MillionVerifier Zapier integrationAutomate MillionVerifier with Zapier.
The MillionVerifier Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 0 actions and 1 search. That one search, Verify Email, checks an email address in the middle of a Zap started by another app, before the address goes anywhere else.

What the MillionVerifier Zapier integration actually does
MillionVerifier is an email verification service. On Zapier it brings a single step, Verify Email, that takes one address and checks it. Another app starts the Zap, MillionVerifier checks the address it carries, and the next steps decide what to do with what comes back, so an address can be held away from your CRM or your mailing list.
Three results to start with. A cleaner CRM: each new form submission goes through Verify Email, and only the addresses that meet your filter condition reach your CRM. Sign-ups checked before the welcome email: a new subscriber in your email tool is verified first, and a filter holds back the ones you choose to stop. A spreadsheet that flags bad addresses: rows added to a sheet are checked one by one, and what the check returns is written into another sheet.
Now what Zapier does not do here. MillionVerifier has no trigger and no action on Zapier, only this search. It cannot start a Zap, and it cannot send, store or clean anything by itself: another app has to bring the address, and another app has to receive the result. The integration checks one address per run, the one the earlier step hands over, and nothing in the operation list covers a whole list at once.
The same app also has a MillionVerifier Make integration page. To weigh both tools, see our Make vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier words in one minute
The rest of the page uses these words. Each one is explained once, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. MillionVerifier has none, so a form, a CRM or a sheet plays that part.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that creates, sends or moves something, here in the app after the check.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action that your Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan counts these.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant one is reported by the app itself. It depends on the other app.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming item meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks something up and hands the answer to the next steps. Verify Email is MillionVerifier's only one.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A search or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What MillionVerifier costs you on Zapier
MillionVerifier is not a premium app. Yet every Zap that uses it needs a paid plan, because its only operation is a search.
- TriggerFree, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Failed actionNot counted
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Premium appNo, but the search needs a paid plan
A Zap with a search step is a multi-step Zap, and the free plan stops at two steps: one trigger, one action. A trigger from your form plus Verify Email plus one action is already three steps. On a paid plan, each action that succeeds counts one task, an action that fails is not counted, and the trigger never costs anything. The grid below is how often Zapier checks a polling trigger. MillionVerifier has no trigger of its own: whether the grid applies depends on the app that starts your Zap.
Connect your MillionVerifier account
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a MillionVerifier account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick MillionVerifier
Type MillionVerifier in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the MillionVerifier side for the sign-in.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to MillionVerifier in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. Every Verify Email step, in every Zap, then reuses this one connection. Nothing else to set.
Your first Zap: only verified leads reach your CRM
GoalWhen a form is submitted, verify the email address with MillionVerifier and create the CRM contact only when the result passes your condition.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap. It has a search and a filter, so it is a multi-step Zap and needs a paid plan, as every MillionVerifier Zap does.
- 02
Set the form trigger
Pick your form app and its new-submission event, then test it. Zapier brings back the three most recent submissions, so you work on a real one.
- 03
Add Verify Email
Add MillionVerifier, pick Verify Email under the search events and map the form's email field into Email Address. Test the step and read what comes back.
- 04
Add the filter
Add Filter from the plus icon and set the field, the rule and the value on a value you saw come back at the test. This filter step needs a paid plan.
- 05
Add the CRM action
Add your CRM and its create-contact action, then map the name and the verified address from the earlier steps into its fields.
- 06
Test and publish
Test the whole Zap with one real submission, then click Publish. Submissions received before that moment are not checked.
MillionVerifier search
1 search step looks for data that already exists in MillionVerifier, so a later step can use it.
A search step looks something up and hands the answer to the steps that follow. MillionVerifier's only search, Verify Email, sits at the bottom of the action event list, under its own SEARCH heading. It has no find-or-create variant. Three settings decide what happens around it.
Verify Email
SearchIn Zapier“Verify an Email address”
Checks one email address with MillionVerifier and hands what it finds to the steps that follow, so the Zap can decide what to do with that address.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there and the steps after it are skipped. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet?On apps that offer it, ticking this box turns a search into a find-or-create. Verify Email has no such variant, so there is nothing to create here.
- If multiple search results are found?Three ways out when several items match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or hand all of them on at once.
When a MillionVerifier Zap breaks
Zapier publishes no help article and no documented limit specific to MillionVerifier. What breaks is what breaks on any Zap, plus the fact that the check sits in the middle.
Four cases worth knowing before you switch the Zap on. If a run fails anyway, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Past addresses are not checked
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is published. Addresses already in your form or CRM are never verified by it; checking that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that keeps restarting itself
Writing the result into the very place the trigger watches, such as the same sheet, can set the Zap off again and again and burn through tasks fast.A sudden flood of new entries
A trigger that suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration for example, can be held back by Zapier's flood protection.A search that stops the Zap
With the default setting, a search that returns nothing stops the run and skips the steps after it. Decide at the test whether that is what you want.
