Overview

What the Mihu AI Zapier integration actually does

Mihu AI is a contact center platform where AI agents handle customer calls, appointments and lead qualification. The Zapier integration links that account to the rest of your tools: a call or chat report from Mihu AI can start an automation, and the other apps you use can make Mihu AI call, text, book or update a record without anyone opening it.

Three results to start with. A follow-up that schedules itself: when a voice session report lands, New Voice Evaluation starts the Zap and Create Task queues the next call or message for an agent. A contact list that fills a campaign: a new row in your spreadsheet becomes a contact through Create Contact, then Send Contacts to Campaign drops it into an existing campaign. An agent that keeps learning: Send Text Prompt or Import Dataset feeds new material to an agent, and Sync Dataset refreshes what it knows.

Now what Zapier does not do here. Only two events can start a Zap from Mihu AI, and both are evaluation reports (one for voice sessions, one for text sessions). A new contact, a booked appointment or a finished campaign is not a trigger. There is also no search step on this app: Find Contact, Find Dataset, Find Appointments and Find Dataset Records sit among the actions, so you add them like any other action, and each one that completes counts as a task. None of this is a defect, it is simply where the app draws its line.

Vocabulary

Zapier words in one minute

The page uses these words from here on. Each one is explained once, in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier simply waits for it to happen.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that creates, sends, changes or removes something for you.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action that your Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan counts these.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event occurs.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming item meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Connection
Your Mihu AI account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that talks to Mihu AI.
Cost

What Mihu AI costs you in tasks

Mihu AI is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The bill is counted in tasks, and the trigger itself is free.

  • TriggerFree, never counted
  • Each successful action1 task
  • Failed actionNot counted
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
  • Premium appNo

Every action that succeeds is one task, and an action that fails is not counted. A Zap that creates a contact and then adds it to a campaign spends two tasks per run. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps: one trigger, one action. Add a second action or a filter and you need a paid plan. The interval grid below is the one Zapier applies to polling triggers; both Mihu AI triggers are instant, so it does not apply to them.

Connect

Connect your Mihu AI account

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a Mihu AI account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

  2. 02

    Pick Mihu AI

Type Mihu AI in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab then opens on the Mihu AI side, ready for the sign-in of the next step.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Log in to Mihu AI in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. From then on, every Zap step that uses Mihu AI can reuse this connection, so you do it once for all your Zaps.

First Zap

Your first Zap: queue a follow-up after every chat report

GoalWhen Mihu AI produces a text session report, keep only the ones that match your condition and create a call task for an agent.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap and pick Mihu AI as the app that starts it. This Zap has a filter, so it is multi-step and needs a paid plan.

  2. 02

    Set the trigger

Choose New Text Evaluation and select your Mihu AI connection. It is an instant trigger: the app tells Zapier the moment a report exists.

  3. 03

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from your account, so you map the next steps on a real report and see which fields it carries.

  4. 04

    Add the filter

Click the plus icon, add Filter, then set the three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. Pick a text rule for text and a number rule for numbers. This filter is why the Zap needs a paid plan.

  5. 05

    Add Create Task

Add the Mihu AI action Create Task. Fill the title, choose call as the type, map a phone number with its country code and pick the agent that will handle it.

  6. 06

    Test and publish

Test the action, check the task in Mihu AI, then click Publish. Only reports produced after this moment start the Zap, earlier ones are ignored.

Triggers

Mihu AI triggers

2 events start a Zap when something happens in Mihu AI, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Text Evaluation

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when text session report is generated.”

Starts the Zap each time Mihu AI generates the report of a text session, so a written conversation handled by an agent can feed the rest of your tools.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
you want every chat or message session summed up somewhere else, or followed by a call task, without copying anything by hand.
Watch out
what the report contains is not documented, so run the trigger test and read the fields before you map them.
2

New Voice Evaluation

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when session report is generated.”

Fires when Mihu AI finishes the report of a voice session, which is the natural starting point for anything that should happen after an AI agent hangs up.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a phone conversation should end with a follow-up task, a status change on an appointment, or a contact update.
Watch out
the Agent box decides whose evaluations start the Zap; it is marked required here, so pick an agent and confirm at the test which reports come back.
Actions

Mihu AI actions

Mihu AI gives you 28 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Send Contacts to Campaign

Action

In Zapier“Adds contacts to an existing listing.”

Puts contacts into a campaign that is already running or planned in Mihu AI.

When to use it
after Create Contact in the same Zap, so each new lead joins the right outreach in one pass.
Watch out
three fields are required, the phone number, the contact UUID and the campaign UUID, so an earlier step or a typed value has to supply them.
2

Send Dataset to Agent

Action

In Zapier“Links a dataset to an AI agent for training.”

Links an existing dataset to an AI agent so the agent trains on it.

When to use it
right after Import Dataset, so the material you just imported reaches the agent that needs it.
Watch out
the agent UUID and the dataset are both required, so have both identifiers ready from an earlier step.
3

Create Agent

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new AI agent in your Mihu AI account with the specified configuration, role, and behavior settings.”

Sets up a brand new AI agent with its own role and behavior settings, from a Zap rather than from the Mihu AI dashboard.

When to use it
each new offer or campaign gets its own dedicated agent, created the same way every time.
Watch out
only the display name is required; check at the test which role and behavior settings the step exposes before you map them.
4

Create Appointment

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new appointment.”

Books a slot in Mihu AI with a title, a start time, an end time and the contact it concerns.

When to use it
a booking made in another tool must show up in the agenda your agents work from.
Watch out
a Schedule UUID is required, so the account needs at least one schedule before this step can succeed.
5

Create Contact

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new contact in your Mihu account.”

Adds a person to your Mihu AI account so agents can call or text them later.

When to use it
a lead captured in a form or a spreadsheet should land in Mihu AI straight away.
Watch out
the phone number is the only required field, and nothing documented says duplicates are blocked, so check at the test.
6

Create Campaign

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new call or message campaign listing.”

Opens a new campaign of calls or messages, tied to one AI agent and to a start and end date.

When to use it
a new segment in your sales tool should become its own outreach campaign without manual setup.
Watch out
six fields are required here, including the campaign type and the agent, so map each one or the step will not go through.
7

Create Record

Action

In Zapier“Adds a new record to an existing dataset.”

Appends one record to a dataset that already exists, which is how you add fresh facts to what an agent can draw on.

When to use it
every new product or listing in your catalog should become one more line of agent knowledge.
Watch out
Record Data wants field names paired with values, in the format of the example in its help text.
8

Create Task

Action

In Zapier“Creates a scheduled task like a call or message.”

Schedules a call or a message for an agent to carry out, with a title and the phone number to reach.

When to use it
a report, a form or a missed deal should turn into a planned contact rather than an instant one.
Watch out
the number needs its country code, and the agent field is required too.
9

Delete Appointment

Action

In Zapier“Deletes an appointment.”

Erases an appointment instead of marking it cancelled.

When to use it
a booking created by mistake should disappear rather than stay in the history.
Watch out
if you only want to record a cancellation, Update Appointment Status is the safer step.
10

Delete Contact

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a contact from your account.”

Removes a contact from your Mihu AI account for good.

When to use it
a deletion request handled in your CRM should be applied in Mihu AI too.
Watch out
it works from the contact UUID, so double-check which contact that value points to before you publish.
11

Delete Dataset

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a dataset from your Mihu AI account.”

Removes an entire dataset from the account, every record included.

When to use it
a temporary knowledge base built for one campaign should go once the campaign is over.
Watch out
it acts on the dataset UUID you map, so double-check that value at the test before you publish.
12

Delete Record

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a record from a dataset.”

Drops one record from a dataset so the agent stops using it.

When to use it
an item is withdrawn from your catalog and should no longer be quoted.
Watch out
the dataset UUID is required, and what else the step asks for to pick the record is worth checking at the test.
13

Find Contact

Action

In Zapier“Finds a specific contact by UUID.”

Looks up one contact by its UUID and returns it to the steps that follow.

When to use it
a later step needs the full contact while the trigger only carried its identifier.
Watch out
this is filed as an action, not a search step, so it counts as a task when it completes and does not offer the search settings.
14

Find Dataset

Action

In Zapier“Finds a specific dataset by its ID.”

Fetches a single dataset by its ID so its details can feed the rest of the Zap.

When to use it
before Send Dataset to Agent, when you want to confirm which dataset you are about to link.
Watch out
the dataset UUID is required; as an action, each successful lookup costs a task.
15

Import Dataset

Action

In Zapier“Imports a file as a new dataset for your AI agent.”

Takes a file and turns it into a new dataset that your AI agent can learn from.

When to use it
a document dropped into a shared folder should become agent material on its own.
Watch out
both the dataset name and the file are required; the accepted file types are not documented, so check at the test.
16

Send Text Prompt

Action

In Zapier“Imports plain text as training data for your AI agent.”

Despite the name, this one imports plain text as training data for your agent rather than sending a message to anyone.

When to use it
notes, answers or policies kept as text elsewhere should become something an agent knows.
Watch out
it needs a name for the new training dataset and the text itself; both are required.
17

Find Appointments

Action

In Zapier“Gets all appointments from your account.”

Pulls all the appointments of your account in one step.

When to use it
a report or a recap elsewhere should list what is booked in Mihu AI.
Watch out
it takes no required field and returns everything; check at the test how the result arrives before mapping it into the next step.
18

Find Dataset Records

Action

In Zapier“Gets all records from a dataset.”

Returns every record of one dataset, handy for checking what an agent actually knows.

When to use it
you want to export or review the content of a dataset in another tool.
Watch out
the dataset UUID is required, and the whole dataset comes back, so read the test output before building on it.
19

Create Call

Action

In Zapier“Initiates an outbound call using an AI agent.”

Makes an AI agent place an outbound call to a phone number, right when the Zap reaches this step.

When to use it
a hot lead fills in a form and you want the agent on the phone with them instead of a task in a queue.
Watch out
include the country code in the number; an optional Overwrite Prompt field also exists, so test what it changes before relying on it.
20

Delete Contact From Campaign

Action

In Zapier“Removes a contact from a listing.”

Takes a contact out of a campaign while keeping the contact in your account.

When to use it
someone opts out or converts, and the outreach should stop reaching them.
Watch out
both the contact and the campaign must be selected; this is not the same as Delete Contact, which removes the person entirely.
21

Send SMS

Action

In Zapier“Initiates conversation with an SMS”

Opens a conversation by text message, sent by the agent you pick, with the content you write or map.

When to use it
a first written contact feels lighter than a call, for example right after a sign-up.
Watch out
the number has to follow the international E.164 format given in the field help, with the plus sign and country code.
22

Send WhatsApp Template

Action

In Zapier“Sends a WhatsApp template message to a contact.”

Pushes a WhatsApp template message to a contact through a WhatsApp agent of your account.

When to use it
a confirmation or reminder should reach people on WhatsApp in a wording you already prepared.
Watch out
it asks for the template ID and the agent ID, so the template has to exist in Mihu AI before the Zap runs.
23

Sync Dataset

Action

In Zapier“Syncs and refreshes a dataset to update AI agent knowledge.”

Refreshes a dataset so the agent's knowledge catches up with its latest content.

When to use it
as the last step after Create Record or Update Record, so the change actually reaches the agent.
Watch out
it only needs the dataset UUID, and it is one more task each time it completes.
24

Update Agent

Action

In Zapier“Update Agent in Mihu AI”

Edits the settings of an agent you already have, without rebuilding it.

When to use it
a change of offer or script decided elsewhere should reach the agent in charge of it.
Watch out
the agent UUID is the only required field; check at the test which settings this action exposes before mapping them.
25

Update Appointment

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing appointment.”

Modifies an existing appointment in Mihu AI, such as its timing or title.

When to use it
a slot moved in your calendar tool should move in Mihu AI as well.
Watch out
it targets the appointment by its UUID; without that identifier from an earlier step, the action has nothing to edit.
26

Update Appointment Status

Action

In Zapier“Changes the status of an appointment.”

Switches an appointment to approved, pending or cancelled, the three statuses the field offers.

When to use it
a confirmation or a cancellation received in another tool should be reflected in the Mihu AI agenda.
Watch out
the status field is required and so is the appointment, which an earlier step has to supply.
27

Update Contact

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing contact.”

Changes the details of a contact that is already in Mihu AI.

When to use it
someone edits their phone or profile in your CRM and Mihu AI should follow.
Watch out
it works from the contact UUID, so you need that identifier from an earlier step before this one can run.
28

Update Record

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing record in a dataset.”

Rewrites values in a record that already sits in a dataset.

When to use it
a price or a location changes in your source and the agent should quote the new one.
Watch out
like Create Record, Record Data expects field names with their new values, following the example in the field help.
When it breaks

When a Mihu AI Zap breaks

Zapier publishes no help article and no documented limit specific to Mihu AI. What breaks is therefore what breaks on any Zap.

Four cases are worth knowing before you switch the Zap on. If a run fails anyway, our Zapier troubleshooting guide is the place to start.

  • Past reports are not picked up

A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is published. Evaluations produced before that moment never start it; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that keeps restarting itself

A Zap that writes into the very place its trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn through the task count fast. Keep trigger and actions apart.
  • A sudden flood of reports

A trigger that suddenly sends a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration for example, can be held back by Zapier's flood protection.
  • A failed action costs nothing

An action that does not go through is not counted against your plan. The run still stops there, so the steps after it do not happen.

FAQ

Mihu AI and Zapier: frequent questions

01Is the Mihu AI Zapier integration free?
Yes. Mihu AI is not a premium app, so it works on the free Zapier plan. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps, but each Zap is limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. A Zap that creates a contact and then adds it to a campaign has two actions, so it needs a paid plan. The same goes as soon as you add a filter to keep only some evaluation reports.
02How many tasks does a Mihu AI Zap use?
One task per action that completes successfully, and nothing for the trigger. A Zap started by New Voice Evaluation that runs Create Task uses one task per report. If it also runs Find Contact first, that lookup is an action on this app, so it counts too and the run costs two. An action that fails is not counted against the plan. Watching for new reports never costs anything, whatever the volume.
03Does Mihu AI trigger Zaps in real time?
Yes. Both Mihu AI triggers, New Text Evaluation and New Voice Evaluation, are instant: the app tells Zapier as soon as the report exists and the Zap starts right away. The interval grid of the plans, 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise, only concerns polling triggers, so it does not apply to either of them. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt.
04What do you need to connect Mihu AI to Zapier?
An account on Mihu AI, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is done from the Apps page of Zapier with + Add connection, then a sign-in to Mihu AI in a new tab where you grant access. Before building, make sure the account already holds what the actions will ask for, starting with at least one AI agent.
05Where do the UUIDs that Mihu AI actions ask for come from?
From an earlier step of the same Zap, or from a value you type in. Many actions, such as Update Contact, Delete Record or Send Contacts to Campaign, identify their target by a UUID rather than by a name. Note that Find Contact and Find Dataset also ask for a UUID: they bring back details of an item you can already identify, they do not discover its identifier. Run each test and check which identifiers really come back before mapping them. Remember that every added action makes the Zap multi-step.
06What if the Mihu AI operation you need is not listed?
Then this integration cannot do it today. The current list is the one shown on the Mihu AI app page on Zapier, which gives the 2 triggers and 28 actions available in the editor. Check there first, then look at whether a chain of existing actions gets you close: a Find action followed by an Update action may cover a change that has no dedicated step, check at the test. If nothing fits, the step simply is not offered.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Mihu AI?
Decide by criterion, not by reputation. On Zapier, Mihu AI offers 30 operations, both triggers are instant and a two-step Zap runs on the free plan, which suits a single report followed by a single action. If your flow needs several actions per report, weigh the price of a paid Zapier plan against the alternatives. Whether Make or n8n offer a Mihu AI connector, and with which operations, has to be checked in their own app lists.
