What changes once Claude can work in Jotform
Building a form stops being a drag-and-drop session. You describe what you want to collect, an employee survey with a rating scale and an optional comment box for instance, and Claude generates the form in Jotform, which you then refine by talking. When the answers come in, Claude reads and sums them up for you.
Go from a sentence to a working form. create_form builds the form from your description, and edit_form reworks questions, logic, design and response settings when you ask for changes.
Turn responses into a readable summary. get_submissions and list_submissions pull the answers, and analyze_submissions turns them into statistics, trends and recurring themes, such as the most requested features in a feedback form.
Send the form to the right person. assign_form invites someone by email to fill in a form you own, with a personal message.
What the connector does not do: run on its own. No tool reacts when a new submission lands; Claude only works while it is answering you. If each new response should create a lead or send a notification automatically, that is automation territory, covered on our Jotform n8n integration and Jotform Make integration pages. A different job, not a competing one, and the two sit well side by side.

Connect Jotform to Claude in three steps

Find Jotform in your connectors
Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and look up Jotform in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable it for the organization before members can each sign in.

Start the connection
Click Connect on the Jotform row, then log in to your Jotform account in the window Jotform opens itself. If the link breaks later, click Disconnect and connect again from the same place.

Read Jotform's permission screen
Check what the screen says the access will cover before you accept. That screen belongs to Jotform, not to Claude, and it sets the scope. You can also remove the access later from your Jotform account settings.

Pulls the responses of one form with their answers and details, filtered by date, sorted and in pages, so Claude works on the real data rather than a sample.
search
Finds your forms by words in their title or other criteria and returns the identifiers and links Claude needs for the next step, whether that is a preview or the responses.
fetch
Opens a single form or a single response by its identifier, for a closer look or a follow-up question. The identifier usually comes from an earlier search, which returns the IDs Claude needs.
list_submissions
Shows responses from one or several forms in an interactive table inside the conversation, where you can browse and filter them.
display_form
Opens an interactive preview of an existing form so you can check its fields and question wording, without the form itself being touched.
analyze_submissions

What Claude asks before it acts
Four tools change your account, and no source describes a confirmation for any of them specifically.
By default, Claude stops and asks for your confirmation before any action it takes on an account for you, right in the conversation. That default is what covers creating or editing a form, sending in a response and sending an invitation. On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let some actions skip the prompt, and they can limit the connector for the whole organization, reading only for instance. Claude works with your Jotform rights and nothing beyond them. On Jotform's side, you can review or end the connection under Account, Connected Apps, Jotform MCP, Clients.
Which plans include the Jotform connector
None of the 819 directory sheets shows availability by plan, so there is no official connector-by-connector answer, for Jotform or any other.
Anthropic's general rule: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and desktop extensions install on Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector for the organization first. For the current state on your account, check the Jotform sheet in the official directory, the only place that shows it.
What the connector will not do
This connector is documented by its publisher only: no Claude help article or Anthropic developer page covers it, so the limits come from Jotform.
A connector does not watch your forms: its tools only run while Claude answers you, never when a response arrives. The directory's verification badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not choose the tools a publisher exposes or vouch for them. Here the publisher is Jotform itself, which also notes that the connector is still growing. The practical limits below all come from Jotform's own developer page, read in September 2026.
