360NRS SMS Zapier integrationAutomate 360NRS SMS with Zapier.
The 360NRS SMS Zapier integration does one thing: it sends a text. 0 triggers, 1 action, 0 searches. Another app starts the Zap, and 360NRS SMS delivers the message. Here is what it costs, how to connect it, and where it breaks.

What the 360NRS SMS Zapier integration actually does
It lets another tool send a text through your 360NRS SMS account without anyone copying a phone number by hand. Zapier watches an app you already use, and when something happens there, it asks 360NRS SMS to send a message you wrote once, filled with the details of that event.
Three results people build with it, all on the same Send SMS action. A confirmation text that goes out when a booking or an order lands in another tool, with the customer's name pulled from that record. An internal alert that pings a manager's phone when a form flags something urgent. A follow-up text to a lead that just entered your CRM, so the first contact does not wait for someone to notice.
Now the part the app page skips. 360NRS SMS has no trigger on Zapier: nothing that happens inside 360NRS SMS (a reply, a delivery, a new contact) can start a Zap. It has no search either, so a Zap cannot look up a contact or a past message in 360NRS SMS. The integration only sends. Every Zap you build starts in another app, and 360NRS SMS is always a later step.
That is fine for outbound texts and a dead end for anything conversational. If your plan was to react to replies, Zapier will not get you there with this app. Before you pick a tool, the n8n vs Zapier comparison is worth a read before you commit.
Zapier vocabulary, in one minute
Seven words come back on this page. Here is what each one means in plain terms.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. 360NRS SMS has none of its own.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, sending the text.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those, nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer, at a fixed interval. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app so later steps can use it. 360NRS SMS offers no search.
What a text really costs you in Zapier tasks
Zapier counts tasks, not texts or triggers. Each SMS that 360NRS SMS accepts from your Zap is one task.
- Billed perSuccessful Send SMS action
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
The trigger in the other app never costs a task, however often Zapier checks it. Only a completed action is billed, and a send that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap is capped at two steps: one trigger, one action. 360NRS SMS is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. Add a filter, a search or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
Connect your 360NRS SMS account in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A connection is your 360NRS SMS account linked once, then reused by every step that sends through it. You need an existing 360NRS SMS account first.
- 02
Pick 360NRS SMS
Type 360NRS SMS in the search box of the dialog and select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the 360NRS SMS side, where the sign-in happens.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to 360NRS SMS in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. Once access is granted, the connection shows up in your list and can be picked in any Zap. If a colleague owns the account, they need to give you access first.
Your first Zap: a text for every qualified row
GoalA new row in a sheet sends a text, but only when the row is marked as confirmed.
- 01
Pick the starting app
Create a Zap and choose the app and event that start it, here a new row in a sheet. 360NRS SMS has no trigger, so the start always lives in another tool.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map fields on a real row instead of a guess.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, then set the field, the rule and the value. Keep in mind a filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Send SMS
Add 360NRS SMS with the Send SMS action. Fill From with your short sender name, map To to the phone column with its prefix, then write the Message around mapped fields.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the action once and read what came back, then publish the Zap to switch it on. Rows added before publishing will never get a text.
The 360NRS SMS action
360NRS SMS gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Send SMS
ActionIn Zapier“Send SMS when an event happens”
Sends one text from your 360NRS SMS account to the number or numbers you map, with a message built from the data earlier steps carried.
When the Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to 360NRS SMS, so the known failure points are the general ones, plus the two field rules above.
Most problems show up as a text that never arrives, or one that arrives too often. These four cases cover where to look first. For a broken Zap you cannot untangle, head to the Zapier troubleshooting page.
Old records never get a text
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Contacts already in your sheet before publishing are ignored, and texting that backlog is a separate job.The Zap keeps firing itself
If a later step writes back into the very place your trigger watches, the Zap sets itself off again and again, and each loop sends another text and burns a task.A bulk import goes quiet
When the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of sending hundreds of texts at once.No duplicate sends on polling
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same row does not start the Zap twice.
