JoggAI Zapier integrationAutomate JoggAI with Zapier.

The JoggAI Zapier integration exposes 4 triggers, 13 actions and 14 searches. All four triggers are instant, so a finished or failed video reaches your other tools right away, even on the free plan. Here is what each step does and what it costs.

Overview

What the JoggAI Zapier integration actually does for you

JoggAI turns products, templates and avatars into AI-generated videos. Zapier is the bridge that lets those videos start, and report back, without you opening JoggAI. A Zap (one automation on Zapier) listens for an event, then runs the steps you picked. Here the four events are about avatars and videos finishing, or failing.

A product video that writes itself. Your shop already holds the product. Upload Product sends it to JoggAI, then Create Video From Product turns that product page into a short video in the language and format you chose. Nobody copies descriptions by hand.

A failure alert someone actually sees. Video Generation Failed fires the moment a render breaks. Point it at your team chat or your ticket tool and the person who launched the job hears about it before the client does.

An avatar library that grows into videos. When Avatar Created fires, Create Video From Avatar can put that new face to work straight away, with a voice you picked through Find Library Voice.

What Zapier does not do here: there is no trigger for a new product, a new template or a new upload. Only avatars and videos report their outcome. Zapier also cannot edit a finished video or remove an avatar, and none of the 13 actions deletes anything except a webhook. If your plan relies on those, the JoggAI Make integration is worth a look, and Make vs Zapier is the page to read before you choose.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in JoggAI that starts the Zap, such as a video finishing. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
What the Zap does once started: the step that creates a video, uploads a file or changes a product for you.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completed successfully, and your plan counts those.
Polling vs instant
Polling means Zapier checks the app on a timer. Instant means the app calls Zapier itself. Every JoggAI trigger is instant.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it quietly otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something already in JoggAI, like a voice or a template, so later steps can use what it found.
Connection
Your JoggAI account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that touches JoggAI.
Cost

What a JoggAI Zap really costs

The trigger is free. Only a completed action is billed, and JoggAI is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans.

  • TriggerNever costs a task
  • Each successful actionOne task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Paid-plan-only app?No, JoggAI works on the free plan

Each action that succeeds counts as one task. A three-action Zap eats three times what a one-action Zap does, while an action that fails costs nothing. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but only two steps per Zap: one trigger, one action. Add a second action, a filter or a search, and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. That matters here, because most useful JoggAI flows chain a search for an avatar or voice before the video action.

Connect

Connect JoggAI to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open your connected apps

In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a JoggAI account first, with access to the avatars, templates and products you want the Zap to touch.

  2. 02

    Pick JoggAI

Type JoggAI in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the JoggAI side, where the actual sign-in happens.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to JoggAI in that tab and allow Zapier into the account. The connection now shows on your Apps page and every JoggAI step of every future Zap can reuse it.

First Zap

Your first JoggAI Zap: avatar in, video out

GoalEach new avatar gets a script and a first talking video without anyone touching JoggAI.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap and pick JoggAI as the app that starts it, with Avatar Created as the event. Choose the connection you made above.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent avatars from your account, so you map the next steps on a real one rather than a blank.

  3. 03

    Add the script

Add AI Script as the first action and set the required Video Length. Two actions make this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the video

Add Create Video From Avatar. Map the Avatar ID from the trigger, then pick a Voice ID, an aspect ratio and a screen style.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each action once and read what JoggAI sent back. When the video request looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.

Triggers

JoggAI Zapier integration triggers

4 events start a Zap when something happens in JoggAI, and 4 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Avatar Creation Failed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when the creation of an avatar fails.”

This one speaks up when JoggAI could not build an avatar you asked for. The Zap gets the failed job and can pass it on to whoever launched it, so a broken avatar does not sit unnoticed in the account while a video waits on it.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
you generate photo avatars in batches and want a ticket or a chat message for each one that did not come out.
Watch out
only failures that happen after the Zap is published are reported; avatars that failed before that never show up.
2

Avatar Created

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when an avatar is created.”

A fresh avatar is ready in JoggAI, and the Zap starts with its details in hand. That is the natural first step for anything that should happen once a new face exists, from logging it in a sheet to sending it straight into a video.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
your marketing team adds avatars for each campaign and wants a first talking video produced automatically.
Watch out
a Zap that creates avatars from this trigger sets itself off again and again, so never loop it back onto avatar creation.
3

Video Generation Failed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a video generation fails.”

When a render breaks on JoggAI's side, this trigger hands the failed video to Zapier. It is the safety net for every other Zap on this page, because a video action that was accepted can still fail later during generation.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
you promised a client a product video by a set day and need the account manager warned the minute something goes wrong.
Watch out
the task spent on the original create action is already counted, since that action itself succeeded.
4

Video Generated Successfully

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a video is generated successfully.”

The finished video is ready and Zapier receives it as soon as JoggAI is done. From there you can file it, share it or announce it, with no one refreshing the JoggAI dashboard to see whether the render is over.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a social media manager wants every new product clip dropped into a review channel the moment it exists.
Watch out
only videos finished after the Zap is published show up; older ones are never picked up.
Actions

JoggAI actions on Zapier

JoggAI gives you 13 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Add Webhook

Action

In Zapier“Adds a new webhook”

Registers a new notification address on the JoggAI side, with the events it should hear about and whether it is active.

When to use it
a developer wants JoggAI to report to another system besides Zapier.
Watch out
the address must use HTTPS, and you do not need this action for the four Zapier triggers to work.
2

AI Script

Action

In Zapier“Generates a script from a product or description using AI”

Writes a video script for you from a product or from a short description, ready to hand to a video action later in the Zap.

When to use it
you have product data but nobody on the team writes voice-over copy.
Watch out
Video Length is mandatory, and the script is shaped around it.
3

Create Video From Product

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new video by summarizing a product like a product details page”

Feeds a product you already uploaded into JoggAI and gets a summarizing video back, as a product details page would read on screen.

When to use it
an online shop wants a short clip for each new item in its catalog.
Watch out
it needs the Product ID, an avatar, a language, a length, a format and a script style before it will run.
4

Create Video From Template

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new video using JoggAI templates.”

Builds a video from one of your JoggAI templates, with the text read aloud in the language you set and captions if you want them.

When to use it
a format you reuse again and again, where only the words change.
Watch out
grab the Template ID with Find My Template rather than typing it by hand.
5

Create Photo Avatar

Action

In Zapier“Create a photo avatar based on the specified description”

Turns an image and a short description into a new photo avatar with its own name and voice.

When to use it
a new team member sends a headshot and should appear in videos without a filming session.
Watch out
the image has to be reachable by URL, and the model, name, voice and description are all required.
6

Generate Preview

Action

In Zapier“Generates a video preview from a product without creating the final video”

Produces a preview of the product video without building the final one, so someone can approve the direction first.

When to use it
a client signs off on clips before you spend generation on the real thing.
Watch out
it asks for the same settings as the full product video, plus a Template Type.
7

Create Video From Avatar

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new video using an avatar and a script”

Puts an avatar on screen, gives it a voice and a script, and returns a talking video in the aspect ratio and screen style you chose.

When to use it
onboarding or support clips where a consistent presenter reads changing text.
Watch out
both the Avatar ID and the Voice ID are required, so pair it with a search step for each.
8

Delete Webhook

Action

In Zapier“Deletes an existing webhook”

Removes a notification you no longer use, identified by its Endpoint ID. It is the only delete action JoggAI offers on Zapier.

When to use it
cleaning up after a test system was retired.
Watch out
find the right ID first with Find Webhook; removing the wrong one stops a live notification.
9

Generate AI Photo

Action

In Zapier“Generates four new AI photos based on a description”

Asks JoggAI to draw four new photos from a written description, which you can then use as avatar material.

When to use it
you need a presenter look that does not exist yet and have no photo to start from.
Watch out
the photos are not ready instantly; check them with Check Photo Generation Status.
10

Update Product

Action

In Zapier“Update the information of a product”

Changes the information of a product already stored in JoggAI, identified by its Product ID.

When to use it
a product description changed in your catalog and the next video must reflect it.
Watch out
without the Product ID it has nothing to point at, so keep that ID somewhere the Zap can read it.
11

Update Webhook

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing webhook”

Edits an existing notification: its address, the events it listens to, or its status.

When to use it
you switch a notification off during maintenance and back on afterwards.
Watch out
it needs the Endpoint ID, and the address, events and status are required again, even if only one of them changes.
12

Upload File

Action

In Zapier“Uploads a file for use in video generation”

Pushes a file into JoggAI so later videos can use it, under the filename you give it.

When to use it
a designer drops a logo or a background into shared storage and it should land in JoggAI too.
Watch out
both the file and its filename are required.
13

Upload Product

Action

In Zapier“Uploads and processes a product to be used for video creation”

Sends a product into JoggAI and has it processed so it can serve as the base for videos.

When to use it
new items appear in your store and should be ready for video without anyone copying details across.
Watch out
this is the first link of the product chain; the video actions need the product it creates.
Searches

JoggAI searches on Zapier

14 search steps look for data that already exists in JoggAI, so a later step can use it.

Searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. They fetch an ID or a status so the next step does not have to guess. Some fields also offer + Add search step, which inserts the right search and wires it in for you. JoggAI exposes no find-or-create variant: every search here only looks, it never creates.

1

Check Photo Avatar Generation Status

Search

In Zapier“Checks the generation status of an avatar task”

Asks JoggAI where a photo avatar job stands, from its Motion ID, so the Zap knows whether to wait or move on.

When to use it
right after Create Photo Avatar, before any step that needs the finished avatar.
Watch out
the Motion ID is required, so carry it over from the creating step.
2

Check Photo Generation Status

Search

In Zapier“Checks the generation status of the AI photo”

Looks up the progress of an AI photo request through its Photo ID.

When to use it
after Generate AI Photo, to route the images only once they exist.
Watch out
a status check is a lookup, not a wait; if the photos are still cooking, the Zap does not pause by itself.
3

Get a Video

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves information about a generated video”

Pulls the details of a generated video from its Project ID, so later steps can share or store it.

When to use it
after Video Generated Successfully, to fetch everything you want to post along with the clip.
Watch out
the Project ID is mandatory.
4

Find Library Templates

Search

In Zapier“Finds a library template”

Browses the templates JoggAI provides to everyone and returns one for the next step.

When to use it
you have no template of your own yet and want a ready-made layout.
Watch out
library templates are shared, so check the one picked still fits your brand.
5

Find Library Voice

Search

In Zapier“Finds a library voice.”

Picks a voice from JoggAI's shared library and hands its ID to the video action that follows.

When to use it
before Create Video From Avatar, which will not run without a Voice ID.
Watch out
whether it wants an exact name or something close is JoggAI's call, so test with a real value.
6

Find Music

Search

In Zapier“Finds a music”

Fetches a music track available in JoggAI for the steps after it.

When to use it
product clips should always carry the same background track.
Watch out
a search that finds no track stops the Zap by default; switch on the empty-result setting if a clip without music is fine.
7

Find My Template

Search

In Zapier“Finds a template of mine.”

Searches the templates you built yourself in JoggAI, rather than the shared library everyone sees.

When to use it
feeding Create Video From Template with your branded format.
Watch out
if several of your templates match, the default keeps the first one, so check it is the branded one.
8

Find My Voice

Search

In Zapier“Finds a voice of mine.”

Returns one of the voices stored in your own account, ready to map as a Voice ID.

When to use it
the brand has a chosen voice that every video should keep.
Watch out
with the default setting, no match stops the Zap before the video step.
9

Find Visual Style

Search

In Zapier“Finds a visual style”

Locates a visual style in JoggAI so the video steps after it share the same look.

When to use it
several Zaps produce videos and they should not drift visually.
Watch out
test once to see which style comes back first when several match.
10

Find Instant Avatar

Search

In Zapier“Finds an instant avatar.”

Finds an instant avatar in your account and gives the next step its ID.

When to use it
a presenter recorded as an instant avatar fronts every support video.
Watch out
the avatar type you set in the video action must match the kind of avatar found here.
11

Find Library Avatar

Search

In Zapier“Finds a library avatar.”

Pulls a stock presenter from JoggAI's shared avatars when you have none of your own.

When to use it
testing a video Zap before your custom avatar exists.
Watch out
set the avatar type in the video step to match a library avatar.
12

Find Webhook

Search

In Zapier“Finds a webhook.”

Looks up a notification already registered in JoggAI and returns its Endpoint ID.

When to use it
just before Update Webhook or Delete Webhook.
Watch out
if several match, the default keeps only the first; check it is the right one.
13

Find Webhook Event

Search

In Zapier“Finds a webhook event.”

Returns an event type JoggAI can report, ready to map into the Events field of a webhook action.

When to use it
setting up Add Webhook without guessing event names.
Watch out
it lists what can be heard, not what already happened.
14

Find My Photo Avatars

Search

In Zapier“Finds a photo avatar of mine.”

Searches the photo avatars you created and hands one to the following step.

When to use it
a new hire's photo avatar should front their welcome video.
Watch out
an avatar still generating may not come back yet; check its status first.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps that relied on it. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
This box turns a search into a find-or-create on apps that offer it. JoggAI offers none, so you will not see it here.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out when several items match: keep the first one (the default), stop the Zap, or pass all of them on at once.
When it breaks

When a JoggAI Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to JoggAI, so the known failure points are the ones every Zap shares.

None of them is exotic. Each one shows up as soon as a team relies on the Zap, and each has a plain fix. When a run fails without explanation, the Zapier troubleshooting guide walks through the checks.

  • No catch-up on old videos

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Videos and avatars finished before that are never picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • The Zap that feeds itself

Create an avatar from the Avatar Created trigger and the Zap fires again on its own result, over and over, burning through your task count fast.
  • Bulk runs held back

Launch a big batch of videos at once and the sudden wave of events can be held back by Zapier's flood protection instead of running straight through.
  • Empty search, stopped Zap

A voice, avatar or template search that finds nothing stops the Zap by default, so the video action never runs. Switch the setting on only if an empty value is acceptable.

FAQ

JoggAI Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the JoggAI Zapier integration free?
Yes, as long as each Zap stays at two steps. JoggAI is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so the free plan can connect it, with 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The catch is the two-step limit: one trigger and one action. Most JoggAI videos need an avatar ID or a voice ID found by a search first, and a search, a filter or a second action turns the Zap into a multi-step one that requires a paid plan. Simple alerts on a failed video fit the free plan fine.
02How many tasks does a JoggAI Zap use?
One task per action that completes, and nothing else. The trigger never costs a task, and neither does Zapier waiting for JoggAI to report a finished video. A Zap that writes a script, then creates a video, uses two tasks per run. A Zap that also sends a chat message uses three. An action that fails is not counted. Keep that in mind with generation: if the create action was accepted but the render later fails, the task was already counted because the action itself went through.
03Do JoggAI triggers run in real time?
Yes. All four JoggAI triggers are instant: JoggAI tells Zapier the moment an avatar or a video succeeds or fails, and the Zap starts right away. The plan intervals (15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise) only apply to polling triggers, which JoggAI does not use. That is why a free account gets alerts as fast as a paid one. In the editor, a Zap built on one of these triggers shows a lightning bolt.
04What is required to connect a JoggAI account?
A JoggAI account, then three moves in Zapier: open the Apps page, click + Add connection, pick JoggAI and sign in on the tab that opens to grant access. If you want the Zap to touch avatars, templates or products you do not own, your account needs access to them. Before building, check that the account already holds at least one avatar and one voice, because the video actions require their IDs and cannot be tested without them.
05Why does a JoggAI video Zap stop before the video step?
Usually a search came back empty. Create Video From Avatar needs an Avatar ID and a Voice ID, and most Zaps get them from Find My Voice or Find Library Avatar. With the default setting, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there and skips the steps that depended on it. Check the value you search for against what really exists in JoggAI. If several items match, the default keeps the first one, which may not be the one you meant.
06What if the JoggAI operation for a given job is missing?
Then Zapier cannot do it with JoggAI today. The 31 visible operations cover avatars, videos, products, files, templates, voices and webhooks, but there is no trigger for a new product or a new upload, and no action to edit a finished video or delete an avatar. The type of each trigger is set by JoggAI's own API and cannot be changed from the editor. Another automation tool, or a direct request to JoggAI, is the next route to check.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for JoggAI?
It depends on the criterion that matters most to you. Zapier wins on getting started: a free plan, instant triggers that are not slowed by your plan, and a guided editor. Its limit is the two-step cap on the free plan, which most JoggAI video flows hit quickly. If you plan long chains of searches and actions, compare how each tool bills a run. If you need self-hosting or code steps, that criterion points elsewhere. None of these is a verdict, only the questions to ask.
