Agent Legend Zapier integrationAutomate Agent Legend with Zapier.
The Agent Legend Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers, 3 actions and 1 search, all usable on the free plan. Below: what each one does, how often the triggers check, what a run costs in tasks, and where a campaign Zap tends to break.

What the Agent Legend Zapier integration actually does
The integration links your Agent Legend account, a marketing tool that runs campaigns across several channels, to the other apps you already use through Zapier. A Zap watches your campaigns for new contacts or for replies, then adds, stops or updates contacts on its own. Nobody has to copy a name from one screen to another, and nobody forgets to pause a sequence.
Three results come up again and again with this app. A reply that ends the sequence: a staffing firm catches the candidate who writes back with Contact Responded, then runs Stop Campaign for Contact so that person gets no more automated nudges. A record that reflects reality: Update Contact rewrites a contact's details, or ticks the Archived box once a human has taken over the conversation. The right people in the next campaign: Find Contact locates someone by email address or phone number, and Add Contact to Campaign enrolls them in the campaign you pick.
What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. There is no instant trigger, so every event waits for the next check. No operation creates or deletes a campaign. Nothing sends a one-off message outside a campaign either. If the move you have in mind is not among these six operations, a Zap cannot make it.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words cover everything on this page. Each one is used exactly as defined here.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run every single time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in Agent Legend that starts the Zap, such as a contact replying. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that adds, stops or updates something in Agent Legend on your behalf.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action that completed successfully, and the number on your plan counts only those.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling: Zapier asks the app for new items on a timer. Instant: the app calls Zapier itself. Both Agent Legend triggers poll.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets the condition you set, and quietly stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app, like an existing contact, so the following steps can reuse it.
What an Agent Legend Zap really costs
The trigger never costs a task, and neither does looking for new data, however often Zapier checks. Only an action that goes through is billed, one task each. A failed action is not counted.
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Zap size on Free2 steps
- Cost of the trigger0 tasks
- Paid plan requiredNo
Agent Legend is not reserved to paid plans, so the free plan works: 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, a check every 15 minutes. The catch is size. A free Zap holds two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a filter, a search step or a second action and it becomes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below applies to both Agent Legend triggers, since neither of them is instant.
Connect Agent Legend to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. Have an Agent Legend account ready, plus access to any campaign you do not own but want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Agent Legend
Type Agent Legend in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Agent Legend side to handle the sign-in.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Agent Legend in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. This connection (your account linked once) is then reused by every Zap step that talks to Agent Legend.
Your first Zap: halt the sequence when a candidate replies
GoalWhen a contact answers a campaign, stop that campaign for them so no automated message lands on top of a real conversation.
- 01
Build the start
In the editor, choose Agent Legend as the starting app and Contact Responded as the event, then select the connection made earlier. This Zap carries a filter, so it needs a paid plan.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from the connected account. Pick a real one, so every later field is mapped on actual data rather than a guess.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, then set the field to look at, the rule and the value. Use a text rule on text and a number rule on numbers, or it never passes.
- 04
Add Stop Campaign for Contact
Add the Agent Legend action, choose the campaign in Campaign and map Contact ID from the data the trigger test returned. Test this step once and read what came back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on it reacts only to replies that arrive after publication. Older replies stay untouched.
Agent Legend triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Agent Legend. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
Contact Added to Campaign
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a contact is added to a campaign.”
Notices every contact who lands in one of your Agent Legend campaigns, whether a teammate enrolled them by hand or another Zap did, and passes that contact to the steps that follow.
Contact Responded
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a contact responds to one of your campaigns.”
Starts the Zap each time someone answers one of your Agent Legend campaigns. That reply is usually the moment a sequence should change course: stop it, move the person elsewhere, or update the record.
Agent Legend actions
Agent Legend gives you 3 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Add Contact to Campaign
ActionIn Zapier“Adds a contact to a campaign.”
Enrolls a contact in the Agent Legend campaign you choose, so the sequence starts for them without anyone opening the app.
Stop Campaign for Contact
ActionIn Zapier“Stops a campaign for the specified contact.”
Halts one campaign for one person: nothing more from that sequence goes out to them, while the rest of the audience carries on as planned.
Update Contact
ActionIn Zapier“Updates a Contact's details.”
Rewrites the details stored on an existing Agent Legend contact, and can also tick or clear its Archived box.
Agent Legend search
1 search step looks for data that already exists in Agent Legend, so a later step can use it.
Searches sit at the bottom of the action-event list in the editor, under SEARCH. Some action fields also offer + Add search step, which inserts the search just before the current step and wires its result in for you.
Find Contact
SearchIn Zapier“Find an existing contact by email address or phone number.”
Looks up a contact who already exists in Agent Legend, using an email address or a phone number typed or mapped into the Search field.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap right there and skips the steps that relied on it. Switched on, the Zap keeps going with an empty result.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet?Ticking it turns a search into a find-or-create. The source lists no find-or-create variant for Agent Legend, so plan on Find Contact looking only, never creating.
- If multiple search results are found?Three ways out when several contacts match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or hand all of them on at once.
When an Agent Legend Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Agent Legend, and the source records no rate limit or quota specific to the app.
So the risks are the general ones, and with two polling triggers they show up in predictable places. When a Zap misbehaves anyway, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the place to start.
Old contacts are never picked up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Contacts already in a campaign and replies already received stay untouched; moving that backlog is a separate job.The Zap keeps setting itself off
Add Contact to Campaign writing into the campaign that Contact Added to Campaign watches makes a loop: each run starts the next one and the task count drains fast.A bulk import gets held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a mass import of contacts for example, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of firing for each item. The same contact never fires twice
On a polling trigger Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so a contact processed once will not restart the Zap on the next check, even if it still shows up.
