Fliki Zapier integrationAutomate Fliki with Zapier.
The Fliki Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger and 1 action, with 0 searches. That is enough to turn a script stored in another app into a Fliki video or audio file, then hear about it the moment the render is finished.

What the Fliki Zapier integration actually does
Fliki turns text into video or audio with AI voices. Zapier is the glue between apps: it watches for an event in one tool and does something in another, with no code. Put together, the integration lets other apps order new Fliki content for you, and tells those apps when a render is ready.
Three results come up again and again. First, a script becomes a video: a row of text in a spreadsheet feeds Create Content with the workflow type set to script. Second, an idea becomes an audio file: same action, format switched to audio, workflow type set to idea, handy for a weekly voice note to customers. Third, nobody has to refresh Fliki: Watch Export Complete fires when a render is done, so the next step (a chat message, an email, a task) happens on its own.
Now the honest part. Two operations is a short list. There is no search step, so a Zap cannot look up an existing Fliki project and reuse it. There is no action to edit, rename or delete content either. If your process needs those, Zapier will not cover it with this app alone, and it is worth knowing before you build.
If you are still choosing a platform, the Fliki Make integration page and the Make vs Zapier comparison are the two pages to read next.
Zapier words in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here is what each one means in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build around Fliki: one trigger, such as a finished render, then one or more actions that run every time it happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap. On the Fliki side there is exactly one, Watch Export Complete, and Zapier waits for it once the Zap is on.
- Action
- The step that does the work after the start. Create Content is the only Fliki action: it orders a new video or audio file.
- Task
- What Zapier bills: one action that went through. Each successful Create Content is one task on your monthly count.
- Instant vs polling trigger
- An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens. A polling one is checked by Zapier on a timer.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap with more than one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it needs a paid plan.
What a Fliki Zap really costs
Fliki is not a premium app on Zapier, so it works from the free plan. The bill depends on actions, not on how often things happen.
- Fliki triggerFree, never counted
- Each successful Create Content1 task
- Failed actionNot counted
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
The trigger never costs anything. Each time Create Content goes through, that is one task; if it fails, nothing is counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but only two steps per Zap: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and you need a paid plan. Since Watch Export Complete is instant, the polling interval grid below never slows it down, even on Free.
Connect your Fliki account to Zapier
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Fliki account linked once to Zapier, then reused by every Zap that touches Fliki.
- 02
Find Fliki and start the link
Type Fliki in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. You need an existing Fliki account for this step, so create one first if you have not.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Fliki in the tab that opens and allow Zapier to use the account. Done. From then on, back in the editor, the connection shows up in the account menu of every Fliki step you add to any Zap.
Your first Zap: from a finished Fliki render to a team alert and a log
GoalA small marketing team wants a Slack ping each time a Fliki video is ready, plus one line per render in a shared Google Sheets log.
- 01
Create the Zap and pick the Fliki trigger
Start a new Zap, choose Fliki as the trigger app and Watch Export Complete as the event, then select your Fliki connection.
- 02
Test the trigger on a real render
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent items from your Fliki account, so you map the next steps on an actual render, not a made-up one.
- 03
Add the Slack message
Add an action, pick Slack and Send Channel Message, choose the channel, then drop in the values you spotted in the test so the message says which video is ready.
- 04
Add the log line in Google Sheets
Add a second action with Google Sheets and Create Spreadsheet Row. Two actions make this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan and uses two tasks per render.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each action once, check the message in Slack and the new row in the sheet. When both look right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.
The Fliki trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Fliki, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Watch Export Complete
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when video render is completed.”
This one tells your Zap that Fliki has finished rendering a video, so whatever comes next can start without anyone checking the dashboard. It is the only Fliki event Zapier can listen to, which makes it the natural end point of any content pipeline built around Fliki.
The Fliki action
Fliki gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Content
ActionIn Zapier“Create a new content on Fliki”
Orders a new piece of Fliki content from data your Zap already carries. You choose a video or an audio file, then how Fliki gets its input: an idea to develop, a script you supply, or a blog page.
When a Fliki Zap breaks
Zapier lists no help article and no documented limit specific to Fliki. What breaks is what breaks on any Zap.
Four cases are worth knowing before you publish. None of them shows up as a clear error message, which is why they are easy to miss. When a Zap misbehaves and you cannot see why, the Zapier troubleshooting page is a good next stop.
Earlier renders are ignored
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Videos Fliki finished before that will never reach Slack or the log; moving that backlog is a separate job.A possible self-feeding loop
If the export started by Create Content with Auto export on also fires Watch Export Complete, a Zap chaining the two restarts itself and burns tasks. Test once with Auto export off.A bulk import gets held back
After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger can suddenly return a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back instead of sending them all through.A failed render request costs nothing
If Create Content does not go through, no task is counted. The flip side: no content was created either, so check the Zap history after the first runs.
