What the 97Display Zapier integration does
Simply put, it connects 97Display, a website builder focused on bringing leads to martial arts schools, fitness businesses and gyms, with the rest of your tools. Zapier hears about each new lead from the 97Display CRM, and can also push a lead captured elsewhere into that same CRM.
Three outcomes cover most setups. A nurture sequence that starts on its own: a karate school sends every New Lead to its email tool, so the welcome series begins without anyone exporting a list. Front-desk staff who know who is coming: the same trigger posts a short message in the team chat, so the instructor on duty sees the trial request. Leads from other channels in one CRM: a sign-up taken on a separate event form goes through Create Lead and lands next to the website leads.
What it does not do matters as much. Zapier only sees new leads: nothing on a lead whose status changes, nothing on bookings or payments. It cannot edit or delete a lead, and with no search it cannot check whether a person is already in the CRM before creating them, so duplicates are your job to prevent upstream.
To set Zapier against other tools, the n8n vs Zapier comparison lists the criteria, and the Zapier training covers how to build flows like these.
Zapier terms, kept short
Seven words return throughout this page. One quick pass here and the rest reads cleanly.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: a trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event occurs.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap. For 97Display, a new lead in its CRM. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for that event.
- Action
- The step that does the work once the Zap has started: it writes, sends or moves something, like creating a lead in 97Display.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is counted in tasks.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself as soon as the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming item meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your 97Display account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that talks to 97Display.
What a 97Display Zap really costs
97Display is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The bill is counted in tasks, and only successful actions count.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan shapeTwo steps: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo, runs on the free plan
- Trigger typeInstant, the grid below does not apply
The New Lead trigger never costs a task. Each action that succeeds does: one subscriber added, one message posted, one lead created. A failed action is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, two steps each. Adding a second action, a filter or a search makes the Zap multi-step and moves it to a paid plan. Because the trigger is instant, the polling grid below does not slow it down on any plan.
Connect 97Display to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your Apps page
In Zapier, open the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A dialog opens with a search box covering every supported app, 97Display included.
- 02
Select 97Display
Type 97Display, pick it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens where you sign in with the 97Display account that owns your website and its lead CRM.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to use that account. The connection is stored once and reused by every Zap touching 97Display. If someone else owns the CRM, you need read or write access to it first.
Your first Zap: website leads into your mailing list
GoalEach new lead from the 97Display website joins the email list, then the front desk gets a heads-up in the team chat.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Create a Zap, choose 97Display and the
New Leadevent, then select your connection. A lightning bolt in the editor confirms the Zap is instant. - 02
Test with real leads
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the connected account, so the mapping is done on a real person, not a sample.
- 03
Add the subscriber
Add your email tool as the first action and map the lead's details from 97Display into the subscriber fields so the welcome sequence can start.
- 04
Warn the front desk
Add a second action that posts in the team chat. With two actions the Zap becomes multi-step, which requires a paid plan on Zapier.
- 05
Test and publish
Test both actions. Once the subscriber shows up in your email tool and the message lands in the chat, click Publish so the Zap starts listening for leads.
The 97Display trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in 97Display, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when 97 Display CRM has new lead, 97 Display sends you all new leads.”
Kicks off your Zap whenever a new lead reaches the 97Display CRM, typically someone who filled in a form on your website. Every one of them is passed along, so nothing waits in the CRM for someone to export it by hand.
The 97Display action
97Display gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

When a 97Display Zap breaks
Zapier ties no help article to 97Display, so the cases below are the general ones. They hit a lead Zap as hard as any other.
Four situations account for most surprises: history, loops, sudden volume and duplicates. If a run looks wrong, the Zapier troubleshooting guide goes through the checks in order.
Old leads are left behind
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads already in the 97Display CRM stay there, and moving them is a separate job.New Lead feeding Create Lead
A Zap that creates a lead in 97Display from its own New Lead trigger writes where it listens. It fires over and over and burns your task count.A mass import gets held back
After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger can suddenly report a huge batch at once. Zapier's flood protection can then hold it back.Duplicates come from the source
Create Lead has no search before it, so the same person sent twice from another tool ends up twice in the CRM. Seeing doubles? Look at the sending tool first and remove repeats before they ever reach the Zap.
