Adtraction Zapier integrationAutomate Adtraction with Zapier.
The Adtraction Zapier integration comes with 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. It does one job: when a new transaction shows up in your Adtraction partner account, it starts a Zap and passes it to another app. Nothing is written back into Adtraction.

What the Adtraction Zapier integration does for a partner
On Adtraction, brands pay partners like you for the sales you send them. The Adtraction Zapier integration sits on the partner side: it keeps an eye on your partner account and starts a Zap each time a new transaction shows up, so you hear about it in your own tools instead of logging in to check.
Three common results. A running conversion log: each transaction becomes a row in a spreadsheet, so a recipe blogger can see which articles bring sales without exporting reports. A team alert: a message lands in the chat channel of the people who write the content, which keeps them close to what actually sells and what does not. A task for follow-up: a card in your project tool reminds someone to update the page that just converted.
What Zapier cannot do with Adtraction matters as much. There is no action and no search, so it cannot change anything in Adtraction or look up an older transaction. The trigger is a polling one, so a conversion is seen on the next check, not instantly. And anything recorded before the Zap goes live stays out.
If you are setting up several of these, the Zapier training walks through the method, and Zapier alternatives lists other tools if you want to compare.
Zapier words in one minute
Seven terms come back on this page. Here they are, one line each.
- Zap
- Your automation on Zapier. Here it reads: when a sale is credited to your account, do this in another app. It runs again for each new sale.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap. With Adtraction, there is just one: a new transaction in your partner account.
- Action
- The step that does the work once the Zap has started, like writing a row or sending a message, always in another app here.
- Task
- How Zapier counts usage. Every action that succeeds is one task, and the plan gives you a monthly number of them.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, keeping only what it has not seen before. The Adtraction trigger works this way.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app pushes to Zapier the second the event happens, with no wait. Adtraction does not offer one.
- Filter
- An extra step that checks each transaction against a rule, for example one programme only, and lets through only the ones that match.
What it costs to run
Adtraction is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so it works on the free plan.
- Paid plan requiredNo, free plan works
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two steps per Zap
- BilledEach successful action in the other app
- Not billedThe trigger and every check
Being told about a sale is free: the Adtraction trigger never uses a task, however many times Zapier checks your partner account. You pay in tasks for what the Zap does next, one per successful row, message or card, and nothing for a step that fails. On the free plan that means 100 tasks a month and a check every 15 minutes, with one trigger and one action per Zap. Want only one programme's sales? That filter turns it into a multi-step Zap, on a paid plan.
Connect Adtraction to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need an Adtraction partner account, plus access to it if a colleague or your company owns the login.
- 02
Find Adtraction
Type Adtraction in the dialog's search box, select it, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Adtraction side, where you finish the setup.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to your Adtraction account and grant Zapier access to it. Back in Zapier, the connection appears in your list, ready for any Zap that starts from a new conversion.
Your first Zap: conversions into a sheet
GoalEvery new transaction in your Adtraction partner account adds a row to a shared spreadsheet, so you track results across programmes in one place.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, pick Adtraction as the starting app and Partner - New Conversion as the event, then choose the connection you just added.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent transactions, so you map the columns on a real conversion instead of a blank sample.
- 03
Add a filter
Insert a filter so only transactions that meet the condition you set carry on. This makes the Zap multi-step, which requires a paid plan.
- 04
Add the sheet action
Choose the spreadsheet app and its row-creation event, pick the file and tab, then place each piece of the transaction in its column.
- 05
Test and publish
Test the sheet step, check that the row is there, then click Publish. New conversions will be added on your plan's checking interval from then on.
Adtraction triggers on Zapier
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Adtraction. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
Partner - New Conversion
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when there are new transactions in your partner account.”
Starts your Zap whenever a new transaction is recorded in your Adtraction partner account, and passes that transaction to the next step. It is the only Adtraction event Zapier offers, so every Zap built on this app begins here, whether the goal is a log, an alert or a follow-up task.
When the Zap breaks
Zapier ties no help article to Adtraction, so the known failure points are Zapier's own general limits.
Adtraction will not flag any of these. The symptom is always on the receiving end, a row missing from your sheet or arriving later than the sale, so check the last app of the Zap first.
Past conversions never arrive
Switching the Zap on draws a line: only sales credited after that moment are sent. Last month's commission history stays in Adtraction until you export it yourself.A conversion shows up late
Your partner account is checked, not listened to. On the free plan the gap between checks is 15 minutes, so a sale that lands just after one waits for the next.A big batch is held back
A large drop of transactions at once, after a bulk import or a migration for instance, can trip Zapier's flood protection, which holds the batch back.No duplicate rows
Zapier keeps a record of the transactions it has already passed on, so each sale gives you one row, never two, however often the account is checked.
