Mokaform Zapier integrationAutomate Mokaform with Zapier.
The Mokaform Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. One door only, but a useful one: every form or survey submission can start a Zap and land in the tool where your team actually works, without anyone exporting answers by hand.

What the Mokaform Zapier integration actually does
It takes what people send through your Mokaform forms and surveys and hands it to your other apps. You build a Zap (an automation with one starting event and one or more steps after it), and Zapier runs it every time someone submits. The answers stop sitting in Mokaform waiting for an export.
Everything here starts from one trigger, New Submission, so the three results below differ by the step you put after it.
A spreadsheet that fills itself. Each submission becomes a new row in the spreadsheet you already share with your team. No more downloading answers and pasting them in.
A heads-up for the right person. Put a messaging app after the trigger and every new answer reaches the people who need to act on it, with the details of the submission in the message.
A contact where you track contacts. Send the answers into the tool where you keep your contacts, so a survey reply or a request becomes a record there instead of a line in another list.
What Zapier does not do for Mokaform. There is no action: a Zap cannot create a form, change one, or write anything back into Mokaform. There is no search step either, so a Zap cannot look up an older submission. Mokaform is where a Zap begins, never where it ends.
If you are still deciding whether Zapier is the right tool for this, see our Zapier review.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words come back all over this page. Here they are once, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. For Mokaform, a new submission.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in another app here.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those.
- Instant vs polling
- An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens. A polling trigger is checked on a timer. Mokaform's is instant.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
- Connection
- Your Mokaform account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that starts from Mokaform.
What it really costs in tasks
Mokaform is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. Since Mokaform only starts Zaps, every task you spend is spent in the other app.
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Trigger cost0 tasks
- Mokaform triggerInstant, the grid does not apply
The trigger never costs a task. Each action that succeeds after it counts once, so a Zap that adds a row and then sends a message uses two tasks per submission. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action makes it a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The grid below is how often Zapier checks polling triggers on each plan; it does not apply to Mokaform's instant trigger, which fires straight away on every plan.
Connect your Mokaform account
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need an account on Mokaform, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Find Mokaform
Search for Mokaform by name in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens so you can sign in to Mokaform with the account that holds your forms.
- 03
Grant access
Sign in to Mokaform in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. The connection is saved once, and every Zap that starts from Mokaform reuses it afterwards.
Your first Zap: keep the answers you care about in a spreadsheet
GoalEach Mokaform submission that meets your condition becomes a new row in your spreadsheet.
- 01
Build: set the trigger
Create a Zap, pick Mokaform as the starting app and
New Submissionas the event. Choose your connection, then the form the Zap should listen to. - 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent submissions of the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real one. Check which answers come back.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon and add Filter. Fill the three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the spreadsheet action
Add your spreadsheet app and its add-a-row action, then map the answers from the test into the columns. Test this step too, and read what came back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. Submissions that arrived before that moment stay in Mokaform; only new ones go through.
The Mokaform trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Mokaform, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Submission
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a submission is sent.”
Starts your Zap whenever someone sends one of your Mokaform forms or surveys, and passes their answers to the steps that follow. It is the only operation Mokaform offers on Zapier, so every Zap built with this app begins here.
When a Mokaform Zap breaks
Zapier ties no help article to Mokaform and lists no limit specific to it. What can go wrong is what goes wrong on any Zap.
Three cases to know before you publish. If a Zap misbehaves, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Older submissions never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Answers sent before publishing are not picked up, and moving that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
As a general precaution: a Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and eat your tasks.A sudden huge batch
If a trigger suddenly returns a very large batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back.
