Claude Unify connectorWhat Claude can do in your Unify account.

The Claude Unify connector exposes 50 tools. 23 read your go-to-market data, 27 change it: records, Sequences, enrollments, tasks, and runs of Unify's own Agent. Below: what Claude can check, what it can launch or delete, and what limits it.

Verified Trustpilot reviews · AI, automation & growth agency

Overview

What it changes for an outbound team

Instead of switching to Unify Chat, you ask Claude. It can hand the task to Unify's own Agent, the one behind Unify Chat, or work directly on your records, Sequences and tasks. Unify states that anything you can ask Unify Chat, you can ask through the connector, with the same credits.

Qualify an account without leaving the chat. run_agent starts a research run on a company, poll_agent tells you when it is done or needs an answer, and read_agent_results brings the verdict back.

Keep cadences under control. list_sequence_enrollments shows who is in which Sequence, pause_sequence_enrollment holds one prospect who asked for a break, and create_sequence_enrollment adds a new contact after a good call.

Tidy the data. upsert_object_record creates or updates a record without duplicating it, and update_task hands a sick colleague's tasks to someone else.

What the sheet does not tell you. Twenty-seven of these tools change your workspace, including deleting objects, records and Sequences, and an Agent run keeps working in the background once started. Each run spends your Unify chat credits. Claude only reaches what your own Unify user can see. And nothing is triggered by an event: no tool wakes up when a reply lands. For event-driven flows, an automation tool does that job; the Integrations hub covers it.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary in one minute

Five words you will run into while plugging Unify in.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already use, so Claude can work there while answering.
Tool
One named action a connector gives Claude. Claude decides which ones it needs; the directory sheet lists them by name.
Authorization
The service's own login screen, where you give Claude the access it will use. Granted once per person, and revocable.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before completing something that changes your account, shown in the chat at the right time.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on; it is what lets an assistant such as Claude talk to an outside service.
Connect

Plug Unify into Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Unify in Claude

In Claude's settings, open Customize, then Connectors, and find Unify. Unify points to the verified official connector. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable it first so each member can sign in.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on its row, then log in with your Unify account in the window Unify opens. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect, then connect it again from the same row.

  3. 03

    Read the authorization screen

Check Unify's authorization screen before accepting. It belongs to Unify, not to Claude, and it defines what the access covers. You can take it back later from your Unify account too.

Tools

The 50 tools, sorted by what they do

Unify gives Claude 50 tools: 23 that read your account, 27 that change something in it.

Two groups: what Claude reads, and what it changes or launches. Names stay as Claude shows them, in English.

What Claude reads (23)

23 tools

Twenty-three tools that consult records, Sequences, tasks, runs and your own context without changing them.

find_unique_object_record

Finds exactly one record from values that are unique in Unify, such as an identifier your team treats as one of a kind, instead of searching loosely.

When it helps
you hold a value your workspace marks as unique and want the one matching record, not a list of near matches.
Watch out
it expects values set up as unique; a loose name will not do the job.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_me

Returns your own Unify profile and the workspace you are connected to.

When it helps
right after connecting, you check that Claude is signed in as you and pointed at the right workspace before asking anything else, so every later answer comes from the workspace you meant.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_object

Reads one object definition by its API name. In Unify, objects are the standard and custom record types your data lives in.

When it helps
you want to know how the custom object your ops lead built is described before asking Claude to use it.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_object_attribute

Reads one attribute of an object by its API name, the field-level detail behind a column: what it is called and what it expects.

When it helps
you want to confirm what a 'tier' attribute on accounts expects before Claude fills it on a batch of records.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_object_attribute_option

Returns a single option of a select attribute, one of the values a dropdown field accepts.

When it helps
you need to know the exact option behind 'Tier 1' before a rep uses it in a filter.
Watch out
it reads one option; list_object_attribute_options gives the full set.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_object_record

Opens one record by its ID and returns what Unify holds on it, so you can read a company or a person without leaving the chat.

When it helps
a teammate pastes a record ID in chat and you want the details without opening Unify.
Watch out
it needs the exact ID; to search by a unique value, find_unique_object_record fits better.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_sequence_enrollment

Reads one enrollment, meaning one person's place in one Sequence, by its ID, with the state it is in.

When it helps
a prospect replied angrily and you want to see exactly which Sequence they were in and in what state.
Watch out
it reads one enrollment; for everyone in a cadence, use list_sequence_enrollments.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_agent_runs

Lists the Agent runs you started through run_agent, newest first.

When it helps
you launched three research runs yesterday and want to find the one that finished with an error.
Watch out
it only covers runs you started yourself, not your teammates'.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_object_attribute_options

Lists every option available on a select attribute, the full set of values a dropdown field accepts in your workspace.

When it helps
before asking Claude to segment accounts by industry, you check the exact industry values your workspace uses.
Watch out
it lists the allowed values, not how many records carry each one.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_object_attributes

Lists the attributes defined on an object, so you see which fields exist before reading or filling them.

When it helps
a new sales ops hire wants a quick tour of what is tracked on each person record.
Watch out
it describes fields, not the data inside them.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_objects

Lists the standard and custom objects of your Unify workspace, the record types everything else hangs from.

When it helps
you inherit a workspace and want the map of record types before digging in.
Watch out
custom objects appear next to standard ones, so names alone may not tell you who created them.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_sequence_enrollments

Lists enrollments across your Sequences, meaning who is in which outbound cadence and where they stand.

When it helps
you want to see who is still active in the Q3 webinar follow-up before adding anyone new.
Watch out
a person can sit in more than one Sequence, so read the whole list before concluding.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_sequence_steps

Lists the steps of a Sequence, in order, so you can read the cadence from start to finish.

When it helps
a manager wants to review a new rep's Sequence, step by step, before approving it.
Watch out
it reads the plan; how each step performs is a separate question.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_sequences

Lists your Sequences, the multi-step outbound programs Unify runs, with enough detail to pick the one you need.

When it helps
you want a quick inventory before asking which of your active Sequences have the highest reply rate, as Unify's own examples suggest.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_tasks

Lists outreach and action-item tasks, the work waiting on your team.

When it helps
on Monday morning you ask which calls and follow-ups are due for your territory this week.
Watch out
it lists tasks; opening one in detail goes through retrieve_task.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

load_datatable

Loads one of your Unify DataTables with its columns and a page of rows, so Claude can work on a list you built earlier.

When it helps
yesterday's list of fintech companies is ready and you want Claude to shortlist the ten best fits.
Watch out
only tables you own are reachable, not a colleague's, even in the same workspace.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

load_general_context

Loads a version of your business context: company description, ICP, products, pricing and similar details Unify's Agents use as grounding.

When it helps
you want Claude's drafts to reflect the same positioning your Unify Agent already uses.
Watch out
it loads one specific version of that context.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

load_mailbox_voice_profile

Loads the voice profile of one of your connected mailboxes, the tone Unify uses to personalise outbound copy.

When it helps
you ask Claude to draft a first email and want it to sound like you rather than generic sales copy.
Watch out
the mailbox must be yours, connected, and already analysed, or the call fails.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

poll_agent

Checks where an Agent run stands: still running, waiting for your answers, finished or failed.

When it helps
you started a long prospecting run and want to know whether it needs input from you.
Watch out
keep polling while the run is pending; results come from read_agent_results once it is done.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

read_agent_results

Reads the final answer, or its error, once an Agent run has finished or failed.

When it helps
the research run on a target account is done and you want the verdict in the chat.
Watch out
it errors if the run has not reached a final status yet.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

retrieve_sequence

Opens one Sequence by its ID and returns how it is set up.

When it helps
a rep mentions a Sequence ID in a message and you want its setup summarised without logging in.
Watch out
it needs the ID; if you only have a name, list_sequences helps you find it first.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

retrieve_sequence_step

Opens one step of a Sequence by its ID, so you can reread its content on its own.

When it helps
one step gets far fewer replies than the rest and you want to reread exactly what it contains.
Watch out
it covers a single step; the full cadence comes from list_sequence_steps.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

retrieve_task

Opens one task by its ID and returns its details, such as who it is for, its priority and its due date.

When it helps
a task notification landed in Slack and you want its details from Claude before acting on it.
Watch out
it needs the ID; browsing open work goes through list_tasks.

What Claude changes (27)

27 tools

Twenty-seven tools that create, edit, pause, delete or launch things in Unify. No source describes a confirmation specific to any of them: the general rule below applies.

answer_question

Approval: see the rule

Sends your answers to the questions a paused Agent run asked, then lets the run resume.

What Claude asks for
no confirmation specific to this tool is described; the general approval rule further down applies.
When it helps
the Agent building your list asks which region to focus on, and you answer North America from the chat.
Watch out
the run only resumes once every pending question has an answer.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

cancel_agent

Approval: see the rule

Stops an Agent run that is still going.

What Claude asks for
like any change, it falls under the default approval rule; Unify publishes nothing more specific.
When it helps
you realise the prospecting prompt had the wrong industry and want the run stopped before it goes further.
Watch out
Unify says it is safe to call even after a run has finished.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

complete_task

Approval: see the rule

Marks a task as completed.

What Claude asks for
the approvals section below covers it; no dedicated prompt is documented.
When it helps
you just made the call and want the task closed without switching tools, then move on to the next one on your list.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_object

Approval: see the rule

Creates a custom object in your workspace, a new type of record.

What Claude asks for
approval follows the general rule; the sources describe no extra step.
When it helps
your team starts tracking partner agencies and wants them as their own record type.
Watch out
it changes your workspace's data model, so agree on it with whoever owns Unify's setup.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_object_attribute

Approval: see the rule

Adds an attribute, a new field, to an object.

What Claude asks for
Claude relies on the default confirmation for this; nothing tool-specific is published.
When it helps
marketing wants an 'event source' field on people records before the next trade show.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_object_attribute_option

Approval: see the rule

Adds an option to a select attribute, a new value in a dropdown field.

What Claude asks for
the standard approval applies; Unify documents no separate check here.
When it helps
a new market opens and the region field needs a value for it.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_object_record

Approval: see the rule

Creates a record, for example a new company or person.

What Claude asks for
nothing beyond the general approval rule is described for record creation.
When it helps
a rep met a prospect at a dinner and wants them in Unify before the details fade.
Watch out
if the record may already exist, upsert_object_record avoids duplicates.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_sequence_enrollment

Approval: see the rule

Enrolls a person in a Sequence.

What Claude asks for
covered by the default confirmation; the publisher lists no dedicated prompt for enrollments.
When it helps
after a good first call, you ask Claude to enroll the contact in your post-demo Sequence.
Watch out
check both the person and the Sequence named in the request before accepting.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_object

Approval: see the rule

Deletes an object from your workspace.

What Claude asks for
it goes through the general approval rule; Unify does not describe a stronger safeguard.
When it helps
a custom object created for a test is cluttering the model and nobody uses it.
Watch out
it removes a whole record type, which is a heavy change to make from a chat.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_object_attribute

Approval: see the rule

Deletes an attribute from an object, removing that field from the record type.

What Claude asks for
the default approval rule governs it; nothing more precise is published.
When it helps
a field that was never filled is confusing new reps and you want it gone.
Watch out
anything stored in that field goes with it, so check nobody relies on it.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_object_attribute_option

Approval: see the rule

Removes an option from a select attribute, so the value can no longer be picked.

What Claude asks for
expect the general confirmation described below; the sources add nothing.
When it helps
a discontinued product is still offered as a value in the product field.
Watch out
records already carrying that value deserve a look before you remove it.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_object_record

Approval: see the rule

Deletes a record by its ID.

What Claude asks for
under the general approval rule; no source details a confirmation specific to deletions.

Watch out
make sure you have the right ID before accepting.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_sequence

Approval: see the rule

Deletes a Sequence.

What Claude asks for
the approvals section below applies here too; nothing tool-specific is written.

Watch out
consider pause_sequence first if you might need it again.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_sequence_enrollment

Approval: see the rule

Cancels one person's enrollment in a Sequence, taking them out of that cadence.

What Claude asks for
Claude uses the default confirmation; Unify publishes no separate one.
When it helps
a prospect asked not to be contacted again and you want them out of the cadence now.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_task

Approval: see the rule

Deletes a task outright rather than closing it.

What Claude asks for
no source goes beyond the default rule, which covers this deletion.
When it helps
a duplicate task was created by mistake and clutters the rep's list.
Watch out
if the work was actually done, complete_task keeps a cleaner history.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

pause_sequence

Approval: see the rule

Pauses a Sequence along with its enrollments.

What Claude asks for
the general approval rule applies; no dedicated step is documented for pausing.
When it helps

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

resume_sequence

Approval: see the rule

What Claude asks for
the confirmation described in the approvals block applies; nothing specific is published.
When it helps

Watch out
everyone paused with it restarts, so check the list first.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

Approval: see the rule

Resumes one person's paused enrollment, leaving the rest of the Sequence as it is.

What Claude asks for

When it helps
the prospect is back from leave and their cadence can pick up where it stopped.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

run_agent

Approval: see the rule

Starts Unify's Agent, the one behind Unify Chat, on a plain-language task: research, list building, Sequence enrollments, a Play or CRM updates. It returns a run ID and keeps working in the background.

What Claude asks for
no dedicated confirmation is documented; the default rule covers the call itself.
When it helps
you ask Claude to research a target account and tell you whether it fits your ideal customer profile.
Watch out
each run spends chat credits and is rate-limited per user.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_object

Approval: see the rule

Changes an object's display name or description, the labels your team sees for a record type.

What Claude asks for

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_object_attribute

Approval: see the rule

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_object_attribute_option

Approval: see the rule

Approval: see the rule

Updates a record by its ID, correcting or completing what Unify holds on a company or a person.

What Claude asks for
the general approval rule applies; no dedicated confirmation is published.
When it helps
after a call you learn the account moved to a new tier and want the record corrected.
Watch out
it overwrites the values you change, so double-check the ID first.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_task

Approval: see the rule

Changes a task's assignee, priority or due date without recreating it.

What Claude asks for
nothing beyond the default approval rule is described for task edits.

a rep is out sick and you want their urgent tasks moved to a colleague.

Sourcedocs.unifygtm.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

upsert_object_record

What Claude asks for
under the default confirmation, like the other record writes; nothing specific is documented.
When it helps
you import a list of accounts, some already in Unify, and want no duplicates.
Watch out
the result depends on how unique attributes are set up in your workspace.

Approvals

What Claude asks before acting

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before each action it takes on an account for you. The prompt appears in the chat, right when it matters.

On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without being asked every time. They can also cap what a connector may do for the whole organization, keeping reading open and closing writing, for example. Nobody overrides that from their own account. On Unify's side, every call is scoped to the user and workspace that signed in: Claude reads or acts only on data that user can already see. One nuance matters here: once an Agent run starts, it works in the background inside Unify.

Plans

Which plans it is available on

Among the 819 sheets in the official directory, none shows availability per plan. The per-connector answer is not published anywhere: a real gap in the catalogue.

The general rule is public: remote connectors are open to every user on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector for the organization before members can sign in. On Unify's side, the connector uses the same credits as Unify Chat, with no separate cost according to Unify. For the current Claude-side state, check the connector's sheet in the official directory.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you: nothing starts when a prospect replies, a record changes or a Sequence step fails.

The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise: an administrator can open actions that appear on no public sheet. The partner badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic states on every sheet that it neither chooses a publisher's tools nor guarantees their behaviour. Unify is documented only by its publisher here. Unify's FAQ also mentions recurring scheduled chats; no tool on this sheet sets one up, so this page does not cover them. For a different sales tool, see the Claude activecampaign connector.

FAQ

FAQ about the Claude Unify connector

01What can Claude do with the Unify connector?
Claude can work in your Unify workspace from the chat, in two ways. It can start Unify's own Agent, the one behind Unify Chat, on research, list building, enrollments or CRM updates, then follow the run and read its results. It can also act directly on objects, records, Sequences, enrollments and tasks: read them, create them, update them, pause or resume cadences, and delete things. It also loads your business context and your mailbox's writing voice.
02Can Claude create, send or delete things in Unify?
Yes. Twenty-seven of the fifty tools change your workspace: creating and updating records, objects and fields, enrolling people in Sequences, pausing or resuming them, managing tasks, and deleting objects, records, Sequences, enrollments and tasks. run_agent can also lead the Agent to write updates back to your CRM, as Unify describes, and that work continues in the background after the call has returned its run ID. That makes this a connector to use with care, reading each proposal before you approve it.
03Does Claude ask before changing something in Unify?
By default, yes: Claude asks for confirmation before each action it takes on an account for you. No source describes a confirmation specific to one Unify tool, so this default rule covers all twenty-seven writes. Keep in mind that run_agent starts a run that continues in the background, so what the Agent does next happens after that approval. On Team or Enterprise, owners can let actions through or close writing for everyone.
04Which Claude plans is it available on?
No official source publishes availability plan by plan for each connector, and no directory sheet shows it. The general rule says remote connectors are open to every user on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, with an Owner enabling them first on Team and Enterprise. Unify adds that the connector uses the same credits as Unify Chat. The directory sheet remains the only place with the current Claude-side state for your own account.
05Does Claude see all of our Unify workspace?
No. Unify scopes every call to the user and workspace that authenticated the connection, so Claude reads or acts only on what that user can already see in Unify. DataTables and mailbox voice profiles are narrower still: only the ones you own. A colleague connected with their own account gets their own view. On the Claude side, a Team or Enterprise owner can also restrict what the connector may do for everyone.
06Why does Claude get an error when I ask it to run the Unify Agent?
Usually because of credits or rate limits. Unify says starting a run requires chat funding or credits in the workspace, and each user is rate-limited; both conditions return a tool error rather than failing silently. If the run started but results will not load, it may simply not be finished: read_agent_results errors until the run reaches a final status, so ask Claude to check it with poll_agent first, then try again.
07Claude or an automation tool for Unify?
They do different jobs, so it depends on the task. Claude works in a conversation: you ask, it researches, updates or enrolls after your approval, and then stops. It does not react on its own when a prospect replies or a record changes. For steps that must fire every time on such events, an automation tool is the fit. For judgement calls, ad hoc research and quick fixes to your data, the connector does it.
