it matters.

On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without a prompt each time. They can also cap what a connector does for the whole organization, for example keeping call lookups open and blocking clip creation, and nobody gets around that from a personal account. Attention adds its own layer: every tool call runs under your identity, your roles, your team memberships and your data scope. If you cannot see a call in the app, Claude cannot read it.

Plans

Which plans include it

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows plan availability. Connector by connector, that answer is published nowhere: it is a real gap in the catalog.

The general rule is what is published: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner opens a connector for the organization before members can each connect. For Attention's live state, check its sheet in the official directory. Only Attention documents this connector; no Claude help page covers it.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you, so nothing happens on its own when a call ends or a deal moves.

The directory sheet lists 10 tools, while Attention's own reference documents 68 across 15 groups. Only the 10 on the sheet are covered here; the list is an observed floor, and an administrator can open actions no public sheet shows. The partner badge in the directory is not a security audit, and Anthropic states on every sheet that it neither picks a publisher's tools nor guarantees them. To compare with another sales-side connector, see the Claude activecampaign connector page.

FAQ

Questions about the Claude Attention connector

01What can Claude do with the Attention connector?
Claude can search and read your recorded sales calls and the workspace around them. Nine tools find calls by date, rep, keyword or transcript, open a call's transcript and scorecard results, run an AI analysis across up to 25 calls or a whole deal, and list scorecards, teams, members and reps. A tenth tool creates shareable clips from recordings. Attention documents each of them in its own reference, so none is guessed from a name.
02Can Claude change anything in Attention?
One tool on the directory sheet creates something: create_snippet, which cuts a shareable clip from a call recording. The other nine only read. Attention's own reference documents 68 tools, administration included, but only these 10 appear on the Claude sheet. Making a clip relies on the mcp:write scope you grant on Attention's consent screen. That list is what the public sheet shows today, not a ceiling for every organization, since an administrator can open other actions.
03Does Claude ask before it creates a clip?
By default, Claude asks for confirmation before each action it takes on an account for someone. No source describes a specific prompt for create_snippet, so that general rule is what covers it. In an organization workspace, owners decide whether members may let some actions through without being asked each time, and they can block clip creation for everyone while keeping call searches open. Attention's consent screen also asks you for a separate write scope.
04Which Claude plans is the Attention connector available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the 819 directory sheets shows it. The general rule is that remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, with an Owner or Primary Owner enabling them first on Team and Enterprise. Attention's documentation repeats that owner step and names no other condition. The connector's sheet in the directory shows its current state for your account.
05Can Claude listen to every call in our organization?
No, only the calls you can already see. Attention enforces the same permissions as your account: every tool call runs under your identity, your roles, your team memberships and your data scope. If a call is invisible to you in the app, it is invisible to Claude too. A manager with access to several teams will therefore get broader answers than a rep, from the same question. Ask the same thing from two accounts and the answers can differ.
06How many calls can Claude analyze at once?
Up to 25 calls in a single request, according to Attention's reference for ask_attention, or all the calls attached to one deal. For a broader question, such as a whole quarter across a large team, Claude has to split the work: narrow the calls with search_calls first, then analyze them in batches. The number comes from Attention's documentation, not from a test of ours. Each analysis also stays inside your own identity and data scope.
07Claude or an automation tool for Attention?
They do different jobs, so this is not a ranking. Claude with this connector is for questions in a conversation: what came up in last week's calls, how one rep handles pricing, which moment to clip. An automation tool runs a scenario by itself when something happens. No Attention tool on the sheet starts on its own when a call ends, so pushing every call summary somewhere belongs to an automation platform.
