What can the Zadarma Make integration do for your phone line?
The Zadarma Make integration links your Zadarma cloud phone account to Make, a no-code automation tool. A call, a missed call or an incoming text can then start a scenario, the chain of steps Make runs for you, which creates leads, callbacks or SMS in Zadarma or passes the details on to your other apps.
No missed caller left behind. Watch missed call starts the scenario and Create callback files a request to ring that person back. When the number is new to you, Create lead records it as a prospect instead.
A call history nobody has to type. When a conversation ends, Watch call end hands Make the details, Get customer by phone number finds the client, and Create a customer's feed adds the entry to that client's record.
Replies to texts that go somewhere. Watch incoming SMS catches a customer's answer, Update lead moves the prospect forward, and Create SMS can send a short confirmation back.
Some things are not on offer. Zadarma has no Make an API Call module in Make, so you work with the 25 modules listed below, and Make's documentation for this app is AI-generated and warns that it may contain mistakes. Before a busy line pushes every call through a scenario, read what the Make pricing page says about operations. Still choosing a tool? How do you connect Zadarma to Make?
- 01
Open the connection window
Add any Zadarma module to your scenario and click Create a connection. If the module is instant (it carries a lightning badge), click Create a webhook first, then Create a connection.
- 02
Copy your API key and secret
In your Zadarma personal account dashboard, open the API Access or Integrations section of the account menu. Find the API credentials and copy both the API key and the API secret displayed there.
- 03
Paste them and confirm
Back in Make, type a label in Connection name if you want one (it is optional), paste the key and the secret, and confirm. This connection, your Zadarma account linked once, is reused by every Zadarma module.
Your first scenario: call back every missed caller
GoalWhen a call to your Zadarma number goes unanswered, Make files a callback request in Zadarma.
- 01
Create the scenario
On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the big + to add its first module. Search for Zadarma and pick Watch missed call, the trigger that starts everything.
- 02
Link your account
This trigger is instant, so click Create a webhook, then Create a connection, and paste the API key and secret copied from your Zadarma dashboard.
- 03
Catch a real missed call
Click Run once. Then call your Zadarma number from another phone and let it ring until it stops, without answering. Make shows the bundle it received, in other words the values Zadarma sent about that call.
- 04
Add the callback
Click the + on the right of the trigger, choose Zadarma again and pick Create callback. Fill its fields, mapping values from the trigger's bundle wherever Make offers them.
- 05
Test, then switch it on
Click Run once again and miss one more test call to check the request lands in Zadarma. Then switch the scenario on: from now on, each missed call starts it.
Zadarma triggers: what can start a scenario
10 modules start a scenario when something happens in Zadarma. A scheduled trigger is checked by Make on the scenario's schedule; an instant one is called by Zadarma as soon as it happens.
Watch call answer
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when a call is answered.”
Watch call answer starts your scenario the moment someone picks up an incoming call on your Zadarma line, so the rest of the chain can pull up the caller's file while the conversation is still going.
Watch call end
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when a call is ended.”
Once an incoming call hangs up, Watch call end hands Make a bundle about that call, which makes it the natural place to log what just happened.
Watch call started
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when a call is started.”
Watch call started gives you the earliest signal of all: an incoming call begins and Make already knows, before anyone decides whether to answer.
Watch incoming Facebook message
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when an Facebook message is received.”
Watch incoming Facebook message lets a Facebook message received in Zadarma start a scenario, so written conversations get the same follow-up as phone calls.
Watch incoming SMS
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when an SMS message is received.”
With Watch incoming SMS, every text sent to your Zadarma number becomes a bundle that Make can file, forward or answer.
Watch missed call
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when a call is missed.”
Watch missed call turns an unanswered ring into a task, instead of a number buried in the call log.
Watch outgoing call answer
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when an outgoing call is answered.”
Watch outgoing call answer reacts to your own calls: it fires when the person your team dialed actually picks up.
Watch outgoing call ended
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when an outgoing call ends.”
When a call your team placed comes to an end, Watch outgoing call ended starts the scenario, the right moment to write down how the attempt went.
Watch outgoing call missed
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when an outgoing call is missed.”
Watch outgoing call missed catches the calls your team made that nobody picked up, so a failed attempt does not quietly disappear.
Watch outgoing call started
Instant triggerIn Make“Triggers when an outgoing call is started.”
Watch outgoing call started knows as soon as someone on your line dials out, before the other side has a chance to answer.
