Overview

What the JustClick Zapier integration actually does for you

JustClick is where you sell digital products and online courses. Linking it to Zapier means one thing: when a lead signs up, joins a list, places an order or buys, something else happens without you touching it. And the reverse works too, since other tools can create leads, tags and orders inside JustClick.

Three results people usually build first. A clean buyer segment: New Purchase fires, Add Tag to Lead stamps the buyer, and your follow-up emails stop pitching a course they already own. Leads that arrive from elsewhere: a webinar tool or a form starts the Zap, and Add/Update Lead drops the person into the JustClick list you picked, or refreshes their record if they were already there. Orders logged without copy-paste: a sale closed outside JustClick becomes a record through Create Order, so your sales history stays in one place.

Now the honest part. Zapier can't look anything up in JustClick: there is no search step for this app, so a Zap can't check whether a lead exists before acting on them. Four of the six actions simply fail when the lead isn't there yet. There's no action to delete an order or edit a product either.

If you're weighing other tools, the JustClick Make integration covers the same app on Make, and Make vs Zapier is there if you want to weigh the two platforms.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, in plain English

Seven terms come back all over this page. Here they are once, then we use them without explaining again.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier sits and waits for that event.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or changes something for you in an app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
Instant vs polling trigger
An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens. A polling one is checked by Zapier on a timer set by your plan.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it quietly otherwise.
Connection
Your JustClick account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that touches JustClick.
Cost

What it really costs to run

JustClick isn't reserved for paid plans, so it works on Zapier's free plan. The trigger never costs a task; only a completed action does.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
  • Free plan Zap size2 steps: one trigger, one action
  • JustClick triggersAll instant, no waiting interval
  • Failed actionNot counted

Each action that goes through counts once, so a Zap that tags a buyer and then removes them from a list spends two tasks per sale. A failed action isn't billed. The catch: the free plan stops at two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a second action or a filter and you have a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below only matters for polling triggers, and JustClick has none.

Connect

Connect your JustClick account

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a JustClick account first, plus access to any list or product you don't own yourself but want the Zap to touch.

  2. 02

    Find JustClick

Type JustClick in the search box of the dialog that opens and pick it from the results. Then click Add connection: a new browser tab appears, where JustClick asks you to sign in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Log in to JustClick in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is now saved, and every JustClick step you build later reuses it.

First Zap

Your first Zap: move buyers out of the prospect list

GoalWhen someone buys, tag them as a customer and take them off the list that keeps pitching the sale.

  1. 01

    Build the trigger

Create a Zap, pick JustClick as the app and New Purchase as the event, then choose your connection. Since this trigger is instant, the editor shows a lightning bolt next to it.

  2. 02

    Test with a real sale

Click test. Zapier brings back the three most recent purchases of your account, so pick a real one: its email is what you'll map into the next steps.

  3. 03

    Add the tag

Add JustClick Add Tag to Lead. Type the tag in Lead tag, for example customer, and map the buyer's email from the trigger into Lead email.

  4. 04

    Clean the list

Add JustClick Remove Lead From List, choose your prospect list in List, and map the same email. Two actions means a multi-step Zap, so this one needs a paid plan.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Run each step once and check the lead in JustClick. When the tag and the list both look right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.

Triggers

JustClick triggers: what starts a Zap

4 events start a Zap when something happens in JustClick, and 4 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Added to List

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a lead is added to any list.”

Starts your Zap whenever a lead lands in one of your JustClick lists, whichever list it is. Unlike a brand-new signup, this also catches an existing contact who joins a second list, which is often the moment their interest changes.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a lead joins your waiting list for the next cohort and you want them added to a webinar tool or a spreadsheet straight away.
Watch out
it fires on any list, so add a filter if only one list matters, and remember that filter makes the Zap multi-step.
2

New Lead

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is created.”

Fires the first time a person is created in your JustClick account, before they've bought anything. This is the top of your funnel: someone gave you an email, and nothing else has happened yet.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
you want every new signup copied into your CRM so a salesperson sees them the same day.
Watch out
never pair it with Add/Update Lead writing into the same account, or each new lead the Zap creates starts the Zap again and drains your tasks.
3

New Order

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new order is created.”

Kicks off as soon as an order is created in JustClick, whether a buyer placed it or another Zap created it. Pick it when every order matters to you, and New Purchase when only completed purchases do.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
post every fresh order in a team chat so someone on your side sees it straight away.
Watch out
if you also run Create Order from another Zap, those orders start this one too, so check you aren't building a loop.
4

New Purchase

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a product is purchased.”

Goes off when a product is actually bought. If your Zap should only react to people who paid (course access, a thank-you sequence, an invoice in your accounting tool), this is the event to start from rather than New Order.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
tag the buyer and move them off your sales list, as in the first Zap above.
Watch out
a Zap only reacts to purchases made after you publish it, so last month's buyers need a separate import.
Actions

JustClick actions: what a Zap can do in your account

JustClick gives you 6 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Add Tag to Lead

Action

In Zapier“Add a tag to a lead. Note: the lead must already be created, or this will fail.”

Stamps one or more tags on an existing lead, found by their email. Tags are how you segment without multiplying lists.

When to use it
mark people who attended a live session so the replay email skips them.
Watch out
the lead has to be in JustClick already, otherwise the step fails. Put Add/Update Lead before it when you're not sure.
2

Add/Update Lead

Action

In Zapier“Add a new lead to a list of your choosing. Can be used to update an existing lead too.”

Puts a person into the JustClick list you choose, or refreshes their details when they're already in your account. One action covers both cases, so you don't need to know in advance whether they exist.

When to use it
people who register on a webinar platform or a landing page outside JustClick should land in your course list.
Watch out
it can wake up New Lead or Added to List in another Zap.
3

Create Order

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new order”

Records a new order in JustClick for a customer email and a product you pick from the list or enter by id. An optional field lets you mark the order as confirmed or not.

When to use it
a sale closed by phone or through another payment tool still belongs in your JustClick history.
Watch out
the product must already exist in your account, or there's nothing to select.
4

Remove Lead From List

Action

In Zapier“Remove lead from a List. Note: the lead must already be created, or this will fail.”

Pulls a lead out of one specific list while keeping them in your account and in their other lists. You choose the list, then map the email.

When to use it
a buyer should stop receiving the sales sequence of the course they just bought.
Watch out
if the email doesn't match an existing lead, the step fails, and a failed step isn't billed.
5

Remove Tag From Lead

Action

In Zapier“Remove a tag to a lead. Note: the lead must already be created, or this will fail.”

Takes a tag off a lead identified by email, the mirror of the previous action. Handy when a status ends: a trial runs out, a payment is refunded, a cohort finishes.

When to use it
drop the prospect tag the moment someone becomes a customer.
Watch out
same rule as adding, the lead must exist, or the run fails and nothing changes.
6

Unsubscribe Lead

Action

In Zapier“Unsubscribe a lead from your account. Note: the lead must already be created, or this will fail.”

Unsubscribes a lead from your JustClick account using only their email. It goes further than removing them from one list, so keep it for real opt-outs.

When to use it
someone asks your support desk to stop all emails, and you want that request applied in JustClick without doing it by hand.
Watch out
the lead must already exist in JustClick, or the action fails.
When it breaks

When a JustClick Zap breaks

Zapier doesn't attach any help article to JustClick, so these are the general limits that hit this app hardest.

Most failures come from timing or from a lead that isn't where the Zap expects it. If you're stuck on one that keeps failing, Zapier troubleshooting walks through the usual fixes.

  • The lead doesn't exist yet

Tag, list removal and unsubscribe actions need a lead already in JustClick. Run them on a new email and the step fails, though the failed run costs no task.
  • The Zap keeps restarting itself

Add/Update Lead writing into the account that New Lead or Added to List watches starts the Zap over and over, and your task count drops fast.
  • Past sales are ignored

A Zap only sees what happens after you publish it. Buyers and leads that were already there are never picked up; moving them is a separate job.
  • A bulk import gets held back

Import a big batch of leads at once and Zapier's flood protection can hold the resulting trigger events back instead of running them all.

FAQ

JustClick Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the JustClick Zapier integration free?
Yes, as long as your Zap stays at two steps. JustClick isn't reserved for paid plans, so it works on the free plan, which gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit is size: one trigger and one action. As soon as you add a second action, a filter or a search, the Zap becomes multi-step and requires a paid plan. A simple New Purchase to Add Tag to Lead Zap fits the free plan with room to spare.
02How many tasks does a JustClick Zap use?
One per action that completes. The trigger never counts, so a New Lead event that starts a Zap with a single action costs exactly one task. A Zap that tags a buyer and then removes them from a list costs two per sale. Actions that fail, for example when the lead doesn't exist yet in JustClick, aren't counted. Looking for new events costs nothing either, so a quiet week with no sales costs zero tasks.
03Do JustClick triggers run in real time?
Yes. All four JustClick triggers are instant: JustClick tells Zapier the moment a lead, a list signup, an order or a purchase happens, and the Zap starts straight away. The plan interval grid, from 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise, only applies to polling triggers, and JustClick has none. That makes this one of the cases where the free plan reacts as fast as a paid one.
04What does it take to connect JustClick to Zapier?
A JustClick account and a Zapier account. From the Apps page in Zapier you click + Add connection, search for JustClick, click Add connection, sign in to JustClick in the new tab and grant access. If the Zap will touch lists or products someone else owns, make sure your account can read and write them. The connection is saved once and reused by every Zap, so you never repeat these steps for a second JustClick Zap.
05Why does Add Tag to Lead fail on new contacts?
Because it only works on a lead who already exists in JustClick. The same goes for Remove Tag From Lead, Remove Lead From List and Unsubscribe Lead: all four find the person by email and stop if nobody matches. When the email comes from another tool, put Add/Update Lead first so the lead is created or updated before the tag. That adds a step, so the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan.
06What if the JustClick operation needed isn't available?
Then Zapier can't do it directly, because the editor only offers the 4 triggers and 6 actions listed here. There's no search, so a Zap can't look up a lead or an order, and no action deletes an order or edits a product. The usual way around it is to change the logic: use tags and lists as the state you read, or start from another trigger. For anything beyond that, compare what other automation tools offer for JustClick.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for JustClick?
It depends on your criteria, not on a winner. On Zapier, the deciding facts for JustClick are clear: 4 instant triggers that react straight away on every plan, 6 actions centered on leads, tags and orders, no search, and a free plan capped at two steps. Judge the other tools on the same points: which JustClick operations they actually expose, whether a lead lookup exists, and how a run is billed. A missing action is harder to work around than a difference in pricing model.
