Foxentry Zapier integrationAutomate Foxentry with Zapier.
The Foxentry Zapier integration gives you 8 actions, 0 triggers and 0 searches. Every action checks or enriches data (an email, a phone, a name, an address, a company) that another app hands it, so a form or a CRM always starts the Zap.

What the Foxentry Zapier integration does
Foxentry checks contact and company data and fixes the typos it can, from an email address to a postal address. Zapier is the service that connects apps so data moves on its own. Put together, every new lead or order can be cleaned on its way in, before a bad address costs you a returned parcel.
Three results teams set up. Lead forms without junk: Validate an Email and Validate a Phone Number check what a visitor typed, with an extended email mode that also looks at deliverability and flags temporary and free mailboxes. Addresses that ship first time: Validate a Location corrects an address and returns the city and postal code in the format you pick. Company records filled in for you: Get Company Information pulls public data on a business from its country and registration number.
What Zapier does not do here: Foxentry has no trigger, so it never starts a Zap. It always acts after another app, a form, a CRM or a shop, has sent something in. One more thing to check early: Get Location Data accepts an external location ID for CZ and PL, but not for SK, where only Foxentry's internal ID works.
For other platforms, see the Foxentry Make integration; n8n vs Zapier is the next page to read if you are weighing tools.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words are enough to read the rest. Each keeps this meaning below.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts a Zap. Foxentry has none, so the trigger always comes from another tool, such as a form or a CRM.
- Action
- The step that does the work: here, validating an email, a phone, a name, an address or a company, or fetching public data.
- Task
- What Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is a count of these.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer; an instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Foxentry account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Foxentry step in all your Zaps.
What a Foxentry Zap costs
Foxentry is not a premium app: it runs on Zapier's free plan.
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Steps per Zap on Free2 (trigger + action)
- Premium appNo
- BilledEach successful action
The trigger in your other tool costs nothing, and neither does Zapier checking it for new data. Each Foxentry action that succeeds uses one task; one that fails is not counted. Checking an email and then a phone number on the same lead is two tasks per lead. The free plan includes 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps: one trigger, one action. A second check, or a filter, makes it a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan. How quickly the Zap starts depends on the trigger of your other app: instant ones fire at once, polling ones follow the grid below.
Connect Foxentry to Zapier
- 01
Go to Apps
In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. You need an existing Foxentry account; Zapier links one you already have and does not open one for you.
- 02
Pick Foxentry
Search for Foxentry in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Foxentry side, where you complete the connection with your login.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to Foxentry in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. If the account is shared with colleagues, check that yours has the rights the Zap needs.
Your first Zap: clean every new lead
GoalEach new response to your sign-up form gets its email and phone number checked by Foxentry before the lead goes any further.
- 01
Build: start in your form tool
Create a Zap and choose your form tool with its new-response event. Foxentry has no trigger, so the Zap always begins where the data is typed.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from the connected account; pick a real response to map from.
- 03
Add Validate an Email
Add Validate an Email, map the email field and choose Basic or Extended. Decide whether disposable and free mailboxes count as valid.
- 04
Add Validate a Phone Number
Add Validate a Phone Number, set the validation type and whether spaced numbers are valid. This second action makes the Zap multi-step: paid plan.
- 05
Publish
Test each step and read what came back, then click Publish. Responses received before that moment are not checked; only new ones go through.
The 8 Foxentry actions
Foxentry gives you 8 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Get Company Information
ActionIn Zapier“Access a wide range of company public information.”
Fetches public information about a business from its Country code and Registration number, with a Data scope that controls how much comes back.
Get Location Data
ActionIn Zapier“Access a wide range of public information about specific location.”
Returns public information about one place from its Location ID. The ID can be Foxentry's internal one or an external one, which exists for CZ (RUIAN) and PL (government data) but not for SK.
List Addresses Around GPS
ActionIn Zapier“Find out which addresses and premises are nearby within a GPS radius.”
Lists the addresses and premises around a GPS point you give as latitude and longitude. With Accept nearest on, an empty area returns the closest locations instead of nothing.
Validate a Company
ActionIn Zapier“Validate company data and automatically correct most typos.”
Checks company details and corrects most typos. The only required setting is Data scope, which decides how much information comes back with the result.
Validate an Email
ActionIn Zapier“Correct, validate, and retrieve information about emails, even if they contain typos.”
Checks an email address and corrects it where it can. Basic only looks at the format; Extended also tests deliverability and tells you if the mailbox is temporary or a free one. You also decide whether disposable and free addresses pass.
Validate a Location
ActionIn Zapier“Validate address data and automatically correct most typos.”
Checks a postal address and corrects most typos. You choose the postal code format (130 00 or 13000) and the city format, from Minimal to Extended; an optional setting accepts a post office name as the city.
Validate a Name
ActionIn Zapier“Validate names and surnames and automatically correct most typos.”
Checks first names and surnames and fixes typos. You set how strict it is (Minimal, Moderate, Strict), whether titles and suffixes are allowed, and Smart mode, which applies corrections instead of only suggesting them.
Validate a Phone Number
ActionIn Zapier“Check the validity and existence of phone numbers.”
Tells you whether a phone number is valid and exists. Two required settings: the validation type, and Format number, which decides if a number written with spaces counts as correct.
When a Foxentry Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to Foxentry, so these cases come from Zapier's general limits and from the required settings of the actions.
The trigger always lives in another app, so a stalled Zap can start there as well as in the Foxentry step. Testing each Foxentry step on a real record before you publish shows what it received and what came back. If you are still stuck, our Zapier troubleshooting service can take a look at the Zap with you.
Older contacts stay unchecked
A Zap only reacts to what arrives after you publish it. Leads already in your CRM are not validated; cleaning the backlog is a separate job.Writing back starts the Zap again
If a later step writes the corrected value into the record your trigger watches, the Zap can set itself off again and burn through tasks.A wrong country format
Company and location lookups want a two-letter ISO code. A full country name or an empty field gives the step nothing it can use.A bulk import is held
Importing a large contact list at once can trip Zapier's flood protection, which holds the runs back instead of firing them all.
